If you like a big, chocolatey breakfast then this is the place for you

If you book a room here for the breakfast you will not be disappointed! It is fabulous, varied and super delicious with a never-ending selection. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well-stocked with the basics.

Rooms are a bit spartan and seem outdated and the bed was very stiff

it was our second stay after the first time was that good :-)

they need to work on the gluten free desserts in breakfast fast. our celiac daughter was very disappointed when she realized that she can't eat anything from the huge buffet table with all the chocolate. they to have a nice gluten free stand with bread and some dry cack but it is not comparable. they didn't even have a small closed Nutela or other kind of chocolate to use as a gluten free chocolate. we asked them.

Chocolate Adventure

This is a destination hotel. The main feature is the all you can eat chocolate buffet for morning breakfast . Almost everything is chocolate milk, white,dark. With some fruit and pancakes slash cereals. The rooms are decorated after the chocolate theme. The restaurant on property has excellent food as well.

The beds are very firm and pillows flat. For this reason it would be a one time adventure!

Hotel was comfortable, clean & quiet, staff helpful. Bathroom had a bath which was wonderful to soak in after a long day out!

For those without a car it’s a long hill walk to city centre. Need to get taxi up & back or use the metro bus service.

Decent place for chocolate lovers

If you’re a chocolate lover this is definitely your place- huge chocolate buffet with fondant, cakes , etc at breakfast; chocolate compliment at check-in; chocolate decorations everywhere. The hotel is 30-40 minutes walking to the historic center of Perugia - Up the hill, going down take 20 minutes. There is also a bus stop in front of the hotel, ticket could be purchased at reception. The rooms are spacious.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city however, you can easily reach the city centre / old town by bus - the stop is right in front of the hotel. Or you can take the mini metro which stops right at the train station just 10min away on foot or 3 min by bus. It is also a great location if you want to take the train to see neighbouring towns like Assisi. The staff were very nice and accommodating, especially the Italian lady at breakfast who does some really mean coffee! We arrived at 9am and was allowed to check into our room at no extra charge. We were also given chocolates on arrival and departure which was a nice touch.

The hotel needs to be refurbished as all the decor is very dated. Also the room lacks some basic necessities such as pen/ pencil and paper. The mini bar was full of supplies but there was no price list in the room. Also even though the room was very spacious there wasnt a sofa or armchair where you could relax, instead there was a spinning bike which we saw as very odd! The heating in the room is on a timer which is switched off throughout the day.

Sweet accommodation

It’s a nice chocolate themed hotel! It’s a modest stay but very clean and the best staff, friendly and supportive! They helped us with every question that we’ve had. If you are a sweet tooth you will love the breakfast 😍 composed 95% of chocolate 🍫. We personally loved the location because it isn’t in the center, this allowed us to see other parts of the city on foot or with public transportation. By the way the bus station is right in front of the hotel and train station is a 10 min walk.

We would’ve like more variety for the food at breakfast, not just sweets, but is a chocohotel so we cannot complain😋
