Disappointed as it doesn’t match the description

Not a lot the entry to the flat was a mess and didn’t give a good impression of what was to come. Especially as it was dirty with plaster hanging from the walls

Access by the stairs was difficult and some handrails were not attached to the wall. The flat was furnished with old furniture, the fridge was broken and the oven was filthy not fit to use. The worktop look as if someone had knocked bottle tops off as it was all chipped. The beds were uncomfortable little to recommend this let to the extent we left early

The location was fantastic, easy to walk to the tourist area as well as a grocery store.

The stairs were tight and since I'm tall I hit my head a few times. But that's my problem.

Unclean apartment.

Nice views, that's all unfortunately.

Really disappointed that we spent over £260 to stay here. Should have booked the Premiere Inn, which is where we usually stay when we visit Oban. Upon entry the place smelled like damp, probably from the wet bed linen hanging in the hallway cupboard. As you can see from the pictures, the place needs a deep clean, unsure what has been newly renovated? It isn't baby friendly at all. There's soo many cleaning products in an unlocked cupboard under the sink and ones left beside the toilet. The toy box had lots of chocolate wrappers in it and hair brushes with other people's hair in it as well as tiny little marbles which I'm glad my baby didn't get her hands on. There are over 50 (winding) stairs to get to the apartment so not pram friendly. That's my fault though as I should have read the negative reviews before booking. The main door is broken so doesn't shut and there's a long, dark hallway upon entry to the main building. Unsure why there is no light there? If I was travelling by myself then I would have left and not stayed here but I did not want to disappoint my kids who were excited for their holiday. Lesson learned though, stick to what you know.

Compact and comfortable

Up A LOT OF STAIRS. Very dark on bottom entrance stairs. Lots of left over foodstuffs and cleaning supplies filling some of the cupboards. I feel these should be cleared away . Some cleaning products would be enough . I stripped my bed and the bed topper was covered in bits , perhaps a shake off between customers would help .

Lovely location great views but needs a good clean

The location was ideal for staying in Oban with Oban itself having lots to do and see The flat was spacious with generously proportioned bedrooms and bathroom the flat was also warm on arrival it also had great views over the Oban and was well equipped with even a washing machine

The level of cleaning was below our expectation and there was no toilet paper in the flat at all which was very surprising. The shower although clean was lacking in power but this may have been due to the water pressure being on the top floor. the entrance hall gave a bad impression as this shared access was dark and full of bins. Gave a bad impression but better as you continue up the stairs to the top floor. Would stay again but would need to give the flat a good clean before staying and buy toilet paper on the way

Room with a view

The apartment was just lovely and situated very centrally. It had everything that we needed. The host kept in regular contact and shared parking, town events, and very accommodating. Check-in was straightforward Rooms were very spacious Large TV in living room The kitchen had all utensils and was very clean.

Brilliant location for Oban exploring!

Great location, close to the harbour and town. You can park in the Tesco car park opposite for a reasonable daily rate via an app. The place has everything you need and the rooftop views are great. Lovely very very helpful admin team make the stay even more special. Thank you Natalie and co.

the accommodations were fine, setup was fine.

The shower was pathetic, very little pressure, not very warm. Fix this and you get a good rating. better bed pillows would be nice. The heaters looked a little creepy but they worked OK. Had a little bit of trouble finding the place. When you stick in the address into Google maps it shows the location on the Other side of the square next to the train station. It did not take too long to figure out that made no sense so we reverted to you written direction which was very good. Some direction on parking would have been helpful.

Our fitters rates this property to highest standard and it’s not very often they call me to say so. Its location and facilities are great and the apartment brings a new look on working away giving the space and freedom of your own home. This will now be our preferred location throughout any contracts in Oban.

nice modern clean apartment. central location near all amenities. well equipped flat. smart tv. towels provided. good view of McCaigs tower. good value for money.

?no central heating. most rooms had electric radiators. although these worked well and heated up the room quickly so not an issue. The electric shower was not that powerful but it did the job.

Well-equipped apartment in a great location near the centre of Oban. Supermarket, ferry terminal, train station and restaurants all nearby. Great cafe next to next door which served lovely breakfast choices.

Nothing of any consequence. It is a top floor flat so has a number of steps to get there as you would expect. Occasional night-time noise which is routine for a town centre location but nothing that would stop me staying again.

Exceptional

We loved this flat. It was right in the center of Oban, walking distance from everything including a 3 min walk to the train, bus, and ferry. We enjoyed being in the middle of this tiny town. It was super comfortable, well decorated, and had all kinds of small details like snacks, coffee and such. The entrance looks sketchy but it's really not. It's a walk up no lift.

The winding steps, but it's not too bad. Just be prepared with luggage.

Great apartment with nice furnishings and a well equipped kitchen. Good sized bedrooms - decor fresh and clean.

Maybe add a cube shelf in the bedrooms and bathroom to keep stuff off the floor. Entrance off the street a bit rough looking. Many stairs!!
