a cute apartment that needs a little love

Amazing view from the small balcony. Nice photographs on the walls.

Grumpy staff who charged us to leave our luggage in their shop for 3 hours after checkout. Moderate cleanliness. One broken table and one entirely too large one for the wonderful little balcony. No amenties for cooking (olive oil, vinegar, pepper, sugar, coffee….).

Excellent!

The property is in a amazing location. With a great view over the entire town of Manarola, the terrace was a major highlight for us. It was the perfect place to relax with an aperol spritz after a long day exploring the Cinque Terre. While the apartment was not the most modern, the facilities were all very clean, and the bed was comfortable.

There wasn’t much to dislike! Only thing to note is there are a lot of stairs to access the property.

The property was at the top of the hill with a beautiful view of the water. It was clean, well stocked and in a quiet area.

Unfortunately the washing machine didn’t work but we notified them immediately and the host was so accommodating that they took our laundry for us and washed it. That was so nice of them. Unfortunately when they were trying to trouble shoot the washing machine they turned off the hot water and we had no hot water for 2 days

Very basic, plain & simple. Electrical problem, short circuit happened very often even when we were not using many appliances at any one time. Thin walls. Not a welcoming apartment.

The view! Every tourist in Manarola stops by the gate to this apartment to take a picture - and you will enjoy that view anytime during the stay!

The downstairs kitchen is a bit too humid, not a problem, but the de-humidifier may keep it cleaner.

Great except for the incident with Hileria.

No breakfast was included. But the apartment and location were good.

When I couldn't get the WiFi to work I went to the Explora store where I met Hilaria. She was on the phone. When I told her my problem she said there was nothing she could do about it. I asker her to get someone who could. " What do you want me to do call the owner?" YES I did. She called an got an answer to replace our phone. She was angry that she had to help. At this point I let my husband deal with her. When the simple problem was fixed she told my husband " Tell your wife she doesn't need to scream at me." There was NO screaming at all. She is by far the rudest person we have met on our 24 day trip in Italy. Other than Hileria, the stay was good.

The apartment location was really great. The wifi was good and the apartment had all the necessary facilities. We were able to cook a meal and feel at home. The friendly host allowed us to drop our bags off early so we could begin the hike/walks.

Pleasant

The location was great in Manarola. Off the main road so it was quiet but close to everything. There were also 2 separate bathrooms and a washing machine

The job had to be lit with a lighter which meant I kept burning my finger tips. The Wi-Fi wouldn’t work the first night and then worked fine the rest of the stay. The microwave worked intermittently. There was almost no work surface space to cook food

it was clean and spacious. we were met and accompanied to the apt. good location but a bit of an uphill walk - not bad except with luggage.

Everything else was perfect exceot for the smell (see below)

The room has a STRONG smell of moldiness. It is not aired at all and all the windows were always closed. The room was very stuffy and the smell was juat terrible and it didn't went away if you opened the windows. It's something I guess in the walls that needs to be fixed but when you sleep in a place with string smell of fungi it's also not healthy in addition to not pleasent

this is my second time staying here and I absolutely love it! the location is just amazing! you are in the middle of the

the property is in an amazing location. the best place for the value you can get. a two minute walk to the water! the kitchen is very nice and a big kitchen table. we loved the balcony to the Main Street! the WiFi is AMAZING! My husband and I travel and work and we were both working with video calls and it worked perfectly!

we didn’t like that the stairs were so steep. the handrail on the stairs is a rope so if you have a hard time with stairs this is not the place for you.
