a cute apartment that needs a little love

Amazing view from the small balcony. Nice photographs on the walls.

Grumpy staff who charged us to leave our luggage in their shop for 3 hours after checkout. Moderate cleanliness. One broken table and one entirely too large one for the wonderful little balcony. No amenties for cooking (olive oil, vinegar, pepper, sugar, coffee….).

Great little apartment in the centre of Manarola. Very comfortable beds and good airconditioning. Clean and tidy. Nice to have a little balcony/patio.

Heel leuk om te verblijven in dit charmante dorpje. Superfijne behulpzame host.

Goed bed. Je kon de luiken dichtdoen, waardoor de slaapkamer goed donker was. Wij sliepen met de luiken dicht en de ramen open zodat je de zee kon horen. Mooi uitzicht vanaf het balkon. Compleet en schoon appartement. Wij hadden ook een garage gehuurd. Supergoed geregeld.

Alles was prima. Aanrader.

Excellent!

The property is in a amazing location. With a great view over the entire town of Manarola, the terrace was a major highlight for us. It was the perfect place to relax with an aperol spritz after a long day exploring the Cinque Terre. While the apartment was not the most modern, the facilities were all very clean, and the bed was comfortable.

There wasn’t much to dislike! Only thing to note is there are a lot of stairs to access the property.

Die Lage von App. Arbarola ist super - unmittelbar am Kirchturm, dh nur 50m bis zur zugemieteten Garage am Ortseingang (ein Muss, wenn man mit Auto anreist). Von dort geht’s steil runter in das Touristen-/Fischerdörfchen. Die per WhatsApp geteilte Anfahrtsbeschreibung in Wort und Bild war sehr gut. Die von Arbaspaa vorgeschlagene Bootstour war teuer aber total klasse!!

Die vorhandene effiziente Klimaanlage der Wohnung ist im unteren Geschoss der Maisonette-Wohnung und kühlt nur dort. In der oberen Etage unter dem Dach stehen beim Bett nur mobile Ventilatoren die für etwas Luftbewegung sorgen bzw. Entfeuchter (die wir nicht zum Funktionieren gebracht haben). Das Klima in Cinqueterre Ende Juni war tropisch feucht-heiß und es war daher auch Nachts sehr warm und klebrig feucht. Geschlafen haben wir daher schlecht.

On a beaucoup aimé notre séjour de 3 nuits. Néanmoins, la table d’appoint sur balcon était cassée. Pour les personnes au sommeil fragile, le logement n’est pas tellement insonorisé, on entend les voisins et les mouettes, les volets ne ferment pas

The property was at the top of the hill with a beautiful view of the water. It was clean, well stocked and in a quiet area.

Unfortunately the washing machine didn’t work but we notified them immediately and the host was so accommodating that they took our laundry for us and washed it. That was so nice of them. Unfortunately when they were trying to trouble shoot the washing machine they turned off the hot water and we had no hot water for 2 days

Great except for the incident with Hileria.

No breakfast was included. But the apartment and location were good.

When I couldn't get the WiFi to work I went to the Explora store where I met Hilaria. She was on the phone. When I told her my problem she said there was nothing she could do about it. I asker her to get someone who could. " What do you want me to do call the owner?" YES I did. She called an got an answer to replace our phone. She was angry that she had to help. At this point I let my husband deal with her. When the simple problem was fixed she told my husband " Tell your wife she doesn't need to scream at me." There was NO screaming at all. She is by far the rudest person we have met on our 24 day trip in Italy. Other than Hileria, the stay was good.

The location was great in Manarola. Off the main road so it was quiet but close to everything. There were also 2 separate bathrooms and a washing machine

The job had to be lit with a lighter which meant I kept burning my finger tips. The Wi-Fi wouldn’t work the first night and then worked fine the rest of the stay. The microwave worked intermittently. There was almost no work surface space to cook food
