Perfect location for the cruise port!! Wonderful and informative host that greeted us and told us all the information we needed, then let us have privacy the remainder of the trip. Everything was locked behind 3 locked doors, so we felt very safe. The room’s AC was AMAZING and much needed, and the view from the window is beautiful. The town felt very authentic, and we were the only people that spoke English in the cafe that gave us free breakfast! It was perfecto!
One thing I was especially worried about was the thin walls. With our jet lag, we were up and walking the city at 3AM, and needed to very quietly sneak out to not disturb the host’s family or other residents. We couldn’t hear anyone’s TV or anything, but the doors are very loud and the shared space sound is easily heard in the rooms. Nothing they can change, but just something to be aware of when staying.
