Very short stay but everything very good.

The location was 5 min by taxi from the train station and very near to the bsu stop. The international breakfast was fresh, good and with many variants.

It was just under the escalator to get into Perugia. There was a big bed and big room.

We didn’t get what we paid for. The pictures looked really modern and we were put into the really old room. The view was of the bus station. You have to pay to use the pool and gym. I also found the staff pretty rude. Not a good stay.

Very pleasent modern hotel, friendly and good value.

Location very good only 10-15 mins walk via escalator to top of Perugia. Our room was spacious with nice bathroom facilities. Breakfast excellent.

Minimal bar area with no atmosphere. Would have liked tea/coffiee making facilities in our room.

Well located hotel for centre, quiet and clean room

The hotel location - quiet, as away from the centre, but just a short walk to escalators taking you into the town. The hotel and room was spotlessly clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. Air con was quiet and we could leave it on low overnight to keep cool (day time temperatures while we were there was in low-mid 30s so still in mid 20s during night). Soundproofing was good between rooms. They had teapots at breakfast!

Our bed was much too firm for us which meant we didn't really get a proper night's sleep which was a shame as it was quiet at night aside from occasional door banging or loud talking in the corridor when other guests came in at night. There were lots of large tables reserved for groups at breakfast and very few for couples. Would've liked the option of making a hot drink in our room but you could get hot water at the bar in reception. The cleaner changed our towels every day despite a sign saying we could reuse if we left them hanging up. Having to pay 7 euros per person per visit if you wanted to use the swimming pool. We didn't bother.

Very enjoyable 3-day stay in Perugia

We had a very enjoyable 3 night stay at Sangallo Palace. The food, both breakfast and dinner, was very good. Dinner options were good value and very local cuisine. The location is terrific, very close to the centre and beside the bus station (which has regular local buses to the main train station. Mobile escalators bring you uphill to the Upper historic centre level. Perugia is a lovely small but very historic city and with a very lively atmosphere.

Great location but not a 4 star experience in Perugia.

The location was great in the old town close to the historic sites, restaurants and local markets.

Overall, we were a little disappointed and didn't feel like this was a 4 star hotel. The rooms were satisfactory, although we were unable to figure out how the aircon system worked. The breakfast was also fairly average. We only stayed for 1 night and that was enough for us.

Spacious room, great breakfast, fantastic location for Umbria Jazz

Room was large and comfortable, with modern outlets and lighting. The air conditioning worked very well in July when we visited for the annual Umbria Jazz festival. The location was ideal for taking the escalators up into the old city center and also for taking the escalator down to the bus station to catch the bus back to Rome. The breakfast had diverse savory and sweet options.

The pool required swim caps and the hotel charged extra for swim caps, pool sandals, and towels.

A very comfortable and clean room that includes pool access and close to the beutiful old town of Perugia. . Breakfast was fastastic and we would highly recommend Sangello Palace if staying in Perugia.

The size of the pool

They charge you 2.5 euros for each towel you use for the pool , this is something I haven’t seen before in 4 stars hotels I have been in. The room was not ready at 15:00 (the check in hour) , they gave me the room two hours later at 17:00.

Friendly and helpful staff but not coming back

Many things apart from the service. The hotel is old and I could hear footfalls from upstairs all the time, kids crying in rooms around us. The bed mattress was of very low quality.
