Slightly overpriced for what felt like a 'hostel' rather than a hotel.

The property owner / manager was a delight! very helpful and welcoming :-)

The stairs up to the apartment on the second floor were way more demanding with heavy luggage than we had anticipated; however, we made it up and down without too much issue - do not do this if you have any back issues or mobility challenges.... When we returned from our dinner at 10PM, we had to do a 'Houdini' magic trick to unlock what seemed like a jail entrance to get back into the property, per photos... We felt that we overpaid for our hotel stay and had spent the same amount per night at a 4-Star lovely hotel in central Rome for the preceding three nights. The assigned bathroom down the corridor was a shock, especially when going to the bathroom at midnight and seeing a older dude in just his underwear walking towards his assigned bathroom...

A safe, clean and economical overnight option in a nice part of the city

The location was very good for a cruise departure - close to the port and around many shops and restaurants. The owner/hostess is delightful. The room was spacious and clean. The property felt very safe.

The bathroom for our room was “private,” meaning it was for our use only. It was clean and lovely, but not attached to our room. It was a short walk (25 feet) down the hall - not a huge issue most of the time, but a little inconvenient. The facility is up 2 levels from the street, with no elevator.

A home away from home stay

A port city which is breathtaking. Personally, it is very much like Cape Town in South Africa. The one night stay at Alloggio Turistico was most welcoming. I want to personally thank Cherrie and Anna for the superb and comfortable accommodation. It was home away from home experience. For our next visit to Civitavecchia, this hotel will be a must. It was a real pleasure to be welcomed by these two formidable women

Fantastic location and staff. Right next to the port in lovely area.

Absolutely perfect location. Superb staff and check in. There is no reception but our host met us and ensured we knew where to go. The room was exceptionally clean and we had a lovely view out onto the street. Our host also made sure we got the transfer to the port to catch our cruise. Excellent service!!!

We had help getting our cases up and down the flights of stairs but just note that there is no lift. We were fine but if you are elderly, it's just something to note.

Perfect guesthouse in the perfect location

Port View Guesthouse had everything we needed and was in the perfect location. the room was spacious with a great view, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was large, shower was hot and our hostess Anna was gracious and beautiful. She arranged for our transportation from the airport, provided a variety of snacks and food in our room and ensured we had everything we needed and were comfortable.
