Good for a short stay and public transport access to the city centre

Walking distance (flat) of some very good pubs (Crown and Victoria) and of the railway station and the tram/bus interchange for travel into Nottingham City Centre (where we went for a gig). Quiet road although it does need repair. Although there is no breakfast option, Wetherspoons is also in walking distance. On site parking. Comfortable bed.

Parking/manouvering space would be very tight if you have a large car. Bathroom door didn't stay closed. While OK for us, some people may find the stairs too steep.

Comfortable stay in quiet location.

Good communication from Gareth before arrival. Nice, quiet location. Good to have a fridge in the room and access to shared kitchen area with microwave.

I have an SMax so found the parking quite tight. Stairs are quite steep.

I liked having a fridge and microwave to keep own food fresh and to have the ability to make own breakfast. The bed was really comfortable. Neighbours leaving early in the morning was a bit noisy due to thin wall. Limited choice on TV no smart Tv features. Great little en-suite. Would stay here again. Very clean, cosy room. Great off road parking minus additional parking costs. Near the train station for access to Nottingham.

Some of the decor looked a bit tired, peeling paper on ceiling.

Good basic room with kitchenette outside which was handy.

Stained carpets, dust and cobwebs. Not particularly comfortable bed.

Convenient, excellent value, comfortable. Good communication, easy check in and out. Had everything needed for short stay & in good working order. Fridge, kettle, tea coffee, tv. Comfortable bed & linen, table chairs. Ample power points, mirrors & storage. Very clean.

Good communication, very clean. Comfortable bed. Room equipped with desk, chair, kettle, coffee/tea, fan and een a fridge. Shared kitchenette with microwave. Spacious bathroom. Quiet street with a good chance of on road parking along side the 3-4 bays at the property (which requires some careful maneuvering

Nothing id worry about. Desk chair was a bit uncomfortable and as I spent some time working from the room that was a bit more noticeable, but nothing that I will prevent me from rebooking.

A great one night stay and I will definitely stay again when I am visiting my daughter at Uni

The room was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The bedding was nice quality, a plus would have been a cotton sheet as it was far too warm for a quilt but I like a cover. A fan in the room was lovely as it was very warm weather. A kettle and drink making items, Faith in Nature shower gel was a lovely surprise. A little kitchenette on the top floor, with a microwave and drink making facilities. Bowls plates and cutlery all in the cupboard, communal iron and irtoning board on the stairwell. Gareth's number was in lots of places and he can be contacted at any time (not onsite). Thanks Gareth. I didn't use the public transport but it all seemed very near and easy to get around if you don't have a car.

The stairs are steep not a problem for me but may affect others unable to climb steep stairs. Car parking was tight and made more difficult as another inconsiderate guest parked to the line edge giving me 6 inches between the other car and the wall. The low wall next to the parking made it tricky to manoeuvre into the space

Very good place to stay and close to all transport and amenities

Very close to the station and trams, which was Excellent. Newly carpeted throughout and very clean. While no staff on site apart from the daily cleaner, you had everything that you could need.

A very reasonable and comfortable stay.

The guest house is well-placed for Beeston - a short walk from the railway station, the town centre shops and cafes, and also the Victoria Hotel, adjacent to the station, where we have our AGM in June. So with some off-street parking and, if needed, parking on-street nearby, it's just about the right place to be.

Really, apart from being in a room on the top floor, there's very little to comment on. The shower/toilet was a little cramped, but that was no great hardship!

Really handy location for the Victoria hotel and Beeston town centre. Also only one stop to Nottingham on the train or you can use the tram

Pleasant weekend visit to Nottingham

Perfect location for our sports weekend near by. Walking distance to Beeston high street where there were interesting shops and good range of eateries. We did also enjoy exploring the canal/lock and Heritage cafe, boat house cafe and David Attenborough nature reserve. Manager & house keeper were helpful and accommodating for our needs. Thank you

Definitely a good value room. Shame about the bed but maybe a different room would have more comfortable.

Good location for my purpose with off-street parking space. Host was very welcoming. Room was clean and bright with a nice en-suite shower room. Great that there was a fridge & microwave, plus a kettle with tea & coffee and milk sachets.

Not so great was the bed which was much too hard for me and therefore I had an uncomfortable nights sleep. I had the downstairs room which although was on a quiet road, I could hear anyone when they came in or out of the guesthouse as the room is right next to the front door.

Just what we wanted, where we wanted it.

Friendly host and free parking in convenient location for our purposes. General environmentally friendly vibe (products/storage etc.) was good. Kitchenette and access to second kitchenette was very useful.

Comfortable and good value.

The accommodation was clean and comfortable and very good value. It was ideal for our visit to family nearby. No breakfast is provided but there were facilities (crockery, cutlery, microwave) for making your own, while the room had a kettle and a small fridge. We didn't meet any staff while there but communication with regard to letting ourselves in was excellent and we could make contact if we needed it. The guest house is a short walk from the centre of Beeston and from the Station, tram and bus stops. It was great to have off-street parking.

We were in a pleasant room on the top floor which meant going up some steep flights of stairs - something to be aware of if you have mobility problems. The kitchenette is also on the top floor.

Good location but will stay somewhere else next time

In a good location

Stairs were far too steep! Didn’t help that my wife’s asthmatic. The wardrobe had a funny smell inside, the bathroom also had a funny smell after the shower had been used. The shower was that hot even on the coolest setting I couldn’t shower properly. The toilet doesn’t flush properly

Close to the train station and only a short walk into town. Clean room and comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff. Stayed here for Splendour Festival which was easy to get to using public transport.
