Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Will require hauling luggage up about 2 flights of stairs. Did not seem to have luggage drop or any checkin before 2pm. Great central location with plenty do within walking distance.

Place was Difficult to find. Host was very rude and not accommodating. as we had trouble getting there. Host was not willing to wait for us, has he had restricted check in time. Free breakfast was limited, no coffee , all pre packaged foods. Do not recommend!!

When I booked, I was unaware of the restricted check-in hours and unavailability to at least drop bags ahead of check-in. Had to schlep my bag with me to business meeting. No one answered the doorbell during posted check-in hours; a kind elderly gentleman/building tenant allowed me into the building. That could have been more problematic but worked out. Breakfast was wanting...bananas, twinkie-like high sugar treats in plastic, and hidden juice in fridge. No attendant present for breakfast to at least assist with, - literally - closeted coffee machine and other potential hot beverage items. Recommend disregarding breakfast offering altogether and just go to one of may nearby bars for very economical Italian Cornetta and coffee. Noticed the area is wired for video surveillance. In the end this place is clean, cheap and I felt very safe. Great option for passers-through looking for a place to bunk down for the night.

At first we were unsure of how to enter the property but once inside the room was clean and comfortable.

Property is dated first day no breakfast only 2 brownies, and an opend wrap with 1/2 of toast Keys are a nightmare are holdi g with a piece of wire. Attendee no friendly, the worst place i ever stayed. No recommend

The property does not look like a hotel. It is a door in a wall all by itself. You have to buzz the property on what looks like an apartment list with Stendahl being one of the options. The breakfast has no hot options. If going on a cruise it is perfectly located. Walk out the property door and walk straight. Go past the church and keep walking until you get to the gates for the port. It is about a 15 minute walk.

Hotel was clean and safe. It was central to many walkable areas. Close to port for beginning cruise. Cannot walk to port it is too far. Still must take taxi into port. Cannot Uber into port. Ubers cannot enter port. Must take taxi.

There was nothing we liked about this property. I’ve never said that before but find somewhere else. I was literally looking for another place soon after we arrived. Also, I noticed the manager attacks bad reviews so keep that in mind as the tone of the place. We were locked out and almost could not access the place for the night and they could not care less. You have one set of keys that shuts everything down if one person leaves so you can’t leave AC on if someone stays. I saw a roach in tiny kitchen. Breakfast was a joke and there were bugs flying around. You could hear everything. The location felt unsafe and trash is just thrown at door rather than to side. It may work for one night for people who require nothing or very little. I was asked if that is what a hostel is like. It wasn’t much better. We asked how to get to cruise port and forget getting help although everyone is going there. It seemed so burdensome and the answer was to go down main road. That’s it. I had to ask five times and we still couldn’t find shuttle. Sad :(

This little spot is situated in tge heart and tge exciting city of Civitavecchia. I am very pleased with its location and only issue. No elevator, no hot breakfast except for tea, coffee and some very tasting bake goods. Overall, i hope to stay here again and again if i ever have to board the ship from this location.

Was a perfect spot to stay in preparation for a cruise. Walkable to port shuttle and restaurants. Clean and comfortable. We arrive earlier than expected and host able to come sooner. Communication via Expedia app worked well.

Booked a room for three for an overnight stay. Found out a few days to my stay that I was double booked. The guest house refused to cancel one of the rooms because they were fully booked and notice was too short. They explained that if they were notified earlier they would have given it to another client. They did not know why hotels.com still had them listed as having rooms available on their site. I was bounced between them and hotels.com. Stuck with two rooms. One had a somewhat musty smell but was otherwise clean and well looked after. Rooms are just like in their pictures. Turns out there was just one other room that was occupied by another guest so that left me wondering. Coffee maker had quite a bit of lime scale and could do with some cleaning. Breakfast was fruit, pastries, yogurt as shown in their pictures. Stairs are as shown in their picture, about twenty something or so. Close to train station and short distance from shops, beach. Walking distance to cruise terminal.

Modest lodging on first floor of townhouse without a Residence sign. No lift, so bags had to be carried up a flight of darkened stairs. We were told to give an exact arrival time, which was not possible until we left Rome. Still, a nice enough stay

For future guests :) 1. Entrance is from the side street and locked. 2. Please arrive after 2pm for prompt service. 3. Carrefur minimart is about 1km away for easy shopping. 4. The guest house itself has a great renovated shower and bathroom. Bed is lovely and comfy. 5. Guest house manager/attendant is helpful - he may look stern but he's just being Italian :)
