Overall a great experience

Perfect location Set near beautiful lakes Has all the amenities you could possibly need all within walking distance. The spa is amazing such a cosy vibe after 7pm without screaming kids then finally adults get to enjoy it! Could do with staying open later though. Ice bath is an amazing touch. Staff are friendly and helpful Bed is comfortable Good value for money i highly recommend and i will be returning.

The spa could do with staying open later and the gym should be 24 hours. The food in the restrant isnt great tbh not that fresh and chips are nasty. Check out time should be 12 not 11. The interior lay out is confusing.

Choice and quality of food for breakfast was very good. Area around the bar and evening food are excellent

Rooms could be cleaned more regularly and updated, there was a gap around the window frame that allowed a lot of cold air and noise through. Rooms are quite dark, better lighting would be nice

Nice hotel, but the spa was full of kids both days

The hotel is lovely the room was very clean and the bed comfortable

We booked as it said spa hotel , both days the pool was just so full of children, couldn’t relax as there was just kids having swimming lessons and of course having a time with there family’s , but if I had known that it would of been full of children to the point you couldnt swim a length , I would not have come in I relax at this spa hotel also had room service once we decided to leave the pool as it was so noisy ! We ordered loaded chips and it came with one spoon of chilli on ? And they were £9 ! And the chips where not cooked and some still raw

clean comfy bed

Room was far from reception. up and down and up stairs. there was a wedding on so the corridors were loud until 3am. people knocking on doors. the walls of the room are to thin. I could hear people having sex upstairs! I could hear people talking next door at 2am the mattress topper did not fit the bed. no plug sockets for phone charger by the bed. no coat hook for coat by the door area.

very helpful staff on arrival, clean room, room temp was nice and warm, comfy bed, good tea and coffee facility, bathroom clean, room very spacious.

someone had booked into one of our rooms before we had arrived, the staff didn't know how, so they had to find me another room, this made me start stressing as we were on a time schedule and i then didn't have very long to get ready to leave for a works event. Sat waiting for a room to be ready for me. This ruined my evening a little. The lights in the room could have been brighter or had the facility to make them brighter, you could only see properly in the bathroom mirror.

A great stay all in all with a comfortable clean bed. Waking up to nice coffee in the room was a bonus!.

The window had been left open so it was very cold when we arrived and took a while to warm up. And Mould in the bathroom was slightly off putting

Still a great stay for families, especially the indoor pool for kids and gym facilities.

The stay was really good. Loved the breakfast and my kids and I enjoyed the indoor pool facility, especially since cold outside.

Smelly toilet as we entered the room for the first time. Smelled like the drainage or sewer (room 502), like there was no water seal in drains or toilet to seal off the smells from drainage or sewer line. Was not strong but distracting. Closing the toilet door contained the smell within the toilet.

All in all a Great stay, lovely room & excellent pool

Spotless clean room, very comfortable bed and very friendly staff

Our room was really far away and we got lost. The vending machine near our room was out of order and we were unable to get any water ( or soft drinks) late at night and the room was too far anywhere to nip and get some from the car. The portion size of the sharing platter in the bar & grill were not big enough for two, my partner was still hungry

Very nice room. Comfortable bed. Excellent pool facilities. Gym looked good too, although not used on this visit. Breakfast good. Starbucks service good.

There was a slight noise of traffic heard through the window at nighttime. (Sorry….. have very sensitive hearing and it doesn’t take much to keep me awake). The bathroom could have had the towel hooks a little nearer the actual shower. The facade of the hotel could perhaps do with a spruce up in places.

Was given an accessible room over looking a skip Asked to move. Next room was very worn. Lightbulbs out. Bed sheets mottled with dark blotches. Next to a generator. I was here to attend a job interview. Not a good relaxing stay.

Parking was difficult. I don't know whether there was an event on but people were driving around and around the car park looking for spaces Bar area was dominated by big screens showing US sport Bar and food area merged making just having a drink difficult

Our room was the furthest from reception with faulty air conditioning.. left our room at 1:30am reception never asked if anything was ok he didn’t even get up from the sofa he was sitting with others
