Talisker Apartrment

The apt was clean and well equipped. Location was perfect for walking to everything in Oban. Lovely view of the harbor from our 4th floor room. And for the hale and hardy, the access to Jacob’s ladder was alongside the building to enable a tour of McCaig’s Tower

Only negative for apartment 12 is there is no lift in the building. So be prepared for lugging your luggage up 4 flights(69 steps) up and down. Good cardio though

Ideally situated at the foot of Jacob's Ladder in the centre of the town. Just a short stroll to the many pubs and restaurants and very walkable (5 minutes) from the main ferry port and train station. For the more energetic, Jacob's Ladder takes you to the foot of McCaig'sTower which gives amazing views over the town and out to the islands of Kerrera, Mull and Lismore.

Nothing to dislike.

Excellent location ,everything needed fir a short stay

No lift

Clean and tidy and well located

The stairs! To be on the 4th floor with no lift is crazy in this day and age especially for older clientele. The bed was too small (just a large) should be extra large, we aren’t big but it definitely spoiled our sleep. The bed also creaks so when you turn over you get wakened up. The bathroom door squeaks so again if you get up during the night everyone is awake. These issues need to be addressed but other than that we enjoyed it…. Well my wife did more than me!…. Just giving truthful feedback.
