Lovely appartment. Great value for money!

I loved this large, spacious appartment! Not at all cramped like some other places I'd stayed. Could have done with longer stay there. It had a lovely, covered, balcony/terrace with chairs/table, cooker, fridge, and the host was there to give me much needed info on WIFI, and parking etc. Lovely, old-fashioned square (piazza), where it is situated. Brugnato is a lovely little village with convenient small supermarket and some useful shops and a few banks. Car parking about 100 metres away from appartment was free, and when I was there, it was not too busy and there were plenty of spaces day and night.

Again, there was no bath, despite the description of ''bath or shower''. But all other facilities were excellent. Couldn't get TV to work, but I was so busy planning ahead for my trip I wasn't really bothered. It was very hot during my stay there and found I had to shut windows at night so not to be kept awake by trivial stuff like conversations going on in the street below or from balcony above me etc. But nice that there was a powerful electric fan provided, which was much needed, even when windows were open. I couldn't find any buses or other public transport going to the nearby bigger seaside town of La Spieza, despite it showing bus stops and even a ''bus station'' on Google Maps???. I checked out bus timetables online, and discovered that the buses (if there actually were any!) were few and far between, but on my many walkabouts in Brugnato, I couldn't find any evidence of public transport. Therefore, I risked taking the car to La Spieza, and regretted it. Admittedly, it was at near rush-hour time, but La Spieza was certainly not the quiet seaside town I had envisaged. More the centre of London, only with the sea somewhere amongst it!!! So sadly, didn't get round to any serious sightseeing. Really wished I had explored Levanto and places around there on the coast, rather than wasting what little time I had for sightseeing on a hair-raising trip trying to dodge the traffic in La Spieza in a vain search for its beauty spots that I'm sure were there, somewhere! But as said also, the heat was a little too intense for me, and that was mid-September! February might have been more bearable(?)

Nice appartement for a low price, close to Cinque Terre

It was good location to visit nearby Cinque Terre, not expensive and close by. Not luxurious but a good bed, kitchen and bathroom to spend the nights for a low price. The host was friendly and very helpful. Use the address supplied, DO NOT use Google Maps as it brings you to the wrong place!! There are 3 restaurants around the corner.

It took a while to find out how the lights were working. And as everwhere in Italian houses/hotels, not too many power outlets.

Passable

It's a cute little town and the apartment rooms are in the center of it. The owner was a nice man. Even though he only spoke Italian we manged to understand one another. His daughter speaks English well.

To get inside you have to go up two stories worth of large stairs. There's no warning and we had a low mobility person with us. Outside the windows there's a bar open and making a ton of noise till 2am and church bells from the adjacent church going off starting at 7:30. Don't expect to get much sleep. The "free parking" is municipal parking a 7 minute walk away. We had to wait 30 minutes to check in. Finally the breakfast we paid for was provided at the bar previously mentioned and consists of stale pastries only; absolutely not worth the price.

The owner is a little bit of a freak.

The owner, he doesnt speak English. We had to wait for 25 minutes in front of the place in 35°. When the owner arrived he started making jokes in Italian language we did not understand. Also we had slight toughts that he was a little drunk.

Owner was really kind, gave us a gift when we arrived, the locals were really great people with plenty of stuff to do

The owner couldn't speak english, the apartments were dirty, small TV, the beds would easily break

Appartement très bien équipé, tout est compris, linge de lit, linge de toilette et de cuisine. Gel douche, liquide vaisselle et éponge fournis également. Très bien situé dans un village charmant. Parking gratuit à proximité immédiate. Prises compatibles avec chargeur français. Nombreux commerces sur place, boulangerie, primeur, restaurants, glaciers, bars...
