The room was clean. The staff were friendly

In the room, nothing worked as it should. window couldn't close. Lights did't work. curtains did not close. blinders didnt work. It was loud, worn, and uncomfortable.

Reliable, clean, comfortable, convenient hotel by the train station.

This hotel is conveniently located across the street from the train station and just next to the train station there is the wonderful mini metro that transports you up, up, up to the old historic center. So the location is ideal for those travelling by train. The reception was welcoming and helpful. The room was quiet and clean, plenty big, and had a comfortable bed. Breakfast was minimal but adequate, and there is a bakery and a minimarket next door.

A clean, basic accommodation conveniently located across from the train station.

We stayed at this property for one night and it was really ok. The location is convenient- right across from the main train station, near the major bus stop and mini-metro. Yes the property is a bit dated but our room was very clean, tidy and a good size for the four of us. The a/c worked well. Reception allowed us to store bags prior to our check in which was super helpful. We left early so did not have the breakfast. A basic but clean and convenient spot. I would stay there again if we passed through Perugia.

The shower did not drain well. We were there during the jazz festival so it may have been more expensive than usual. I felt it was a bit more expensive than it should have been.

Shower stall is old with fungus growth

Close to the Perugia train station. Friendly staff A/C worked good.

Bathroom shower stall was tiny, the corners of the showy floor were covered with black fungus. The bottom of the cheap shower curtain was dirty. I was afraid of taking a shower after being exposed to 93F summer heat. I didn’t want to be exposed to fungus. I’d ask some reimbursement.

Well located, clean, perfect for budget stays!

If you are travelling to Perugia on a budget, this is a great choice of accomodation! The location of the hotel, as a base for visiting Perugia and the region, is fantastic - 3 min to the minimetro (which in itself is so much fun), taxi stand and a train station right across the street (for travels to Assisi, Spoleto), minimarket and pharmacy dowstairs. The hotel is clean and has all you may need, though of course relative to the price and being a two star facility. The Staff is wonderful (at the 24/7 reception), very helpful. I can recommend Astor for sure!

The breakfast had only sweet treats but overall it was still fresh and tasty - but it's a matter of preference.

Quite decent for the low price, could be excellent after some ajustements.

The location is great for traveling by public transport, there is a direct connection to the city centre by the minimetro (small hint - the coffee bar in the train has very good prices and a lot of authentic character - and opens way earlier than the breakfast served by the hotel). The rooms are spacious, the shower has warm water consistently. We had a large balcony. The beds were nicer than you would expect for the price. The staff was polite, spoke good english and was avaliable at all times.

Some things in the room felt, by lack of a better word, sloppy. We had to ask for extra pillows, because we got two for a four person room (apart from that, the beds were made up tidyly, and the receptionist was super quick correcting the issue). We found a pair of old socs unther one of the beds. The curtain rails were obvoiusly mixxed up - the big window had the short rail. The shower was flimsy and seemed at risk of braking off of the wall. We have stayed in much worse rooms, but some of the issues could be prevented with minimal effort. I have a sense of wasted potential, considering the excelent location and fairly nice building.

À disappointing hotel stay. I

Location directly opposite train station and close to local bus station and also airport link bus (red) and the 'mini metro' link to town centre. Reception did provide hot water and cups to make tea. Perugia is delightful, a never delightful views of and from the historic town centre, one wonders how it has survived the centuries so we'll.

Hotel was tired and dated, light fitting by bed broken, shower door fittings defective, bathroom needs TLC. Room had a balcony which needs cleaning. View onto a roadway and office buildings. Generally the price of the room was excessive - we had rooms with breakfast included in other hilltowns for half the price of the Astor.

Pleasant Stay!

The staff were very friendly especially Abdul. They greeted us warmly when entering or before going out of the hotel. The hotel was very clean. The location is great as the train station is across the square. Amenities close by too.

The room was on the small side and lacked facilities.

Pleasant

Close to the station of Perugia (just 1 min walk), it was very clean and ideal for exploring Perugia and other cities of Umbria

There was noise from the corridors, the mattress was hard as hell and not comfortable at all.

The staff were all super accommodating and friendly; especially a young, Egyptian lad who was very chatty! The room was what you’d except; basic and clean!

Thé location is a very hilly walk from the centre, however there is multiple transport connections.

Disappointing

The staff are really nice people and they try to be helpful.

The wi-fi signal in the bedrooms is non existent and this problem was not resolved even though we spoke to three different receptionists. We ended up going down to the reception area to connect to wi-fi. The location is not safe, especially in the evenings.

Superb

Staff, especially Mr. Sahin is amasing, he is so helpfull there is minimetro near the hotel and you can reach the center in 15 minutes. metro works till 2 am. there is a minimarket, cafe and farmacia in the same building with the hotel the hotel is just 10 meter from the train station.

Struttura rimasta ferma agli anni 70, molto vecchia e poco funzionante, non attrezzata per le persone in sedia a rotelle. Tapparelle rotte, a/c non funzionante in alcune camere dove non c'è neanche l'acqua calda.cmq non sembra a norma con le regolamentazioni vigenti.

Rent ock skapligt bekväm säng. Bra läge för tågresenär.

Positivo il fatto che la reception sia aperta h24 in quanto è possibile fare il check-in in qualsiasi orario ed è possibile chiedere informazioni alla reception in ogni momento. Positivo il grande parcheggio della stazione di fronte all'hotel (anche se forse poco sicuro).

La mia esperienza in questo hotel è stata purtroppo molto deludente. La stanza è veramente datata. La coperta era insufficiente per il freddo e con una grande macchia sopra. Il bagno presentava evidenti segni di scarsa pulizia (macchie a terra). Inoltre gli infissi e le porte non non garantiscono un'adeguata insonorizzazione non garantendo il silenzio.

Camera per niente accogliente il letto singolo molto piccolo duro e scomodo luce di cortesia guasta tapparella guasta la camera ed il bagno erano freddissime in quanto la camera è ubicata all'ultimo piano ed aveva il condizionatore spento.Dopo 1 ora di utilizzo del condizionatore si è riscaldata la camera ma non il bagno in quanto mancante di riscaldamento.
