Comfy beds, room spacious. Travelling with my 15 year old son, so was relieved that we had 2 double beds! Excellent breakfast, which was great fuel for a 15 year old before a day playing hockey. Great location only a short journey to the hockey centre.
I was quite surprised that I had to pay for parking. I think that parking should be free for hotel guests, other hotels that I looked at were cheaper and parking was free.

No reception staff to check in. Waiting for 10 mins. Charged £5 for parking which is scandalous. Staff very vague on charging me a security deposit. Said £25 but room was £80 on the booking site but he charged me £110 claiming the room was £82 which still equates to £28. Not helpful at all. Room description said king size bed but it was a normal double. Very inadequate lighting in the room had to keep turning a small spotlight to where I needed to see to read. Very limited teas and coffees. Not what I expect from a holiday inn at all.
