Great location

Great staff , brilliant location next to market Square. Great choice at breakfast.

Lift from upper ground to reception, still not working. Was broken when I stayed 3weeks ago . Causes problems for getting my disabled wife in/out of the building on her mobility scooter. Needed staff member to let us out via service entrance to hotel.

Bed was comfortable

The cooked breakfast was cheap ingredients and only warm . Bar drinks are a ridiculous price and cocktails were low in content . Rooms had quite a few cosmetic issues that made them look tired . Just between our room and the lift , I could see the fire doors didnt comply and thats without proper inspections of them .

Location, clean

Hot water took ages to come. TV was one of the interactive hotel menu style. When you clicked on the Movies it said “loading” then said “application unavailable”. This clearly was a hotel wide issue effecting every room, so we were baffled as to why they hadn’t fixed it.

Convenient, good value, good night’s sleep

Large room, comfy bed. Large bathroom with deep bath and very hot water. Surprisingly very quiet given the location. Staff at Reception and dining room very good. We waited a long time for food to come from the restaurant even though we were the only diners .

Comfortable large bed, large room, good price for NYE, warm room, friendly and welcoming staff, mini fridge in room, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities in the foyer in the morning.

Smelly leak in carpark, water left in bath and ice bucket, a little mould in the bathroom on grouting and handle, yellow muck in overflow drain in bath, under bed not clean. Cold bathroom.

NYE overnight stopover

Upgraded to a suite, very spacious bedroom and lounge area.

Nottingham christmas Markets

I really like how close it was to the centre especially with the winter wonderland. The staff were super helpful and lovely and the Bar had great cocktails.

That we were unable connect our phone to the tv but that is okay considering the room is incredibly spacious and we could just play music from our phone

Shoddy and dismissive management

That my partner was projectile vomiting for 2 days after our stay. Nicola Seddon at Park Plaza Nottingham closed my complaint as it not being their fault and has took 0 responsibility.

great staff , but not worth nearly £170 for one night ., shame but flattered to deceive

shower and condiments very good , coffee very good , staff very helpful , good bar . location with car park good but should sell the closeness to carpark better .

very small bed and pretty uncomfortable , as well as the pillows. room was freeing when we arrived , albeit we did get in 1 hour early , though i always believe a 3.00 pm checking is to late.. Location for taxi and uber pick up on the one way system was a pain having to walk a distance if raining as well as then a massive loop to go back past the hotel . But that's nottinghams oneway system that simply doesnt work .

Bit disappointed

Cleanliness

Lumpy pillows, the black plastic seat with legs sticking out a real trip hazard. No grab rail for getting out of the shower. Dinner too expensive. There was a function on the Saturday night we were there and even though we were on the 9th floor we could hear the thump thump of the music.

Perfect hotel

Perfect stay at the hotel,.I did the digital key and what a game changer, no queueing at reception any more .It worked great and it was always on your phone so no need for the card .the room has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Breakfast was excellent and as a celiac they made sure there was no cross contamination by bringing me anything i asked for.

A well polished overnight stay

Good sized room and huge bed. Very clean. Bathroom was well laid out and the toughened glass sink shelf was very stylish. Breakfast was excellent and being offered 20% Chino Latino was a nice touch.

It would be nice to have some water in the room as well as tea & coffee. The car park division lines could do with a touch up and maybe some signage about parking within the bays - not on the lines.

Not worth the money, and too cold.

Great location, close to everything. Enjoyed the Espa products available for soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. Nice towels. Bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. Appreciated the tea set up and mini fridge as well.

No carpeting around the area near the bed!, it was very cold to walk on. Rooms in general were very cold. I really didn't appreciate that the hotel would randomly turn the heater off at night and early morning and also locked me out so that I couldn't get it back on. (One late night I was so cold that I had to call housekeeping to put it back on, they were very helpful). My family in the room next door had both a non-functioning heater and a broken TV. The bathroom had a broken hand held showerhead, part of the metal that was supposed to hold it together was falling apart. There was a lot of mold growth underneath the shampoo, soap and conditioner dispensers, it was really gross. The bathtub was not cleaned properly, and there was mold growing in the left front corner near the faucet in the bathtub.
