Amazing view, quiet and comfort on the edge of the historical city

The view from the balcony is amazing. A very spacious and clean bathroom. The staff is extremely nice. The location is perfect, you can park on site, it is quiet and with a 15-minute walk you are in the center of the historical city. The breakfast served in the morning is decent, and you can enjoy it on a wonderful terrace.

The room was smaller than expected, and the mattress was not extremely comfortable.

A must book stay when in Perugia

The amazing view from our balcony was unforgettable. You’re treated to a view of the sunrise with layers of far off mountains and hills. We had an wonderful stay! The breakfast was so tasty and with the great weather, we thoroughly enjoyed eating on the garden. On top of that, the people were so friendly!

Great views, room, staff and breakfast and a wee hike into town.

The rooms and bathroom are really large, with great toiletries and views across the countryside towards Assisi. There was plenty of storage for clothes. Staff are great, very customer focused and more than happy to answer the most stupid of my questions. Breakfasts at 10 euros each and well worth it, they are brilliant, huge amount to choose from, all food needs covered with brilliant coffee too. It's close to the centre of town but if it's really hot, which it was when we were there - that 15 minute walk can seem like forever. We paid 10 euros for parking per night but there is plenty of space around the area to park your car for free, you just have to look for it. Perugia is a MUST visit.

There was no safe in the room to keep valuables in and so, I carried them everywhere we went. The aircon unit was quite old and took a while to really get going. There is a small wall mounted minibar, it holds two cans of juice and two small bottles of water, but it is so small that there is no way you can keep anything you bring back from town cool.

Perfect place to stay in Perugia

This is my 4th stay at Residenza il Punto and it was fantastic as always! My last stay was 5 years ago but the facilities still looks brand new. Breakfast is fantastic, the view is unbeatable, and the staff is very accommodating. It is great to stay far enough outside the city center to avoid noise and traffic but still able to walk 10 mins to the center.

Beautiful hotel just outside the city walls. Staff were exceptional. Particularly liked the balcony and outside areas. Please be aware before booking that it is approximately 20 minutes to walk to town and it is not level walking.

Clean. Breakfast was ok. Staff were helpful.

Expected a lovely view from our room and balcony. Instead we got a view of overgrown bushes, weeds, thistles, half dead plants and abandoned garden furniture. Nobody had cleaned up our balcony - the furniture was dirty and there were dead leaves everywhere. The patio next to the main entrance had metal furniture with no cushions - so very uncomfortable, plus zero shade, so impossibly hot to sit on during the day. The area with shade again had uncomfortable furniture. It was surrounded by dead plants in pots which occasionally had tired plastic flowers amongst the weeds. When we mentioned this to staff, we were told it was expensive and time consuming to water the gardens. This doesn’t seem to be a problem at other hotels in the area! The off site parking was reached by a narrow footpath blocked by brambles , forcing you to step into a very busy road on a blind bend. Breakfast was fine, but fresh bread would have been nice.

Absolutely perfect stay in Perugia

Everything - the hotel exceeded all my expectations. You have parking at the hotel, which is like 10 min away from the center of Perugia. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was massive - it was bigger than some flats! The bathroom and shower were also huge and stacked with goodies. THE VIEW is out of this world, I could sit on the balcony and just watch it for hours. Breakfast is large and you can eat outside and continue enjoying the view.

The location, the view, the cleanliness and the kindness of the staff made this place a wonderful place to visit!

The most spectacular thing about the property was the view. It was breathtaking. The actual room was absolutely adorable. The two twin beds were comfortable. The place was spotless. The products in the bathroom were of great quality.

It would’ve been nice to have an iron in the room since most travellers have wrinkled clothes in their suitcases.

incredible views from this quiet secluded hotel

the location was stunning - the view from the rooms was so beautiful and being out of the city meant it wasn’t ruined by other buildings around. The room was really comfortable, bathroom was great and everything was really clean. really friendly staff too!

Exceptional

Beautiful comfortable room with a balcony with a breathtaking view of the whole valley. With good visibility you could even see Asissi. Located just outside the city walls, so within walking distance. A great base for exploring Perugia and other nearby towns.

Amazing view from the bedroom!

The view is breathtaking! The room was spacious, bright and comfortable. The personnel were friendly and polite. The hotel is a 10-min walk from the city centre of Perugia. We enjoyed our stay very much and can recommend this hotel.

The curtains in our room were transparent, and the sun was shining very brightly since the early morning, so it was hard to stay asleep but easy to wake up. The breakfast was ok at best, but the breakfast room was very beautiful. The road to the hotel and parking are a bit tricky.

The view is magical! The rooms are very modern and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our favorite during our two weeks in Italy!
