a quiet house with beautiful views

This used to be the owner's family home and it's been equipped and decorated with care. It's clean and bright. We never met Paola but she kept in touch throughout our stay to ensure everything was just right. We really felt valued. The views are magnificent, the air clean, and the cinque terre walking trail close at hand. The village itself is far enough away not to be intrusive, but still needs only ten minutes to pop over for some bread or even eat in one of the restaurants. All in all, we spent a memorable few days in beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended.

This is such a beautiful location. The house sits at the top of the hill overlooking the ocean. We had a lovely rooftop patio, perfect for morning coffee. We absolutely loved our stay here. The host was incredibly accommodating and helpful. Check-in was easy, the instructions clear.

Perfect gateway

Excellent accommodation in the middle of Cinque Terre. Host very helpful gave plenty useful information and tips. Apartment spacious very nice terrace for eating outdoor and relaxing. Area very quiet without noise and confusion of village, but also very convenient. We will surely go back for a longer vacation in autumn.

Quiet oasis on the cool side of Corniglia

Quiet location, within a 3 minute walk to busy (and crowded during summer '23) Centro of Corniglia. We ate breakfast at the lovely rooftop table each morning and watched neighbors pick tomatoes on their mountainside terraced gardens. Thick walls/ceiling so one could barely hear neighboring apartment, if at all. We really appreciated coming "home" to our comfortable apartment each day.

We liked it all - only *minor* thing I could imagine was for washcloths to use in the shower to scrub the salt off of us.

Wonderful place in Corniglia

Easy check-in and great communication with the host. It was in an easy location with access to the train station and the town. We also loved how well the kitchen was stocked with all the cooking equipment we needed to prepare meals. Lovely place!

It was comfy and clean. It felt like staying with family. The view and gardens were amazing! The place we were referred to for breakfast was great!

You can’t be afraid to walk up the road if you didn’t come by car. The bus takes too long. But the place is totally worth the walk!

We have rarely stayed in such a well equipped flat. Please keep in mind that you are living in a nature park and try to save water especially in summer. By the way: The quality of the water ist good, no need for plastic bottles. Pls seperate your waste. Containers for waste separation can also be found in the village or at the train station. Nice location in Corniglia, the terrace area was very nice. It was nice having a washing machine. Kitchen had everything needed for our stay.

It had a very small shower but at least it had good water pressure.

Hanging garden paradise

The apartment was beautiful and cozy with a gorgeous view. It was very easy to get to and away from all the hustle and bustle of the people. The host was very responsive and extremely helpful by sending an information packet with the reservations. The apartment had everything you needed and more. The bed was extremely comfortable. So far this was one of our favorite 😍 ❤️ ♥️ 💕 💙 💖 stays in Italy. THANK YOU !

The flat is in a beautiful location with a wonderful view from the window. The flat is nice and well equipped. Cornigila itself is an ideal starting point for exploring the Cinque Terre. Although the owners were not on site, there was very good telephone contact with them if needed. They also sent lots of information prior to arrival regarding getting to the flat, Cinque Terre trails or restaurants, which was very nice and useful.

It was okey if you don't plan to stay to much inside.

The house was well located and it was accessible ( we were with a lot of luggage and baby trolley)

We rent it for 2 couples (one of them with a baby) and the house it doesn't have 2 bedrooms. One couple was sleeping in the living room. The kitchen it was really small and for last in the booking it was many photos that it seems there are from another department that they also rent above the one we stayed. The terrace was okey, but it was not the one we saw in the photos (with the sea view)

Stunning views and peaceful

Nothing I can think of.

The house is located on the top of a hill overlooking the sea and olive/wine orchards. The view is stunning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gabriel’s home. Everyone in the village is so nice and helpful too. We loved The 🐞 Ladybug because it was quiet and not in the center of town, but a short walk to get to the bus that takes you to the train station.

Paola, the host, was really helpful and gave us great advices. There is also a parking space available, which is great! Ok location.

The appartment smelled like mildew, a lot. Everything smelled like it..blankets, pillows. The shower is also exceptionally small and has not caddy. We also got the downstairs appartment which was dark had a terrasse but didn't really look like in the picture..

A wonderful base for exploring the Cinque Terre, and for relaxing days in between.

the flat was comfortable, with really good air conditioning in the bedroom, and everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen is basic but plenty for what we wanted to cook (mostly just pasta!) and the washing machine was really useful. The hosts had made thoughtful touches such as toiletries in the bathroom, and a well stocked basics cupboard with herbs, oil, etc. The roof terrace is wonderful. Not much of a sea view from the ground apartment’s terrace, but that doesn’t matter, because the hill view is interesting too and it had a good mix of shade and sunshine in the afternoon.

This is very picky, but some of the local area information was out of date, in particular the coastal paths south of Corniglia are closed at the moment due to landslips, and having a warning about that would have been excellent. This wasn’t a problem though, we still had a great stay.

The hosts were so friendly and communicative and the location of the apartment was great, just a short walk from the village center of Corniglia. There is one bedroom with a beautiful window view of the ocean. The rest of the apartment is economic and functional. It was a perfect homebase for hiking both northward and southward of Corniglia. Lovely breakfast in the village square at Cafe Matteo, recommended by host.
