Beautifully presented and very spacious one-bedroom apartment in the heart of Oban

Comfortable and convenient apartment within the centre of Oban. Communication throughout the process was excellent. Would certainly recommend this accommodation for a visit to Oban. Great access from the port to the Scottish isles and Highlands.

Imperial Apartment is a lovely self-catering apartment right in the centre of Oban. It is located on George Street, only a short walk from the harbour, ferry terminal, shops, cafés and restaurants, making it a great place to stay for anyone wanting to explore the town and the surrounding islands. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, with one large double bedroom, a modern bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a cosy living room. It also has free Wi-Fi and offers fantastic views over Oban Bay. The apartment is ideal for couples. One of the biggest advantages of staying here is the location. Guests can easily walk to popular attractions, catch ferries to nearby islands such as Mull and Kerrera, or enjoy the many local seafood restaurants and cafés. Everything you need is close by, so there is very little need to use a car once you arrive. Previous guests have left very positive reviews, often commenting on how clean, spacious and well-equipped the apartment is. Many people also mention the stunning sea views and say the apartment is an excellent base for exploring Oban and the west coast of Scotland. There are only a few minor drawbacks. The apartment is on the second floor and can only be reached by stairs, which may not suit everyone. Parking in the town centre can also be busy during peak tourist season. Overall, Imperial Apartment is an excellent place to stay. It combines comfort, convenience and beautiful views in one of the best locations in Oban. This was my second stay at this property, based on my outstanding experience with the original booking. This stay offered the exact same very enjoyable experience. This apartment is located in the heart of Oban along the waterfront and offers truly outstanding views. The apartment is spacious, well decorated and offers all the necessary amenities. Access procedures were crystal clear and there were no issues requiring contact with the host during my stay. The apartment was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The windows opened very easily for a great waterfront breeze, given I visited in the peak of summer. The kitchen also offered everything required. I would plan to stay here again without hesitation in any future visits to this beautiful Scottish town. Thanks for another unforgettable stay in Oban.

We were extremely disappointed to discover that the apartment which was, and continues to be, advertised as non-smoking reeked of tobacco. This was exacerbated by the inability of the windows to open more than a few inches. It took six days to air the apartment with both windows open almost all the time. Immediately upon arrival we emailed cottages.com on the emergency email address provided in the apartment’s instructions. We have never received a reply.
