very happy with our choice to stay here, and would again if opportunity presents

location was about 1 mile from the cruise terminal, but close to several cafes and eateries. not touristry at all, nobody hawking goods or begging for customers. very friendly staff but didn't speak english, but thanks to google language we were able to communicate.

the ads we saw mentioned and had pictures of a rooftop balcony, in reality it is there but not accessible.

Simple, clean accommodations with great location.

Location was great, close to downtown shopping and restaurants. Rooms were simple, clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast consisted of pastries, juice and coffee. Small refrigerator had water, sodas and beer, which were included.

Guest House was a little hard to find. Then we noticed a sign in front of the building. There were several steps to get to the small elevator. We had to make two trips to get both us and our luggage. Unit was a little small. TV had no English channels.

Great Place in Civitavecchia

Great location for cruisers. Host went above and beyond to help us and make us feel welcomed. Nice room, very clean and comfortable. Host helped with transport to cruise ship and even offered help when we get back. Would absolutely recommend it here to stay.

great location, friendly staff. This is a small guest house with minimal common areas. Staff are super friendly and have a shuttle available to the cruise port which is supper convenient. Great choice if there to catch a cruise.

Location good. Easy to find. Not far from the train station. Water and soft drinks, tea and coffee in room.

Lovely first night in Italy

We had a wonderful night's stay at the Museum Guest House before our cruise a few weeks ago. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, even arranging our taxi for the next morning. Our room was cosy, spotless, and thoughtfully prepared. There is a nice breakfast basket left in the room, with milk and fruit juice provided! Highly recommend if you are looking for a comfortable and friendly place to stay

Great place to spend the night before your cruise.

Easy check in. Friendly staff at check in. Made arrangements for us to get to our cruise in the morning and also helped us with restaurant recommendations the night before our cruise.

The only thing I would have to say negative is the elevator is kind of small based on what we are used to, otherwise everything else was great.

Excellent

Location was perfect and the place was exceptionally clean. The manager was extremely attentive to all guests and vary aware of everything that was taking place. He went beyond managing the complex, h became our caretaker and concierge. We missed our cruise ship departure and came back to a fully booked hotel and Francesco found us another safe place to stay that was equivalent to his standards and quality of stay. Forever grateful!

Great stay would highly recommend

We had a great two nights stay before a cruise the room was very clean and comfortable with everything you needed including an in room selection of goodies for breakfast. The owner Francesco was very friendly and had all the knowledge about the local area and helped with any worries we had about getting to the ship eg. arranged transport to and from ship.

Right in centre of Civitavecchia and close and cruise port. Room was clean and cozy.

The shower was very hot and we couldn’t figure out how to make it cooler. Not a big problem though.

Museum Guest House in Civitavecchia is a perfect choice for cruise passengers! Conveniently located near the port, the rooms are clean and well-appointed with a coffee maker and a stocked fridge with breakfast essentials like bread, cookies, Nutella, yogurt, pop, and water. The owners, Francesco and staff Thomas, are extremely accommodating and helpful. We even got a nice souvenir magnet. Very thoughtful touch! Thomas even recommended a great local restaurant. It’s close to restaurants, shopping and McDonald’s is just across it. The cherry on top was the convenient van service to the port courtesy of Francesco. Ideal for pre or post-cruise stays - highly recommend!

Fantastic perfect cozy stay!!

Location location! Love it that we were very close to all happenings and was quiet as well. Minutes from free terminal shuttles to Sun Princess. Very clean & cute room for 2 with plenty of snacks, beverages, beers & in room international breakfast. Francesco & his wife were great hosts sharing great tips for area, eateries (2 complimentary drinks) & cruise ship terminals.

A great location for cruise passengers wishing to stay close to port.

Great place to stay for a short trip or pre cruise base. Owner was incredibly helpful and friendly. Bed was comfortable and bathroom modern and very clean with rainfall shower. Nearby to the train station and local neighbourhood with a choice of restaurants. Owner can arrange a taxi to the cruise port if needed.

Civitavecchia port was near to guest house, we were greeted by the owner on our arrival, who told us our room was ready, pleasant surprise, he told us about all the areas good for eating places and the property was so handy for everything.

Smart Cruiser can't be late

Snack and water included soda were available after a long flight. Clean bed and bathroom. Walking distance to the free cruise ship bus stop as Francisco explains showing on a wall map. Follow his directions where and when to check out to meet the shuttle bus. Use elevator to 2nd floor to check in.

Location to the port, very modern facility, owner was helpful, and available if needed, room was small but more than adequate, clean, daily replenishment of sodas, juices, snacks, breakfast sweets. Located steps from one of the port entrances with good nearby restaurants.
