A fabulous stay

All the staff very friendly. Service was excellent. Rooms comfy and clean

The only thing that could be improved is that you had to run the cold water tap over the sink for 5 minutes before it came warm. The shower was also not warm enough and couldn’t be altered

Pleasantly surprised.

Seemed to be recently refurbished, so in great condition and very clean. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and food in the restaurant were both very good.

Water pressure in the showers was a bit weak. It would be helpful to have some coat hooks in the entrance to the room and a couple more towel hooks in the bathroom.

Very handy for hospital visit.

This hotel provides an excellent breakfast buffet. Each section has a good selection : cold : cereals, cold meats and cheeses, fruit (whole or salads), yoghurts, pastries, toast and hot - complete range, you can also order specials from the kitchen. The nightly rate included 3 course dinner, the options were clearly marked on the menu. Nice size portions.

Second stay, very clean, comfortable and accommodating!

Room was really clean and cosy! Linens were fresh and clean! Nice mix of pillows, good tea and coffee selection, really nice shampoo, body wash and hand soap. Only criticism was the bed had a bit of a dip in it, and I’d have liked a fan in the room. Communal areas are really well thought out, accommodate work, dining and relaxation really well. Spaces were comfortable to be in, accessible for my disabled mum, convenient with water available, power points and even board games if wanted.

Main thing was having to pay a £75 deposit when I’d already paid for my stay? This felt a bit much. There was a conference and breakfast was very busy, had to queue for food, out of salmon, no hash browns, struggled getting a table.

There was no socket anywhere near a mirror to style my hair after my shower. Please, either fit a socket near the mirror or provide a hair dryer with a longer chord (clearly a man fitted this room out)

A very welcome break that went very well.

Clean & met all our needs.

If it wasn't highlighted the fee for parking should be mentioned on booking. It was a very reasonable amount. The £25 refundable deposit payable on check in wasn't mentioned and as yet has not shown on our bank statement as gone out or returned. Something small but a little surprise.

Situated next to a large Sainsburys. Modern decor. Beds comfortable.

Staff were ambivalent at best. Breakfast a distaster. All surfaces filthy - tables not set, dirty plates, napkins. Crumbs and spillages all over service area and basic items not refreshed. No sign of any staff management or allocation of roles to staff. Food cold or congealed. Football on 2 screens in the evening, distinct lack of anywhere comfortable to sit. Local area of ‘marina’ felt run down and unsafe after dark.

I felt that there should've been at least a bottle of water in the room and a face cloth, seeing as I had paid over £300 for one night.

There was a small problem at check in, we wern't told that we had to pay for the parking at check in, it was only £5 and we would have paid for it there and then but because we wern't told it caused us a problem and some worry.
