Stunning view, relaxed place to hang out with friends

Wow the view was amazing! The terrace was also incredible and we really enjoyed the time we had there. I just wish we could’ve stayed longer.

It is important to be prepared to climb some stairs up to get to the place. I recommend to use backpacks, I ahd a wheeled suitcase and it was terrible to get it up the stairs. I think there was no WiFi at the property which was advertised, we never got the password.

Poor maintenance, missing kitchen needs, disappointing stay in Manarola

The view was great, the beds were comfortable.

This was sold as a 2 bedroom apartment however the kitchen facilities were terrible, few glasses and only one for wine. Electric jug but no accessible power point for it, same for microwave. Cutlery and bottle openers were either missing or broken. No bowls for eating from or serving. Shower outlet was broken and leaking, basin tap completely loose from basin, skirting boards falling off, trims around kitchen benches and cupboards loose, water-damaged and falling off. Wi-fi password wasn't provided with check-in info and host did not respond to messages requesting this. All in all, quite disappointed with our stay here.

Stunning Views

The view from the bedroom room balcony is amazing. We got some great sunset photos. Also, handy for the trails to Riomaggiore and Corniglia. A good price for the area.

Good location good bedrooms one with lovely balcony but let down by terrace furniture

Location / view over the town and sea

The terrace was shown on booking.com as having 4 sun loungers. The reality was all the sun loungers were broken and heaped up in the corner along with broken chairs etc - this was unacceptable. There were 2 wobbly tables and 3 stable chairs.

The location and view was exceptional! Could not have asked for a better view and the 2 bedroom apartment was great!

If this apartment had an aircon it would be absolutely perfect! It was very hot without one so that would be my only critique! The wifi also did not work which was a bit frustrating.

A perfect spot with spectacular views from the windows and outdoor deck.

The location was perfect and we loved the outdoor deck with a spectacular view. It was a cozy place just perfect for the 4 of us. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic view. Flexible regarding checking in and leaving our bags at the apartment before it was cleaned. Always quick communication in case of any questions. Very helpful guide how to reach the property shared by the owner.

Best view ever.

The view was absolutely amazing. I spent hours every day on that balcony. The restaurant next door does take away food, so it was nice to grab great pasta and come and sit on my own balcony with my own wine. The apartment was clean, tidy and comfortable.

The shower tap needs to be fixed as the temperature of the water did not line up with the stickers on the tap.

The apartment was very clean and well maintained. The view was awesome and the balcony was a great place to have a wine and relax. The owner was wonderful, nothing was a problem and met us on our arrival. Will definitely be coming back again.

Virkelig charmerende sted. Og vi havde et fantastisk ophold.

Fantastisk beliggenhed i toppen af Manarola med en smuk udsigt. Der er stejlt at gå fra bunden af byen, men vi syntes det var det hele værd. Man kommer væk fra de mange turister og der er en anden ro deroppe - selvom man stadig kan høre summen af liv fra byen. Og så var Elena som vært hurtig til at svare beskeder (på WhatsApp) også da vi fik låst os selv ude af lejligheden og havde akut brug for hjælp.

Lejligheden er ældre af dato, men helt udmærket. En grundig hovedrengøring af køkken kunne dog være tiltrængt i skuffer og skabe og over emhætte. Møblerne på fællesterrassen trænger til udskiftning, både borde og solsenge - også så mængden af møbler svarer til de lejligheder der er tilknyttet.

L’état général nécessite révision. La plomberie de la douche à revoir flexible à changer joint robinet d’arrêt à remplacer . Chambre lampe table de nuit sans prise. Cuisine pas de prise sur le plan de travail. Micro onde non connecté bouilloire à brancher au sol robinet de l’évier en sursis. Matériel de terrasse hors d’usage voir photos. Aérateur du restaurant ( trattoria dal Billy) contre la terrasse très bruyant ( voir photo). Enfin absence de réponse d’élena aux questions légitimes liées à l’ambiguïté de son descriptif .

Une véritable arnaque. Il est regrettable que Booking continue de référencer ce type de logement parmi ses offres.

L’emplacement

Malgré ma demande, le mot de passe du wifi ne m’a jamais été communiqué. Les photos présentées sur Booking sont très éloignées de la réalité. L’état de la terrasse est à la fois déplorable et dangereux : deux barres métalliques d’environ 40 cm de haut sortent du sol, sur lesquelles ont été posées deux vieilles chaises cassées, censées prévenir les accidents. Cette terrasse sert en réalité de dépôt pour les vieux meubles des appartements. Actuellement, on y trouve plusieurs chaises usées et une vieille planche utilisée comme assise. L’entretien de l’appartement est très sommaire. Il y a très peu de prises électriques, et elles sont mal placées. Par exemple, pour utiliser le micro-ondes, il faut débrancher le réfrigérateur. L’appartement ne dispose d’aucune climatisation (ce qui est inacceptable à plus de 250 € la nuit !) et seulement d’un unique ventilateur en mauvais état de fonctionnement, rendant la chaleur étouffante, en particulier dans l’autre appartement, qui n’en possède même pas.

Un weekend molto rilassante

La posizione è bellissima, dal terrazzo c’è una vista mozzafiato. L’appartamento ha due belle camere da letto molto luminose e c’è molta tranquillità.

Mi dispiace dirlo, perché lo staff è stato molto gentile e disponibile, ma la struttura non è molto curata, pulita si, ma un po’ datata. Soprattutto la terrazza panoramica è attrezzata von mobili fatiscenti e c’è una “discarica” di sedie e sdrai rotti.
