Great location

The location was perfect!

The set up, I didn’t realise on booking that it had a shared bathroom. I wasn’t sure if anyone was using the other room within the property and so didn’t feel safe not locking the door. The key was a little dodgy and I felt like it was a fire hazard, had there been a fire we couldn’t have got out quickly due to the fiddly keys, it concerned me.

It was close to the cruise port and entertainment. The beds were very comfortable.

It was hard getting into the room with the key…not sure if the mechanism is off. The bathroom is in a separate room. The shower was very confusing to work.

Great room. Nice view, close to the port.

The neighbor was out of control for well over an hour. At one point he was slamming something against the floor and it was a bit scary. The room needed a finicky key to get in and out of our room and in and out of the bathroom. There was a common space shared so a night time trip to the loo involved locking and unlocking finicky locks 8 times. Which made me wonder how to get out if the crazy guy next door lost it and decided to burn the place down. While the neighbors behavior was no fault of the owner… the lock situation is worrisome. Italians might not realize this set up is illegal in the US so it seems very odd to us.

Great location and lovely view. Company easy to deal with and very accommodating with our requests.

Noisy as no double glazing. Shower head was broken. A couch or something to sit on apart from a garden chair would have been good.

Quaint bed and breakfest style quarters with shared eating area,

Conveniently located within walking distance to port shuttle bus and restaurants. Provided espresso, cereal, yogurt, milk, various pastries, and all the silverware and dishes needed.

Had to wash our dishes by hand which makes the sanitary condition of the silverware questionable. A dishwasher would help. Also, no elevator to the apartment which made it difficult with a lot of luggage. The apartment had a spiral staircase to the bedroom making the bathroom hard to access during the night.

Convenient location for train station and cruise terminal

Great spotless property within walking distance of train station and shuttle bus to the cruise ships. Apartment number one has a private bathroom off a kitchen that is shared with apartment number two. Coffee, tea and breakfast pastries provided.

Walking to the property was difficult because GPS didn’t direct us correctly to get to the upper level where the property is located.

The location was perfect for going on a cruise.

You have to lock the door with a key when inside the room, otherwise people will walk in mistakenly thinking it’s their room. I hated this because if a fire broke out, you’d be stuck looking for a key. You share a kitchen with others and they don’t mind leaving their doors wide open while changing,lol.

Night before our cruise

Good location, proximity to port(walk 7 minutes and go to shuttle bus for the ship), restaurants just below where we had late dinner after so many hours of traveling . The rooms are good, it is an apartment with two rooms, one with bathroom en suite the other one has the bathroom outside the room. Good if you book both rooms like we did.

The bathroom for room one is outside the room not in. Also the water comes out from the shower,needs maintenance.

The location is good, close to the port which is a bonus as we were there to go on a cruise. The place is surrounded within walking distance to shops and restaurants and plenty of other activities to do in the area.

Great view and location, an unusual stay!

The location was amazing. The bed was comfortable and clean. The air con was good. The bathroom was good.

The entrance is very scruffy. Very old lift and dark dingy stairway. The shared kitchen was odd. It could be much nicer with a little bit of money spent on it and some attention to detail. It is definitely 3 stars.

Overall, a very pleasant stay!

The location was central to the main city center and bus terminal so we could just walk with our suitcases to catch the shuttle to the cruise terminal.

The kitchen cooking facilities and utensils could be improved. We had to buy a frying pan and a sharp kitchen knife to use so that we could cook a meal. We left these behind so hopefully other visitors get to use them!

Perfect for 1 night prior to a cruise

Perfect for night before our cruise. Restaurants close by and room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Easy to find

Need to mention that one of the units your bathroom is separate from the bedroom. Luckily we were sharing with family but didn’t find out till day before. Would be awkward with strangers coming in and out of the same door. Also only one of the units has a balcony. Not sure this is clear in the photos

There is NO Bathroom IN the "Deluxe Suite"!

The location. It was clean. It had an elevator. It had a balcony.

The bathroom was located OUTSIDE of the bedroom and off of the kitchen/common area. To use the bathroom, you had to leave your room, walk across the kitchen/common area, bring a large skeleton key, unlock a door, lock the door with the key, use the bathroom (with strangers in the kitchen/common area just outside the door), unlock the door with the key, relocked the door with the key, then walk back thru the kitchen/common area and into your bedroom. With strangers in the kitchen/common area making coffee, breakfast, etc. Anytime you need to use your "private bathroom" during your stay, you must repeat the above process. In the middle of the night - see the above. When you want to take a shower - see the above. If you need to brush your teeth - see the above. It was absolutely ridiculous and not what was advertised and what we booked and paid for. No where in the description of the Deluxe Balcony Room does it say this is a SHARED space with other guests and that the "private bathroom" is only private because it has a KEY! It's a bathroom off the kitchen that anyone can use if it's unlocked. When we arrived, there were no other guests so we assumed the weird arrangement was so large groups could book both rooms and have a kitchen as there was also no mention of a kitchen in the description. Since we saw no other occupants we weren't concerned - until we returned from dinner and saw a refrigerator full of food that was not ours! I contacted the owner and was basically told, too bad. The bathroom is private because you have a key. If I was traveling alone as I normally do, this would have been a much more serious issue than it already was. As a female, I was already uncomfortable walking across to use the bathroom in my nightgown but I certainly wasn't going to get fully dressed each time I had to get up to pee at night. My husband had to get dressed everything he got up at night to do the same. No privacy.

Very clean, quiet and comfortable..

Breakfast was fine, light packaged snacks but lots of cafes around to get some extra , the room was very spacious, beds were great and really comfy, the view is spectacular and relaxing to watch sitting on our balcony, the air-con was fantastic and very much needed, the kitchen was awesome, we made some lunch there for ourselves and saved a lot of money by buying some panini and mortadella etc at the supermarket. Nice to have a big fridge too.👍😊.. the location was just perfect for our needs to catch a shuttle for the ships port.. everything was great and I believe was good value..we will be back and will recommend to our friends..GRAZIE MILLE..😊

Everything was really fine, I had no problem at all, just the keys were a little tricky ..once we figured out how the keys worked it was fine.. same with the shower, took a few minutes to work it out and then it was all good.👍😊

Feels like grandma house

felt like being transported to my grandma’s house—in the best way possible! It’s incredibly cozy, full of charm, and immaculately clean. Everything in the home felt authentic and filled with character, making it a really comforting place to rest. The location is perfect, especially if you’re heading off on a cruise—it’s just minutes away from the port, which made things super convenient.

The only downside was the bed—it wasn’t very comfortable, and the sheets were quite. That said, the overall warmth and cleanliness of the place still made it a lovely stay. If you’re looking for a homey, nostalgic place to spend the night before your cruise, this is it!

The property was clean and tidy. The location was excellent for everything including shopping, sightseeing, restaurants and bars. Really close to the cruise port shuttle stop.

Maintenance is a little behind, but nothing major. There is no road access to the property so the last bit is by foot (only about 80 meters on level ground.

This is a great place to stay for a short visit to Civitavechia.

The location was excellent. The juices, milk and water were a nice touch to find in the fridge.

Showers were somewhat difficult to manage. The knob in room 1 (with the terrace) was next to impossible to turn once your hands were wet.

The perfect location for a prenight to a cruise

We loved the proximity to the cruise port, a 10 minute walk to the port gate where you catch the free shuttle that takes you to the cruise terminal and ship. That was so easy and so convenient.
