A nice place but the staff could make it easier for guests

Nice area, amazing views. Clean room. Very afforable. Overall no complaints when it comes to facilities - they are good.

The check in and check out process. The check in via a link is mandatory and looks like applying for a visa. Usually with check ins, i just send my ID and the staff does it for me, but here you do it yourself. And the staff told me they will report me if i don’t do it in 24 hours, which i didn’t appreciate. I took me 15 mins and the page froze twice. Too much hassle for a simple stay in my opinion.

It was great view, clean, easy self check-in. The beds were very comfortable, probably the best ones from the places I have stayed at.

A Little Gem on the Hill

This property sits on the hill. Getting there was half the fun, especially at night. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It is a beautiful location.

Excellent view of the harbour

The room was clean, and we had a mini fridge inside. We also got free coffee and tea in the morning. The location is on the hill, which gives a nice view over the La Spezia harbour.

Although there are sufficient parking spaces, we would recommend that the host keeps an eye on the parking area to ensure that guests do not occupy more than one parking space, as it happend during our stay and we had to park the car on a sloped section of the road.

Great space and location. I was recommend to friends whenever they are visiting the area.

Very good

Very nice hotel, in the outskirts of La Spezia. The staff was extremely diligent and always with a smile. Not so easily accessible if you do not have a car. Also due to the landscape, it took some effort to carry the luggage up the stairs into the room. However, overall very nice place to stay.

The view was amazing. The staff were nice, but not there very often.

The rooms had bugs every time we went in them, like bees and wasps and flies. The hotel had loud music playing until 11 pm every night right outside our room. The stairs were steep and way too many of them.

The view is very nice.

Because we had a late check in, we received some instructions in Italian. There were no English instructions, but the problem was that the address received on the instructions took us somewhere else (the gps) and the building where we supposed to stay was not in the same building with the reception area and after we were trying to find the location in the middle of the night, because it was not proper signaled in the night, when the owner came, his attitude was very rude, as if we disturbed them because we asked for instructions in English.

Nice, quiet place. We enjoyed our visit very much. Very kind service. Beautiful drive and view over La Spezia. Car needed if planning to travel around the area during the visit. Easy to reach Cinque Terre while staying a bit further away from crowded tourist location. Nice breakfast.

Amazing staff, location and wine!

Amazing staff! Valentina who works afternoons was really helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee making area in the hallway which was very welcomed! View is stunning!! Paolo has the best local wine served after 7pm and also offers pasta and pizza. As we needed a Gluten free meal, Valentina called a local restaurant and we had a meal delivered and sat outside, enjoyed the view and Paolo's wine.

Nothing, all fab! However, be aware there are lots of steps as it is on the hillside. We did have a bit of a challenge finding it as there are two buildings and the satnav took us to the one without the reception. If you get to the first building, go UP the hill and it's just on the left.

Amazing view over La Spezia from the hotel. In a very quiet area high up the hill.

10 hour check-out is a little bit early. The bedside lights are ridiculously bright. The bathroom was very small, as a tall person my legs go under the sink when sitting on the toilet 😅

Very good

The ideal base for a few days visiting the Cinque Terre, and La Spezia! We spent 3 days here, 2 visiting the Cinque Terre (the easiest train ride from La Spezia) and then one day exploring La Spezia. La Pietra provided the perfect base - but beware it is high up a steep hill just behind La Spezia town. There is a bus that runs right outside, but the times can be awkward - we ended up walking down the two mornings, and it was a gorgeous walk about 25-30 minutes to the centre of town. The view from La Pietra 1 is absolutely spectacular, overlooking La Spezia.

Be mindful if you don’t like walking that the buses have a very set timetable & a taxi will put you out €15/20. Each night we walked to the taxi rank at the train station to get home as the last bus is 8.30pm. I think it would be of benefit for the property to provide a local taxi number or have their own taxi services as it is only a 5 minute drive down to the centre of town. Due to the location of the property we had to pack a bag for the whole day as it would be too awkward to go back up and down then for dinner. The air conditioning in the room also wasn’t that great - I would find it hard to sleep during the hotter months with these conditions!

Its too out of town. no restaurant or shop nearby. If you have no car big issue. Noisy when guest going to their rooms. No elevator,no one help us to carry our luggge up .Breakfast needs to improve.
