Fun enjoyable time in an old historic city!

Great location to go for tours or shop see the old city

Little noisy at night so we had to keep the windows closed which wasn’t bad, you have heat when it is cold or AC if hot. But we did hear a thumping beat from the bar until around 1:30. We used a sound machine that we brought.

Wonderful hotel near port - great for cruisers!

This hotel was amazing! The staff was friendly and welcomed us with a drink. The room was very clean with an easy access via an elevator. The breakfast was excellent with a great variety of tasty food!!! Shuttle to port easily arranged ahead of our arrival. Highly recommend!

Overall excellent value, location and Ana.

Big surprise. Nothing special on the outside and a very small slow elevator but the room though small was very nice and comfortable. The bathroom was marble and the shower was excellent. Ana at the desk was very accommodating and personable. She deserves 5 stars . Her 8:00 PM night shift replacement was Harry? or Henry? and had an attitude and was surly. Ana was back the next morning and again was very helpful regarding transfers and luggage.

Breakfast prepared by Anna was typical Italian style…..loved it! The rooms were a little small, but spotless and couldn’t ask for more accommodating staff. Location was perfect. Restaurants, bars, entertainment, and shopping all within a very short walk. Highly recommended

Thoroughly enjoyable stay at a property in a quintessentially Italian small town

The management and staff were extremely courteous and helpful and gracious. Brimming with hospitality. The facility was clean and safe, the room was clean and comfortable with windows that opened to the street below to enjoy the small town charm. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty; more than enough food, drink and coffee. We regret that we could only spend just one night in this property and this town; I think it would be a wonderful place to base out of as you explore the surrounding area.

Nothing. We liked everything about this property and Civitavecchia. If you have seen Rome before, then do yourself a favor, and spend 2-3 days here in this town before or after your next cruise. You will find it much more relaxing and far less hectic than Rome.

We stayed overnight at this hotel on our way to a cruise. We arrived at night but were able to get into the hotel easily using the keypad. Everything was according to the instructions that we received in advance. The room and bathroom was modern and extremely clean and comfortable. We were offered a good breakfast in the morning for a nominal extra amount and the owner was so friendly. She also arranged for the shuttle to take us to the port.

A fabulous stay before our cruise

Anna and the male concierge were outstanding. First we were welcome with an Aperol Spritz (refreshing and delicious) We were given a map with great advice on where to find good restaurants, Atma and shopping. All of our questions were answered patiently and politely. The hotel arranged transportation from the airport. Our driver was on time to meet us. The hotel also arranged a shuttle to the cruise ship. Our room was very small, but modern and immaculate. We loved our experience at the hotel.

Johnny, who runs the hotel, is extremely helpful. All you need to is ask. He knows the hotel and the city. He can recommend restaurants for each neighborhood …how to find stores like electronics…..he speaks flawless English.

$200 to get from Rome airport to Civitechhia seems steep. But then the cruise company wanted $300. It’s about a half hour to 49 minutes NW of FCO Rome intl airport.

Wonderful again

Everything! Stayed before and loved it just as much this time. From the limo pick up at FCO, to checkin warm welcome and welcome cocktails, to the lovely clean quiet cool room, to the amazing location for dining out, to the impromptu music competition happening in the street before dinner, to a blissful night’s sleep, to a lovely check out and chill out lunch time beer before our limo to the cruise port. All just perfect as with last year!

The staff were super friendly and very nice they made us feel at home. They were eight and our party. They accommodated us so well with great recommendations for restaurants and where to go and see.
