2 bedroom, newly-renovated, comfortable town centre apartment!

Lovely, spotlessly clean Edinburgh apartment that matches the pictures perfectly. Communication with the host was excellent, and the check-in instructions were very clear. The beds were very comfortable, the shower was wonderful, and the internet worked great. Thoughtful extras like coffee, special treats, and toiletries made us feel right at home. This is an ideal spot to walk around the town and close to restaurants. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Good location for exploring Oban and beyond. Interesting to have the opportunity to stay in an older tenement-style building. Useful basket of items that get forgotten when travelling. Access to a very handy plug adapter. Good shower. Access to Kerrera (super island where we spotted a white tailed eagle) but if using the Gallach crossing parking really does fill up very quickly.

Parking. The UK version of Booking.com suggests there is on site parking and then the text expands to currently say that the car park in Tweedle Street is £4 a day - this is certainly not the case. In this particular car park, there was no short and long stay rates: a day would be £1.20 an hour (9am-6pm M-F). Be prepared to pay significantly more than £4 if parking all day. Albeit a one way road, it is busy road and cars often stop with their engines running thus creating fumes which makes opening the front windows unpleasant. Clean kitchen but basic/limited in kitchen tools/ larger serving bowls. Trays would be helpful too as no table.

Wir hatten einen rundum sehr schönen Aufenthalt und können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, sauber und gepflegt. Besonders positiv aufgefallen ist uns der angenehme Duft der Bettwäsche, wodurch man sich direkt wohlgefühlt hat. Auch die gesamte Unterkunft war sehr sauber. Die Gastgeberinnen haben uns mit einem kleinen Geschenk begrüßt, was eine sehr nette und persönliche Aufmerksamkeit war. Für Hundebesitzer ist die Unterkunft ebenfalls hervorragend geeignet: Unser Hund hat sofort die bereitgestellten Näpfe mit Wasser und Hundekeksen entdeckt und war begeistert. Dass Hunde kostenlos willkommen sind, ist ein weiterer großer Pluspunkt. Aus Sicht unseres Hundes war es vermutlich die beste Unterkunft überhaupt. Auch die Hinweise zum Parken waren klar beschrieben und sehr hilfreich, sodass die Anreise problemlos verlief. Insgesamt eine liebevoll geführte Unterkunft mit vielen durchdachten Details, die den Aufenthalt besonders angenehm machen.

Da wir keine Couch-Menschen sind, hätten wir uns einen Esstisch gewünscht, aber das Essen am Sofa mit Couchtisch war für uns dennoch in Ordnung

Hübsches, ganz neu ausgestattetes Appartement, zentral gelegen und trotzdem ruhig. Sehr freundliche Gastgeberinnen. Heizung und Warmwasser haben bestens funktioniert.
