Lovely apartment, great location, very helpful owner for a great visit

We based at Bixio Suites for 2 nights and traveled by train to Cinco Terre. The location was great, close enough to the train station, the town center and free parking areas. The apartment is clean big bedrooms and an equipped kitchen. The air conditioner is great which was extremely important because we arrived during a heat wave. The shower may be on the small side but it is well compensated by the washing machine that is in there. By far, the greatest feature of Bixio Suites is the owner which communicated with us about everything from pre-arrival data to personalized recommendations on where to eat and where to park.

We lived it, best host

Very good communication. The owner Claudio made everything very easy with check in instructions with videos, clear easy to follow map to property and entry procedure. Extras such as water, juice, snacks and cofee. Great location. Claudio made good recommendations for restaurants and activities. A+++. The best. Easy access to great restaurants, boat rental, train to Cinque Terre and Levanti for fun bike ride through old train passage.

Wonderful experience in La Spezia, with a good location

Our host Claudia gave us all the necessary instructions to enter the apartment. She was attentive to our questions at all times, responding in a matter of minutes. The apartment is beautiful. We had a snack and coffee upon our arrival. It's clean and in a good location.

I liked everything, nothing negative to report, I recommend this apartment to anyone visiting La Spezia for a couple of days. Close to Train Station and Close to restaurants.

Very enjoyable stay with easy access to Cinque Terre and food, shopping.

Nice room very near to the Central train station, perfect for our stay, which is to visit Cinque Terre via train. Also close to the main shopping street and restaurants. Host provided very clear checkin instructions which included videos. Also provided very comprehensive links to restaurants, supermarkets. cafes, which we tried and found to be excellent.

Not in our case, but if you have heavy luggage, you will need to lug it over a flight of stairs. There is an elevator but will need an additional key to use.

A wonderful stay at Bixio!

The host, Claudio was amazing and made our check in very easy with his instructions. He gave us tips for the area as well. The hotel is located very close to the train station and close to the piazza. The room was spacious and super comfortable and most importantly, clean!! Claudio provided us with free snacks and juices as well! The facilities in the room were excellent - there's a Nespresso coffee machine and kettle provided.

The shower didn't drain very well but it was not a big deal to us tbh.

This was the perfect place to stay!

This was a fantastic place to stay! The location is steps away from dining and shopping in La Spezia and a short train ride to all 5 villages of Cinque Terre. The room was super clean, modern and was equipped with everything you could need or want. They also provided coffee, juice, snacks. We were in need of an umbrella and they were quick to provide one for us. Claudio was very accommodating, gave us great recommendations and links for dinner and train tickets. This was a 10/10 in my book. Would stay here again for sure!

A beautiful apartment in a convenient location.

What a beautiful little apartment! Claudio and Fabiola have done a wonderful job making this a comfortable, relaxing spot and they really make you feel welcome. The apartment was bigger than we expected and had a bedroom, and lounge/dining room and a bathroom. It was beautifully decorated. The location is about 3-5 mins walk from the station and similar distance to restaurants and shops. As a base to explore the Cinque Terre, it was perfect.

Beautiful stay in Bixio

The host was amazing and so was the apartment Claudio was available to answer questions and give advice prior to us arriving - via email On arrival we were greeted and the unit and location of facilities was explained They gave advice on restaurants and we had a sensational meal at Antica Osteria in la spezia We cooked another night which was so easy in a well equipped kitchen The location is close to the station which worked well for us and had nearby supermarkets The hosts checked in each day on what's app and was able to provide suggestions on anything we required We absolutely loved our stay here and would recommend this apartment

Amazing stay all around. Claudio was so helpful at check in and throughout our stay. The room was spacious, well equipped, very clean and nicely decorated. Amazing location close to the station and the centre of town but very quiet at night. Loved it!

Fantastic apartment for family or group of friends

The property manager, Claudio met with us at the address and the agreed time. The train station is 5 minutes away and for days when we commuted to Cinque Terre it was super easy. M Claudio was super helpful and was in touch in us regularly to enquire if we need anything during our stay. We were pleasantly surprised to find complimentary food staples - biscuits, crackers, cakes and cold water in the apartment. He also forwarded links to restaurants. The apartment is equipped with all necessary utilities. However, the highlight for us was the traditional Italian clothes line between buildings. We felt like locals and loved it! Our stay in La Spezia was without a fault. Thank you, Claudio.

Best Location to stay if you are visiting Cinque Terre

Location to train station is excellent i.e 3 min walk from the apartment and 5min walk to the centre of town. Plus point to be so near the station especially if you have to go in and out of the station to visit the villages (Cinque Terre). Apartment was really clean and you have all the things you need in the apartment. The host Claudio made it memorable and his recommendations on food were great. He was kind to give us some food and drinks. I would highly recommend this apartment as a base for those visiting Cinque Terre.

One of the best apartments we have stayed in. Close to La Spezia train station. Claudio is an great and extremely helpful host. He even kept our luggage so that we could go for the cinque terre hike as we arrived early. Can only recommend to stay here and enjoy his hospitality. We are definitely going to come back and stay here again.

Great location, nice apartment.

The location was great, very close to La Spezia Central Station, where we took the train to Cinque Terre. We preferred to stay at La Spezia, in order to have a larger apartment and take 10-25 minutes train to visit the other towns. Also the apartment was few minutes walk from good restaurants and cafes. The host was very attentive. I travelled with my wife and son and the apartment was great. Two bedrooms with air conditioning, everything working fine. if you travel by car, there are free parking about 10 minutes walking from the apartment.

The property was newly renovated and very clean and very well equipped!! Claudio met us on the sidewalk, showed us to the room and gave us many good tips about the surrounding area. The room had everything you could need…a coffee machine that made an excellent espresso, a small fridge, an iron , and best of all a really comfortable bed. The bathroom was very modern, with strong water pressure and plenty of hot water. It was literally less than a five minute walk to the train station and a short walk to many restaurants and coffee shops.

We love everything about our stay here. The location was perfect. Steps away to the main square and central station. The apartment was very clean and spotless, modern and very comfortable. All amenities including snacks, fruits, drinks (juices and water), full-set toiletries were provided. From the beginning to the end of our journey were very memorable for us. The team really treated us well, even asking us if anything was needed for our pet dog. Claudio came all the way to where we parked and try to help us with our luggages and even gave us additional advices and information to our questions. We felt really comfortable staying there. Wish we could stay longer! We stayed at a few accommodation here in Italy and this place was by far on point and really exceeded our expectation in every way. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place in la spezia.

Highly Recommend, Clean, location, and very accommodating host Claudio.

The Bixio Suites was centrally located to train, cinque terre, harbor, the square and lots of restaurants. The apartment was very clean and had everything you need. Claudio was amazingly kind from the start and helped us with all the details. Even with a dentist. It was very easy to walk to everything that we needed. I highly recommend the Bixio. I can’t wait to come back.
