Great B&B - perfect for pre/post cruise stay

The accommodation was very clean and modern, everything was taken care of- we even had a cold Peroni waiting in the fridge when we arrived!!... ,the host Simone and his sister were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast was of a high standard with plenty of choice to set us up for the day . Location is great, lots of choice for drinks and food, short walk to the train station and right by the port. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Its would be a bit difficult to find off the street as its a 3rd story accommodation, dont be put off by that though as its really worth it. The host was in communication with us throughout though to ensure we didnt get lost.

For the purposes of being close to the port for our cruise, this place was perfectly located. There were many good restaurants close by to choose from. The hosts were kind, thoughtful, helpful and communicative. They booked our taxi from the airport for us. The breakfast was good with a great patio view of the ocean.

Amazing apartment with wonderful

Beautifully clean apartment overlooking the seafront. The attention to detail was unbelievable and every single detail had been considered from soft drinks, water, alcohol snack even ice creams in the freezer. We ended up having the whole apartment to ourselves and the breakfast severed no the terrace was perfect!

La Marina B & B is just the absolute best we have ever stayed in

Simone our host was fantastic, he was amazing. From when we arrived To when we departed he was always happy to make sure our stay was comfortable. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. As we were the only couple there for our first night we had the whole apartment to ourselves. The amenities were great, the attention to detail was brilliant. We had everything we wanted. Even the fabulous view from the large balcony over looking the sea was breathtaking. Loved the location. It is within walking distance to great bars and restaurants and the lovely public beach is only across the street.

There is nothing that we didn’t like about this place. Everything was just wonderful.

Would stay here again!

We selected this place because it was close to the Port for our RCCL Cruise. We only needed one night, but we would stay here again. We were met by our host, and he went above and beyond, providing first-class service throughout the entire trip. He arranged a driver to collect us from the airport and helped us with our luggage when we arrived. Our 8-year-old was thrilled with all of the snacks and drinks when we arrived. This included coffee, tea, water, juices and Coca-Cola. He also made us breakfast in the morning. The views over the water are also fantastic.

Simone was so wonderful and kind he could not do more to make us feel welcome and happy mad excellent breakfast staff was so wonderful friendly clean so felt as if you were at home surprised it was a bed and breakfast we didn’t realize marina B& B was that had to share common areas with people we weren’t used too but it was fine outside terrace what a view had water coffee food always available any questions or needs simone and staff exceeded helping us thank you so much for helping us with transportation. Marina owner delightful and greeted you to make u feel welcome walking in to the location little sketchy dark and unclean but that is due to the property of the city once u get to the actual apartment it’s Heaven . Stairs with luggage till u get to property. Simone helped and met us with taxi thank u simone it was wonderful I would come back again🥰🙏🏻

Our stay was clean, fun and friendly with a beautiful view.

When I say clean and comfortable, I don’t mean just clean but literally spotless, the linens were literally pressed, like they were brand new it was so clean! The owners were so friendly, hospitable and helpful. This place is great! We would definitely stay here again and absolutely recommend this place to others. Also, order a grilled cheese for breakfast, you won’t be sorry. We could see our cruise ship from the terrace.

The neighborhood looked a little run down but ended up being pleasantly surprised that it was full of really nice people.

Perfect place to stay before or after your cruise.

Simon was on the property when we arrived. Simon assisted us to our room and showed us around the B&B. The next morning we were served an International Breakfast with variety of fruit , pastries cereal. Fresh eggs were available too. Our room was nice, clean and spacious enough for three suitcases. Nice modern bathroom. Close to train station and cruise port. Walkable to restaurants.

The Marina B&B is located along the main road In n Civitavecchia in a building that has business on the ground floor . The sign on the door can be missed .

Perfect location and very clean and comfortable room.

Loved the location/view of the ocean. That's why we choose this hotel. Breakfast was terrific and served on the terrace right outside our room. Staff were polite, helpful, and spoke perfect English. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The entrance to the property was a bit difficult to find. Once we did, we had to ring the bell and got no response. Someone passing by was kind enough to call the posted phone number and then the manager came within about 15 minutes. The first flight of stairs was a bit difficult with our luggage. After that, there was an elevator.

Perfecto!

We booked La Marina because of its proximity to the Port, perfect location for an overnight stay before catching the cruise ship. This is a lovely family run B&B. Simeone helped booked our transfer directly from the airport and met us at the kerb to show us the way to our accommodation, helping with the heavy cases. Simeone settled us in, showing us the amenities, talking us through the air-con and window blinds. Water, tea and coffee making facilities, along with wine and limoncello were free to use. The bed was comfortable with extra pillows and blankets available though not required. There was great choice for breakfast, coffee and tea, cereal, yoghurt and fruit. We opted for an omelette prepared by Simeone. Delicious! All in all, a very positive review for a very enjoyable stay.

We loved everything about the property! The location was superb with a balcony overlooking the ocean. The hosts were exceptional - friendly, kind and welcoming. Everything was spotless, and they even arranged a limo for us from the airport. Simone met us at the curb and took our luggage up. The arranged for a taxi to pick up up to take us to the ship. Wonderful people. Highly recommend!

First and foremost, Simone and Marina are so lovely - they welcomed us and helped us as we started our stay, gave most wonderful recommendation for restaurants, and provided an really amazing breakfast to kick off our days. A wonderful location, great staff and facilities.

Everything was absolutely superb. The double room with self-contained ensuite was clean, very well-presented and comfortable. The ensuite, although necessarily compact and small, was much better than others I’ve experienced. The common area was immaculate and the foods /drinks availability were excellent. We had breakfast out on the balcony overlooking the beachfront and the manager had especially sourced some Gluten free/dairy free food for me, above the usual fare of fresh fruit and well-varied continental buffet. The double room had a TV and air-conditioning, which we didn’t need. The location is absolutely excellent. There was just one hitch…on the day we arrived, there was a general public transport strike, so the taxi driver couldn’t find anywhere close to drop us off, due to the location of the entrance of La Marina, which is tucked away in a small arcade. Also, to get to the very small, old lift requires going up some stairs and around a winding hallway, so access if you have a Walker/wheelchair or more than 2 easy-to-carry pieces of luggage isn’t easy. However, I’m sure with prior notification, that the property manager or his partner, would do everything to help. Certainly, on the morning we left, they had an extra pair of hands to assist me. They’re also more than willing to organise transport to/from their B&B. All in all a very enjoyable and all too brief stay. Highly recommend this B&B!

It was close to everything. The port, restaurants, and beautiful boardwalk right across the street on the ocean. Breakfast in the morning on the shared balcony was beautiful. There was a bit of a language barrier but the owner was very sweet and helpful once we used google translate. Lol

Main complaint would be the stairs. You need to go up quite a few sets of stairs before you can use the small elevator to get to the top floor. This was not mentioned or advertised in the listing. No balcony in room which was disappointing. Also signs to find the place were not the greatest. Luckily I had googled it before we left so I had a rough idea what to look for. But I still had to ask several people where it was located in the building once we got dropped off.
