Exceptional from start to finish

I love how clean this hotel is. Very sustainability conscious and everything was excellent and exceptional. From the reception to the rooms to the surrounding areas and the restaurant. Can’t fault them. The staff were great and I was made to feel very welcome and comfortable.

Really good but sort out the minor faults .

Housekeeping woke me up and entered the room in spite of me hanging a “ still sleeping” sign on my door . I arrived really late so needed the lie in . There was a free standing solid towel holder under the basin and I smashed my toe on it when I stood close to it to shave . It was invisible from where I was standing ! The toilet hadn’t been flushed properly when I arrived( therefore not checked ) and there was also a splodge of dirt on the bathroom wall ( not checked )

Clean room and bathroom. Really important that the toilet, bath and shower were clean and well stocked. Nice comfy towels and Bed. Good breakfast, with plenty of choice, especially for people with allergies . Friendly helpful staff! I was booked in with a hockey group and I booked an extra night privately due to finishing late. I asked to stay in the same room instead of moving rooms. I suggested that this save me moving just for one night. This would also benefit the hotel as it would save cleaning an extra room. The kind staff (male and female) expedited this with the minimum of fuss. They are to be congratulated as excellent ambassadors for your hotel. I really appreciated this. Thank you!!! Enjoyable stay.

Given that I said that I said I wanted non-allergen bedding, it would have been even better to have asked the question if I had any allergies. I have a dairy allergy, so having the standard milk options on the tea and coffee on the room tray was of no use to me. As it was, I had to get tea/coffee from downstairs to take to my room, which was a bit annoying. Perhaps adding a specific allergen question (i.e. "Do you have any allergies" and "do you require soya/oat/almond milk for your room tea and coffee"), to your booking form could be useful and make staying at your hotel truly exceptional.

Lovely modern stylish Hotel in the University Campus grounds

Ticks all the boxes and would we go back yes absolutely.

No too happy dogs are allowed into the hotel in all areas. You are asked have you any allergies when eating in the restaurant but no one asks if you are allergic or have any problems with dogs being in the hotel communal areas.

The hotel had a lovely “quality” feel to it.

My only complaint was the pricing of food in the restaurant. In particular starters and sweets seemed rather expensive. L

Perfect retreat

Fantastic location, friendly staff who went above and beyond during our stay including offering to order taxis for mine and my husband’s stay for the evenings we went out at the best local rates. I have complex food allergies which makes eating out difficult however they made the breakfast experience stress free and wonderful the food was fabulous and well worth the price. Breakfast being served till 11am weekends was a bonus as many hotels don’t this and it was a lovely treat being able to go away and sleep in before having breakfast. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, with black out curtains and was quiet over all which meant a good night sleep. The small but lovely touches such as a cold water or sparkling water tap in the foyer to be able to fill water bottles or bring water to your room and the espresso machines in the room with Nespresso pods and biscuits on offer were all noticed and appreciated.

Staff were really kind and accommodating.

The rooms need to be aired i could smell the overnight lingering smell from someone’s previous stay. There was no body lotion. I could hear peoples farting and snoring from other rooms.

Orchard Hotel, Nottingham - perfect stay for graduation events!

High quality, modern hotel. Attractive reception/lounge area. Rooms were of a very high standard. Breakfast was exceptional with everything you could think of and cooked perfectly. We were here for graduation-perfect location being on campus and within view of all events, minutes walk away..

Expensive for the dates due to graduation dates and being in December compared to its normal room rates.

Great hotel, great location

Well appointed, clean and nicely decorated room. Free parking on site, and an easy 10 minute to University Boulevard tram stop. Nottingham University campus is beautiful and peaceful, but reaching the city centre is easy by bus or tram. Front desk staff (particularly Lassad) were very friendly and professional. Very good breakfast and lovely hotel bar.

Good location

Good location for me so have stayed here multiple times. Comfortable bed, superior room this time round is much nicer than the standard double room with the extra space. Also comes with bath robe and slippers, water and a coffee machine. Courtney at reception is absolutely lovely and helpful.

Pillows slightly too small and soft for me. Showers are a bit weak.

A true gem of a hotel

A beautiful venue with lovely rooms in a tranquil setting. My room was exceptionally clean with the comfiest of beds to allow for a perfect night's sleep. The breakfast has so many choices which was absolutely delicious. All the staff I met were so friendly and helpful. I can't recommend the hotel highly enough.

The Orchard Hotel

Room: The room was amazing and decently spacious. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was, again, spacious and really nice. The lobby: The lobby was really pretty, and the food was amazing. My boyfriend and I really loved the burgers and chips. The burger was juicy in the right way, and the chips were perfectly cooked. Crispy and golden on the outside, nice and soft on the inside.

The only thing my boyfriend and I had an issue with was that we had asked for no red onions on the burgers, but still got them on the burgers. But with the amount of positives we had about our stay, it definitely outweighed this one issue.

It was a great location to explore the University. Room was very cool. Would return.

Faulty hairdryer, requested a replacement and told one would arrive, although it never did. Lamp also didn’t work in the room. Bed linen was stained.

Affordable luxury

The foyer/reception/bar of the hotel was bright airy and clean. Our room was lovely, stylish clean bright and large (thanks to a free upgrade) with a beautiful bathroom. The bed was large and comfortable
