Terrible, rip off.

Th facility was locked, curtains drawn, gate locked, they did not answer the doorbell, did not answer the ohone. Could not get in. When later in the day I tried to cancel the owner said it was impossible. He said I was lying. I said check your cameras if they exist. No refund.

I would stay at the La Formica again, if opportunity arises.

The room/bathroom had been refurbished, was clean and the rooms were large. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast had a great selection to choose from. I couldn’t fault the place.

A clean, comfortable, and convenient place for an overnight stay in Civitavecchia

The room was clean, comfortable, and perfect for a short stay before our cruise. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was easy. The property had a warm, welcoming atmosphere and great value for money.

The pillows were quite flat and there weren’t any extras available. The breakfast area looked nice, but all of the pastries, cheeses and cold meats were gone as we entered the breakfast room just after 8am…. there was a large group of men staying at the hotel who were clearly ravenous and got it to it all first :)

A good deal for a one night stay!

Clean room and good breakfast included. A short walk from various restaurants. Free WiFi included and some AC.

The key to get into the room was very hard to use despite multiple tries and various amounts of force. The staff was extremely kind and helpful with this issue but we were scared to lock the door in fear of getting ourselves locked in or out of the room, so we left the door unlocked a majority of the time. However, the place is behind a closed gate and is fairly small, so we were not worried about security and leaving it unlocked at all. I’m sure with more practice, this would not be something to worry about.

A great find!

Super close to the port, literally 2 minutes drive. Exceptionally clean, spacious room. Best part was the secure parking. Martina was lovely...she waited for us to arrive and made sure we had everything we needed. A great find

Small & personal. Staff very friendly. We had late check in but it was not a problem. Gave us a large bottle of water on arrival. Nice breakfast to start the day( nothing hot but that was ok with us). Alexandro(Hope I spelt it right) arranged a taxi for us in the morning to the port. Couldn’t do enough for us. Would definitely stay here again as pre cruise hotel. Close to grocery store and pizza at end of the road. Also walking distance to shuttle to ship if not much luggage.

Bed was hard but that’s just my personal dislike.

It is a nice pleasant place to stay within any access to a supermarket down the road.

The desk clerk was very helpful and helped with bags. He explained everything. It is 450m from the port where you get taken to your ship boarding location

It is hard to find and access. It is behind a locked gate and you need to use the intercom to contact the office. you get a room and gate key. Signage is not good so that is why it is hard to find. I had to ask locals for assistance to get there as my phone wasn't working.

The rooms are large and spacious. The hosts are very friendly and willing to help in anyway they can. Breakfast was simple but fresh & plentiful. Great location for the cruise port shuttle, 5 minutes walk away.

Super strategic location, literally less than a km from the ferry port. We landed very late in the night but despite that the staff waited for us to do check-in. The room was clean and we got a large water bottle for free for the night.

The street on which the property is located for a solo traveller it was a bit off putting at first however when I found the secure entrance gate all was well. The street is in an older part of town and looks a bit run down!

Price is reasonable, not too far from things, clean rooms. Its good for a night stay before cruise.

Not used to only having 1 key for 2 people. Cant go anywhere unless together. Oh theres no hot water boiler, im used to having that at other places so i can make tea. But they were friendly and did microwave water for me.

Very clean and comfortable! People were really nice and let us use the staff kitchen to cook our food. The breakfast was great and the amenities very good.
