Lovely spacious modern apartment - near to all the facilities of Oban.

Liked the modern uncluttered feel of the apartment. Liked the big windows and the light. Liked the quality of the tableware. Liked the king sized bed. Like the big TV in the sitting room. Liked the big walk-in shower. Like the nearness to the town. All excellent.

We found the 2 pillows on the bed too bulky squashed into the pillow-case. They felt a bit hard on the neck. would be good to have a choice of a softer pillow. However - this was not a major irritant.

Giving Faulty Towers a run for their money!

I stay here numerous times a year. This maybe has been my 9/10th stay however it was extremely disappointing for the price we paid for a Monday night out of season. Experienced numerous of issues, staff acted quickly so not to fault them but for the price we paid it was poor.

No heating or hot water in month of February. We called management and they sent a plumber around 30 minutes later. Plumber came and was around an hour in the apartment trying to fix it so there went a relaxing night! However, hours later the heating and hot water stopped working again. We just had to go without in the end. Shower head also fell off the wall and on top of me whilst showering - thankfully plumber was in at that point and tried to fix it but couldn’t. We were advised “not to pull it down” - however it’s a hand held body shower so unsure on how you could rinse your body by not pulling it? No coffee in the machine either as advertised, we asked for more and advised plumber would bring it. He didn’t but when we asked he had to go next door to the apartment and get some.

The apartment is clean and fresh. It's a conversion that has been done to an excellent standard. Very spacious and light. Everything you might need is supplied. The bed is huge and very comfortable. Could do with extra pillows though. The kitchen is well equipped with little extras left over from previous peeps which is brilliant 👍 Tea, coffee, sugar, some spices, stock cubes, seasoning. Truly superb. We were so impressed we took a video of the place. I have however only one picture. And that's of the TV as it has backlighting which I'd never seen before 😅 Will definitely stay again. Thank you 👍

Another win for Oban Apartments!

This is our 6th time now staying at Oban Apartments and as always, will not be our last. Apart from the apartment being beautifully decorated it is clean and very central to the centre. However, what really made our stay is that we left a kindle by accident and realised after we had left. The host called to let us know and kept it safe for us. She went above and beyond and posted it back to us several days later. We honestly can’t thank her enough and totally appreciate this. Thank you Justyna, this was simply outstanding and really kind of you. Make this your place to stay in Oban!

This apartment is in a great location with a large grocery store within a couple of minutes walk. Really comfortable bed and pillows, large bathroom with a great shower. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. Plenty of room and very comfortable. Extremely clean.

Well appointed Apartment

The apartment had been beautifully renovated. Very clean and well appointed. There is short term parking across the road - we had problems downloading the Tesco car park Ap, but ended up finding a small car park (cheaper than Tescos) just a block away. The view from the Apartment is of the Tesco Carpark, but it is a 5 minute walk into the waterfront, cafes etc, so a great location.

An apartment to return to.

Pristine apartment, beautifully scented with fresh lemon diffusers. Fantastic facilities including coffee machine (delicious coffee), 4 ringed cooker hob, large variety of cooking implements and basic ingredients. dishwasher etc. Luminously bright apartment, massive bathroom with beautifully fragranced body soaps and lotions and, most importantly, a large and comfortable bed (on the firm side, just the way we like it!) Two minutes walk from Tesco carpark, where we paid for 2 days parking in advance, and about 5 minutes walk from the seafront and the centre of Oban town. A joy to return to, after the fresh air of beautiful Oban and its surrounds. Will definitely return.

Must stay in Oban.

We loved this clean, modern apartment. Great shower. Nice and quiet. Easy walk to town. Close to supermarket. Wonderful kitchen and coffee machine.

The washing machine didn’t work. We really needed it to work, and even with reading the manual, we ended up pulling out wet clothes out mid cycle and using a laundromat in nearby Dunbeg. There are two flights of stairs which you will need to carry luggage up/down.

Very poor stay!

The host was horrible. We booked 2 rooms as a family, but he placed us on different floors. That was fine, but the soundproofing was unbelievably bad — it felt like someone was walking inside our room all night long. The bedroom didn’t even have curtains! The host stayed completely silent, never responded, and didn’t try to fix anything during the 3 days we stayed. No apology at all. The worse experience ever!

The apartment was very modern with many modern appliances. The walk-in shower was extremely good. The coffee machine was an added bonus. The apartment was very clean, and the large bed was very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

Horrible experience

- [ ] We booked the apartment for 5 nights. We checked in and there was a terrible smell in both rooms (garbage, rotten meat; not sure) as well as mold smell (right after entrance in the apartment, there is a ventilation door in the ceiling). Mold smell was also present outside the apartment, in the hallway., my husband was allergic and not feeling well. We have tried to air the rooms, washed twice with different cleaners the kitchen tops, tables and aired again. No success. Next morning we decided to leave and informed the owner. While we were leaving and carrying our luggage to the car, the cleaning person was on the phone with the owner and was asked to come and check with us. After inspecting, he said that he doesn’t smell anything.. we left, with no other solution offered to us at that moment. After 1.5 h after we left Oban by car, a solution was proposed to us via message to switch to another apartment. We already booked by that time something else, and we drove miles.. we lost 4 nights of stay and all our plans in that area of Scotland had to be canceled as we could not find another booking and we lost 700 euros (remaining 4 nights). We tried to contact booking twice for advice, no response, although they advertise response in 24 h. We did not cancel the booking as we did not changed our mind about the stay, we had an issue, and there was zero support from booking.com. After several weeks, the apartment offered a compensation of 90 euros, declaring to booking.com that we decided to change our plans.. this is such a lie, my husband was not feeling good, we could not sleep well due to the smell, and solution was offered 1.5 hours since driving away from Oban. We lost much more money than the 700 euros, we had to find other accommodation, cancel our plans and ruined our last part of vacation. There is no confidence in handling this situation, neither by owner, neither by Booking.
