You can't find a better place for a family holiday. The place is located near the cinque terre - about 20 minutes by car. The villa is beautiful, it looks better than the posted pictures and is very well equipped (everything you need for a great holiday). The owners Paola and Roberto are the most hospitable couple I've ever met and they are always willing to help and fulfill even unusual requests (e.g. a great dinner prepared by the chef for the whole group). I felt like in second home the entire time I was there.

Excellent stay

When we arrived at the villa, Roberto and Paola were already there to welcome us. The street towards the house is quite narrow, but Roberto helped us get the car safely into the garage. Subsequently, we had a nice chat and they gave us a tour around the house, while explaining thing relevant for our stay. Great! We stayed at Villa Paola with a family of ten persons. There was plenty of room in this great house. Everything was clean and facilities were abundant. We didn't miss anything. The village of Pignone is really nice. We very much enjoyed watching the community and having conversations with some of the villagers. The caffetteria is great for having a drink. The pizzeria and restaurant in the village are just fine. There are two (really small) shops for groceries, etc. A trip to the sea (e.g. Sestri Levante) takes about a half hour, which is nice.

Water in the shower in the basement was not draining sufficiently and WiFi sometimes went dead (but hey, who needs it in such an environment ;-))

Treasure of Pignone

This villa is a real “pearl in a shell”. You get what you pay for, an enchanting, authentic Tuscanian home. The owners Paola & Roberto are wonderful people, they welcomed and accommodated us just like if we were one big family. The house is decorated with good taste, you will be amased by the tiny details. Besides the italian feeling, it is well equipped, you find everything you need for a long holiday. We are more than happy to find this place, hope to return once.

Ideal place to switch off and relax!

Paola and Roberto are lovely and welcoming. They were available if we needed anything but other than that they left us to enjoy their beautiful house. The facilities are great - there is plenty of space in the house and just about everything you need. The pool was perfect - ideal to relax and cool down. The property is about half an hour drive from both La Spezia and Monterosso. The village of Pignone is absolutely perfect if you want to escape the tourist areas and experience life in a gorgeous Italian village. The locals are very friendly. The shop, Trattoria, pizzeria and hotel are all only a few minutes walk from the house and the owners of all of them are so welcoming and helpful.

The only air cinditioning was in the rooms in the top floor. This meant the three double bedrooms were very hot at night. The weather was unusually warm as we had a slight heat wave - had it not been for this I'm sure there would have been no problems sleeping.

Une villa pleine de charme à proximité des Cinque Terre

Paola et son mari sont très accueillants et chaleureux. Le village de Pignone est très charmant et l’accès aux villages des Cinque Terre et des plages de Levanto se fait en moins de 30 minutes. La maison est bien équipée, confortable et nous avions tout le nécessaire pour passer une très belle semaine !

L accueil de Paola et Roberto est exceptionnel, ils sont d une gentillesse incroyable. La maison est immense, magnifique et soacieuse. Équipement incroyable

La piscine mériterait d être légèrement chauffée afin de pouvoir s en servir plus agréablement surtout le matin et en soirée

Würde ich immer wieder kommen! Tolle Menschen wunderschöne Villa, am liebste wäre ich länger geblieben.

Super gemütlich und grosse Zimmer, man hat alles was man braucht. Super freundliche Familie! Einen grosses Dank an Paola und Roberto für die toller Gastfreundlichkeit. Im Dorf hat man alles was man braucht und ist man schnell überall. Die Villa ist traumhaft und werde wieder kommen.

Nur die Einfahrt ist eng mit einen Bus aber es hat alternative Parkplatz!
