Amazing very clear, comfortable flat.

It was a lovely flat and bigger than it looked. It had absolutely everything you needed, and it was so clear and spotless, so comfortable, and the beds were very comfortable. You couldn't have asked for more. I would definitely recommend this beautiful flat. I will definitely be booking again.

what a delightful experience

I very much enjoyed our evenings, wonderful nearby restaurants, internet worked to our satisfaction. We were able to laundry a few clothes and fixed breakfast for ourselves in the morning and everything functioned well. thanks

Very comfortable flat in a central location

Very centrally located, easy to reach flat with very communicative hosts. All of the necessary items were provided. Very artfully selected decorations and functional kitchen.

Central location means no free parking close, Street parking is limited to 2 hours between 9am and 6pm (sunday 1pm to 6pm). If you plan to arrive around 6pm you can get around this, but don‘t leave your car in the street during the day for longer than 2 hours. North pier car park is supposed to have longer duration parking (did not check). Nothing that the hosts can do anything about, just something to plan for.

The apartment was beautiful very well equipped with everything.

The stairs uneven and no lights. Although I found the torch, I didn't see anything about the entrance been dark and a torch provided.

The apartment was beautifully decorated and there was attention to detail. Very comfortable and convenient to the center of town and the port.

We needed to park our car at a pay lot near the port, which was not convenient.

Wonderful apartment in downtown Oban!

You couldn't ask for a better location in Oban. We were able to walk everywhere, and the walk with baggage from the train station took only about 5 minutes. Our host was very easy to communicate with. We accidentally locked ourselves out one night (note to self to always put the keys back in the lock box), and he was there within 10 minutes. A lot of care was given to the remodeling of this apartment, and it felt spacious and well laid out. I highly recommend staying here!

Perfect location

Perfect location for exploring the area on foot. The apartment is very nice. We highly recommend, although we would have appreciated contact upon arrival. (We missed some cutting knives and a colander. The bed in the harbor-side room is very tired, the mattress is hollowed out on both sides.)

Lovely homely apartment well located in a great little town

Lovely and bright and very homely. Everything was provided for. It was great not needing to bring cleaning items, towels or other household items as we’re normally at the caravan and pack a car load. Loved the fact there was access to Netflix & you tube for my son. Location was perfect for us. Would definitely book again.

Fantastic location and a great price

This property was really central but even tho it was in the Main Street it was still relatively quiet. It was spotless and plenty of towels etc. Communication with the owner was excellent. We will definitely try and book here again when back in Oban

Adorable apartment in the heart of historic Oban with most everything you need to enjoy your stay. A slight water views out the kitchen window. Full kitchen with everything you need. The host were very attentive and responsive, you got the feeling they were nearby if you should need anything even though it was a contactless apartment.

In the summer it would help to have a couple of fans in the property as there is no air conditioning. The mattresses were not comfortable and need to be replaced. The building stairwell needs a fresh coat of paint and a good cleaning it was a little creepy.

Great location. The common room was great as was the small kitchen. There’s a washing machine and a drying rack. The bathroom and shower were the best on our whole trip. The twin beds were fine.

No on street parking. It would be nice if the landlord gave locations for 24 hour parking. We got a 50 GBP ticket for parking in the street. The double bed mattress was horrible and needs to be replaced.

Homely apartment with attention to detail with the visitor in mind.

This is a great property in the heart of town and on the main road through town. There are two good sized bedrooms with plenty of room for unpacking your clothes and settling in. The windows cut out most of the road noise but we elected to stay in the back bedroom since we like it really quiet. That said, traffic moves slowly through town so it is not as noisy as it could be, since it is on the Main Street. There is a great fish & chip shop nearly directly opposite. You are in the perfect location for getting ferries to the islands since you can walk to the ferry stop. There is a supermarket opposite so you can pop out for supplies whenever you need. This is also a Post Office so you can send those all important postcards (for those of us who still use traditional methods!) The initial entrance it a blue door and stone steps up to the front door. Thos area was clean and practical so we had no issues with it being the initial impression. When you step inside to the apartment, it is really homely with some lovely personal touches. The beds are ‘double’ sized. We sleep in a Superking so initially these seemed small but you soon get used to it. The apartment was light and airy and from the back bedroom, you can see over the rooftops to an amazing setting sun if you are lucky with the weather. We really enjoyed staying here and had were impressed with the quick response of the owner. Lots of information is available in the apartment about tours and excursions. This was a lovely touch despite most people using the internet. I really liked the tear off town map to get our initial bearings. A good sized TV, mood lighting for the evening and plenty of seating for 2-4 people.

We are fit and able individuals so we initially planned to drive by the property then loop back to park up and drop our bags off. Since check in is at 4pm, this is one of the busiest times on the main road so there was absolutely nowhere to park up. We therefore parked down by the Columbia Hotel/Tourist Information Centre and walked our bags up. This was not an issue for us and was easy but I could see that being more difficult for guests with more kit or heavy baggage. Although there are only parking meters for payment on the streets, the longer stay parking areas are reasonably priced and we parked there for over 24 hours for £11, I think this is very fair. I think that unless you are paying to stay in hotels along the Corran Esplanade, then this is just a factor that you accept for staying so centrally. It certainly didn’t put us off and we just did a couple of trips to the car and back with our bags. The tenant/owner upstairs could be heard walking around but this was not at unsociable hours and is part and parcel of staying in an apartment.

The walk from train was easy, very close. The dual pane windows made it very quiet inside. Loved having a washer. No, dryer but clothes dried fast on the provided rack.

We didn't realize the hot water heater could go out. Was so looking forward to a nice hot shower after coming back late, cold and wet only to find freezing water. Just a word of advice, check the water heater in kitchen to make sure green light is on! I slept in bedroom by the kitchen and that mattress has seen better days.
