There are simply not enough good things to say about this hotel. Wonderful location in the heart of beautiful Perugia. Lorenzo, Stefano and the lovely young woman at the front desk make up one of the hardest working, most pleasant and professional staffs in all of Italy. The hotel is so clean it sparkles and both the housekeeping staff and catering staff went above and beyond every day of our stay. We loved our time here at Locanda and we look forward to returning. Overall a really wonderful property, in a perfect location, with excellent staff, clean and spacious rooms, a lovely breakfast, and nearby garage parking. We'd absolutely return. However, a quick note to management regarding major roofing construction taking place directly outside our window beginning each day at 8:00a. This was never mentioned to us and absolutely should have been. Of course we recognize the hotel has no control over neighboring work, but it at least deserved some sort of notification or recognition to guests before arrival. Or perhaps an offer of a different room without men yelling to one another first thing in the morning and working literally inches from us, looking in our window. No privacy, no chance to sleep in on holiday. Management should have been honest and communicative in this instance rather than ignore it and hope we didn't care. Hopefully other guests weren't equally affected. We recommend travelers ask the hotel before booking if they can expect this same possibility as management may not be as responsible as expected for this level of boutique property.

This is an exceptional hotel which seems to have been recently renovated and is superbly decorated in every way. If you can, book a room near the roof top with a jacuzzi on the terrace. It makes for a very special treat. Very friendly service and good value considering the quality and the location. A great breakfast too.

This hotel is beautiful. We enjoyed two nights here right in the heart of Centro Perugia. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff from the point of confirming arrival details, storing bags until check in, and then there’s the breakfast. It’s sublime. Just right to start the day and great espresso as well. We could not fault this place and highly recommend to anyone searching for a little luxury for a great price.

Very clean and updated property. The staff were very professional and welcoming. Breakfast was amazing with a great selection of fresh fruit, pastries, and eggs. The dining area is literally an art museum. The shower was incredible. Everything was perfect. I would definitely stay here again.

Very helpful staff. Convenient & property was well maintained. The only issue was the air conditioning in our room was too hot & we could not regulate it. We were given a fan. Eventually after 48 hrs the air was regulated.

Beautiful central 18th Century building modernized to be a comfortable hotel. Located in the most central pedestrian street of the city with the most important attractions as well as stores and restaurants nearby. Efficient and friend staff. Delicious breakfast with fresh orange juice and fruits.

Very nice stay in Perugia - walkable to all attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially getting us to their private car park (25€ and worth it). They offered great recommendations for meals and gelato. Our room was good for a one night stay (not for people that have a lot of baggage, but im sure the hotel had larger rooms for those guests) - nice shower and towels.Enjoyed the breakfast, especially the fresh fruit, make your own waffles and water station to fill up water bottles to take on- the- go.
