Did not stay as i could not get up the stairs to the room that they had for me

Payed for a room which i could not get to as it was on the top floor and i am 81 and could not get up the stairs as I struggle to get up steps

Very useful communal fridge on the landing, which is free to use. There is plenty of tea and coffee in the room. Comfortable bed and good shower. Very homely feel and extremely clean.

There is nothing to dislike. Obviously, no breakfast but very close to town, so it's not a problem at all.

It’s an old house so you can hear a lot through the walls. I could hear the person in the room next to me use the bathroom constantly through the night! Nothing that can be done about that and overall a minor inconvenience really

The room was big and the shower was very big i usually struggle and parking on property was a bonus and Tara was very polite and helpful .

This hotel was amazing tastefully decorated comfy and spotlessly clean room was excellent included loads of appreciated extras like hairdryer bath mats toiletries etc loved everything about this pristine hotel best one weve ever stayed in and we have stayed in plenty brill brill brill thankyou

Location, size of room, quietness.

1.No manned reception. 2. Was not informed re hotel parking facilities nor warned about parking on the road opposite, hence ended parking across the road and getting a parking ticket of £50. 3. Bathroom sink did not have mixer taps, and should be a must. 4: Shower could be better. 5. No fans provided in sveltering summer. The one (that allegedly remained in error in the room) was full of dust, an absolute no-no for asthmatics. 6. There is no sea view from room as advertised, you have to imagine it being there somewhere.

Despite my bathroom experience, I would still strongly recommend this hotel.

Everything we needed. Clean, pleasant room with a sea view. The link to D H Lawrence was very interesting.

My room was not en-suite. Although my allocated bathroom was massive, trying to lock and unlock doors quietly at 3am was very difficult.

The host was really welcoming. The room was Seaview. I had a separate bathroom just for me, and that was a reasonable good size. Everywhere was clean. I couldn't fault my stay

Great hotel, well worth a visit

Lovely hotel in a great location just a short walk from centre. Accomodation was clean, comfortable and shower was nice and hot. Our room was at the front of the hotel with a lovely veranda giving us a sea view and a sunny place to enjoy a morning coffee. The owner of the hotel was lovely and very helpful during our stay. We would definately recommend this hotel to couples and friends.

Tara was very welcoming on arrival offerings a nothing is to much attitude, the room had a very comfortable 4 Poster bed with a Sea View and very clean and fresh.

Unfortunately the Hotel doesn't offer any form of food or Bar, though there are many, many available establishments within a very short walk from the Hotel, so this wasn't really an issue 😕
