Gorgeous hotel

Immaculate hotel with the most friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location on the doorstep of old town Perugia. Loved the complementary coffee in reception. The breakfast room was stunning and a great selection at breakfast also.

There was a bit of noise on a night but to be expected from a central location. Its a shame that the coffee in the rooms is nescafe sachets when there's such lovely coffee available in italy.

Fantastic boutique hotel!

Wonderful, professional staff who were very friendly and helpful with travel and tourism information/recommendations, both before and during our stay. It is in the perfect location right in the centre of the old town with lovely spacious rooms. Rooms have climate control and window shutters, and were very quiet. Breakfast was truly superb, served in old palazzo rooms complete with frescos and modern art. Tea/coffee/water options available in reception for guests. They very kindly upgraded us on arrival and gave us a late check out too - outstanding service! Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Location was very good, the room was very confortable and clean. The staff was very kind and helpful with our needs, even arranging for a "mini portable breakfast" since we had to leavy very early.

Central lication

Very nice location, in the heart of old city of Perugia, on main street and very close to central main square. Umbrian museum is very close. Friendly staff, helpful. Breakfast very nice, everything was enough to choose. Room was a little bit small, but very clean and bed was very well.

Very nicely renovated hotel in an historical building right at the center of Perugia. Nice staff and parking help (which needs to be organized, or you have a walk quite a lot and it's steep!

Nice location,could be more better

Location very good.Breakfast was ok,except one morning when some of the meat was rotten meat…awful.They didn’t remove it….

The internet tv cable doesn’t work,no pressure from shower.

Nice breakfast, nice staff, new rooms are not as nice as the ones of the main palazzo.

Breakfast was very good and the main Palazzo was beautiful. Unfortunately we didn't stayed there.

We were given an up grade to a bigger room and the palazzo was not as nice as the main one it was obscure and night there were children running and playing Marco Polo at 12:00 pm we could not fall as sleep until 1:30 am

Old yet modern hotel in old town

Great location in the old city. Wonderful breakfast. Fresh coffee is available 24/7 in the lobby. We were upgraded to a larger room since we stayed for 4 nights.

Construction was ongoing outside so there was no light coming through the windows.

Lovely but for people who don’t need any down time unless they’ve booked a suite

It’s a lovely hotel with fantastic staff. Super central location. But our superior rooms were no better than the regular room one of our party had. If you want an armchair or a bathrobe you need to book a suite. Everything was great quality but if you want a bit of downtime to is is not the hotel for you as there’s no lounge and in the room you have to sit on the bed. So for business travelers or energetic holiday makers maybe. Taxis seem to be an issue in Perugia - we had to get the bus from the airport as no taxis available and hotel could not help (gave us a phone number to which there was no reply). Bus stopped at bus terminal anda 15 minute walk (mainly escalators but some uphill walking) to get to the hotel. Back to airport the hotel was not able to book a taxi in advance which was a bit stressful though fine in the end - they called one and it arrived quickly, no idea why could not be reserved in advance. Breakfast delicious in a lovely breakfast room- though small so they always wanted to knew what time you’d be wanting breakfast the next day. Lovely overall, and staff were super nice; but not for everyone.

A real gem of a hotel - cannot praise it enough.

We had a wonderful stay at Locanda della Posta Boutique Hotel in Perugia and would highly recommend it. The hotel combines historic charm with modern comfort, making it a perfect choice for anyone visiting the city. The room we stayed in was generously sized, beautifully furnished, and spotlessly clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we appreciated the thoughtful details throughout that made it feel both stylish and welcoming. The bathroom was excellent – spacious, modern, and equipped with a powerful shower that was a real pleasure to use after a day of exploring the city. Breakfast was another highlight. The selection was varied and of very high quality, with plenty of fresh options to suit all tastes. It really set us up for the day and was far above the standard “continental” breakfast you often find elsewhere. What really made the stay special, though, was the staff. Every single member of the team was warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Whether it was offering advice on the best places to visit, helping with directions, or simply greeting you with a smile, their hospitality was exceptional and made me feel truly welcome. In short, Locanda della Posta Boutique Hotel is a gem in the heart of Perugia. With its spacious rooms, excellent bathrooms, great breakfast, and outstanding staff, it ticks all the boxes for a memorable stay. We would not hesitate to return on our next visit to this beautiful city.

The perfect stay for a night in Perugia

It’s a gorgeous hotel right in the heart of Perugia’s old town. The location is perfect for exploring the city on foot, with everything just steps away. The staff was absolutely lovely. They even offered us an upgrade upon arrival, which made our stay extra special. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Perugia!

Very nice rooms and very friendly staff. When you have no car then take a taxi from the airport. We also went to Assisi and Spello by taxi. There are very good restaurants nearby.

The location was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was simple, the bathroom was arwkard, trip over the toilet to get to the shower. The room had a window onto the back side of the hotel. Only had a one night stay cancelled the second night, felt like a cheap room on the dead side of the hotel, there was far better accommodation in Perugia available.

Wonderful hotel in the historic centre of Perugia, very nicely designed, great sized room and excellent bathroom with large walk in shower. Good breakfast, great choice and lots if frsh fruit. I loved it.
