Comfortable place for a few nights

Comfy bed and nice bathroom not to far from train station or busy food street and right near supermarket

RUN, don't stay in this place

host was very rude, we had to meet in a different location far from the apartment to collect the keys. when asked the the host to come meet us at the main address, he asked to go to a 4 stars hotel if we want better service. room and bathroom very dirty, the towels were nasty and very smalls for two adults... don't come near this place... RUN

Terrible.

Nothing. The PowerPoint situation was not fantastic, the light switches were in confusing places. The host didn’t even greet me to check in it nearly took 2 hours to check in. It felt like a long time and I tried to ring the host which I had my call declined 4 times. If I could go bsck I would have not stayed there

Well I couldn’t figure out how to get it working and the host couldn’t answer a text message within 20 minutes so I walked up to level 4 where I got told to go which wasn’t even the right level

It's overall OK experience for 1 night...I need home cooked food for baby so everything is there to cook..so I like that

The bathroom door needs to be repaired... I was stuck there for 10 min. Luckily, my husband came in the room, so he opened... There was no AC as written in the description, but I asked for alternatives, so she gave me a fan ...it's passable experience...

DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY. quiet big room , big Appartment . ONLY she sent us to a different Appartment saying she got technical problems in my flat cinque Terre room, without any previous notice.

smelly towels and bed shits , no more covers for bed , no toilet paper, poor internet connection, black out in kitchen lights, poor amenities in the kitchen. smelly kitchen and fridge . quiet far from attraction’s.

My worst experience ever! Absolutely don't recommend.

Only the location.

Okay, gonna start from the stuff. We were traveling with a group, and we had a 1 yo baby with us. We booked the hotel the same day of arrival. We were in Roma at the moment of booking. After booking, we texted if we can have a late check in (it was mentioned from 4-10 pm.). Actually as we had to drive from Rome to La Specia about 4,5 hours, we were going to be a bit late from 10 p.m. The owner texted back that it's impossible to be late after 10 pm, then stopped replying to our messages at all. We were kindly asking to cancel the booking, as it was a non refundable one. Then we drove 160 km/h to be there before 10 pm. We did it. So, when we texted her that we're downstairs already, finally got a reply. It was the worker, who was extremely rude, asked to show cash. As he didn't speak English, I couldn't explain that we already paid for the room. Fortunately, this part was solved, they didn't charge again. Need to mention, that the worker told us to leave the key on the door and disappear from there at 10 am next morning. I've never faced such a rude behavior to the hotel guest. As for the room: there was no blanket for the 3rd bed. There was absolutely nothing in the room. No sockets (maybe just one), no mirror, and the room was too old. We got extremely disappointed.

rooms are clean.Host is accomodating .The area is so close to sea front .It is in the Center of La Spezia.Very accessible to the Center of City.😊

SHAME ON BOOKING.COM FOR REPRESENTING THIS FLAT EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE AWARE.DO NOT STAY AT MY FLAT!!!

Dirty pillows, bed covers and mildew in the shower. Big bug crawled on my bed. Dead bugs on the windowsill. Old mattress on a Creaky bed. Non functioning air conditioner. Cluttered balcony posing hazardous conditions of tripping. Previous guests sheets were left drying on the balcony. Noisy location and too far from the main shops and central train station.

This was a youth hostel, which was not described in the ad. No cool air, no wi-fi and mosquitos.

For a shared bathroom, it was surprising clean.

The guy who met us tried collecting extra cash for the room. He called it city tax which was weird since I paid online. I guess that’s the cost of doing business in this town.

Bad Experience in La Spezia

I guess the bathroom and the location were fine.

The room was insanely hot and the AC did not work (even though it showed as a feature on Booking). After talking to the person that met us, they are deliberately not fixing the AC. It was one of the worst nights of sleep of our lives. It also said it had Wi-fi on Booking and it didn't in real life. Truly a really bad experience overall.

Establishment to avoid obligatorily! SCAM! Be careful!!! During our trip with my girlfriend, we sent a reservation request for a certain time which had to be confirmed by the establishment. The establishment confirmed our reservation and then sent us a message saying that it could not accommodate us for the night reserved. We did not obtain any refund on this reservation, no telephone answers. Every time we called them they hung up on us. In addition to their notes on unsanitary conditions, I add a note for theft and fraud. Do not book this hotel!

The place is huge , in a good location,clean ,cheap, comfortable and the staff was kind

just to say something ,the staff doesn’t speak english but you manage anyway to understand eachother.

Reasonable shower.

Air conditioning didn't work. Awful sleep. Noisy with Window open, needing some cool air. Owner didn't even get back to my complaint. No WiFi. Owner also tried to put me in even worse accommodation first up without consultation.

The location.

It was not the apartment we booked on booking.com. Our room had only one bed and no toiletries. Few Small towels. Insufficient Bedding. Different location. Opposite what was advertised and what we required and booked.

horrible experience

We arrived earlier. I was trying to contact the host and ask him, if we could leave our luggage but he wasnt answering my calls. Because we didnt have anywhere to go and we wanted to use our remaining day, we went to the place. There was a guest who was calling the host for us. When we were speaking to the host and asking for the luggage he was shouting at us: "NO NO NO NO...." ( there is plenty of space to drop luggages in the lobby and we had only one small suitcase) Later when he finally arrived, his behaviour was condescending towards us. He seemed like he didnt care about his guests at all. In addition to that, the matress and the towels were smelly. The whole room had a very uncomfortable smell. We didnt feel comfortable there at all and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Location

Book this place as a very last option!!!! It was very painful for us to pay this amount of money and get this experience! When we first entered the room, it smelled horribly. Felt like the room hasn't been aired out for a very long time. Bedsheets also had the same smell on them so it wasn't pleasant to sleep in these. Pillows were bad and made our backs and necks hurt the next day. There was only one toilet/shower for 4 rooms and it was difficult to get there because someone was always using it already. No wifi - host claimed it's not working. They have a wifi device that was turned on but i feel they are just lazy to get it fixed. If we pay that much money then we would expect the wifi to work. As a tourist it's very important. No garbage bin in the room. Also the host didn't let us to put our small suitcases in the room before checking in so we had to pay additional 14€ for luggage deposit at the train station. Never had this before - if we pay that much for a room then how is it that big of a problem to leave our bags in the empty room before occupying the room ourselves..

Nothing was working. Room was not clean, barely any light, really hot and a lot of noise. Other people stepped inside our room around 4am. Really disturbing. Would not recommend at all. Only positive is the location.

The location was fair, even though 20min walking distance from the train station. It was quiet.

The room was not the one from the pictures. If you have no other choice and book last minute, this place is not a bad option, but consider it more like a private room in a hostel than airbnb/hotel room. The room was with a shared bathroom with other people who lived in the apartment. It was an old building and I believe the rest of the people were living there long-term (there was a shared kitchen too). There was an air conditioner but we didn't have the remote control and I cannot tell if it worked or not. I saw the other comments for this room only after we booked the place. I can tell the owner tried to improve some of the things the other guests complained about. Here's what was improved: 1) there was a hairdryer 2) there was toilet paper 3) we had towels (but not white ones, all different colors) 4) the owner was on time, he had to wait for us because we got 15 min late 5) he showed us how to unlock the door as it had some specifics. He was very rude to my friend on the phone, hanging up on her twice. Then I tried talking to him and he was nice to me on the phone, we managed to agree upon an arrival time (between 16h and 22h - don't expect him to make exceptions for early check-in...).

Even though kitchen and bathroom were shared, they were clean.

Check in time was until 10 pm. I messaged them that I might be 5 minutes late. They said if you arrive only 1 minute after 10 you have to find another place and there will be no refund. Hopefully, I arrived 9:59! The raditor was hot and couldn’t be turned off. We covered it with blankets to stop spreading heat! Still it was very hot and only after asking other residents we could turn it off. There was not a controller for the air conditioner in the room. Outside was also very warm. And there was construction going on outside the building, which means thieves could easily climb up to the room! Finally, after 1 hour trying we could borrow the other rooms controller for the conditioner.

Not clean, dirty, no wifi as described!!! the bed was broken, tv is not working, the light is so poor, bathroom and kitchen are dirty as well as the utensils!!

The bed sheet was not clean, I got hives on my body after sleeping in it. The cleaning lady took all my things from the bathroom because either was a shared bathroom and the host refused to take any blame.
