Best B&B I’ve ever stayed in

Pride weekend

Best hotel we have stopped in alison and john go the extra mile to make you feel very welcome, comfortable, you've got everything you need in the room with the extra supplies (toothbrushes, mouthwash, comb etc) breakfast is amazing and they've got so much choice to choose from.

Going home and possibly some black out curtains or eye mask as it was abit bright early in the morning but other than that it's been perfect

Room was smaller than expected and did not live up to photos and description on booking.com Room 8 ...don't be fooled ...seating area was a stool and to get a futon in would require health and safety to come out ..we could only just walk around bed !!

Star Hotel in Skegness

It was a lovely holiday home in the sunshine of skeg Vagas.. staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very comfortable with an en suite. There's plenty of storage space and a super comfortable bed. A lovely breakfast available with multiple choice of dishes and, most importantly, a pet friendly service. The owners of this property have gone above and beyond to provide the best holiday for the customers. A fridge, toiletries, a safe, hair dryer, even a super soft bath robe. This is a place that I will certainly recommend for a lovely holiday home. A five minute walk from the centre and beach.

There was nothing I didn't like. Even though it had scaffolding around the front and workmen on the property at the moment. Which I Perhaps could have been warned about .

I'm impressed with how the room was prepared and how everything was provided, like toothbrushes, coffee, tea, and mugs, as well as the many treats for breakfast and the surprises for the child at breakfast. I'm so happy.

Very good, would return

The room had teas, coffee, milk etc, toiletries and lots of extra little extras, toothbrush , sachets of toothpaste, mouthwash, tweezers, nail brush, shoe shine. Said continental breakfast but was so much more, cereal, porridge, breakfast bars, yogurts, fruit, bread and rolls and hot sausages, beans and tomatoes.

Bathroom small, not anything they can do about this, sink is tiny and had to be careful as bit glass shelf above, and head an inch away from sink when using the toilet

Clean rooms good location owners were excellent well down hope to be back

When we arrived the owner greated and showed us how everything worked and explained everything I thought that was very good owner we was so proud and a very nice dog bag and the we paid was well represented and a lovely idea we was treated very keep up the good work and we will be coming back we had breakfast the choices we had were very good

Fantastic homely stay

Loved the attentive to detail on making it like a home from home. Kids really loved coming down every morning to the little gifts on the dining table. Breakfast was perfect, a fantastic selection and something for everyone. Would absolutely return!

Exceptional

This place is amazing and I can't fault it at all! They have thought of everything, even down to some toiletries for emergencies such as a sewing kit, toothbrush, sun cream etc, and there are little chocolate treats left in the room and on the breakfast table. The breakfast is delicious. There is loads of choice too. The tables are allocated to each room, which is good. The single room I am in is immaculately clean, comfortable and has everything I need for a lovely stay. The basics such as a hairdryer, iron and ironing board and plenty of storage made it a home from home. The location is perfect for the local shops and the beach. Thank you for being a fabulous host and making me feel so welcome and going above and beyond for me. I will be back again very soon.

Overall our stay was excellent with perfect hosts, delicious breakfast and clean rooms.

The location was perfect and very close to everything, staff were really welcoming and friendly, the breakfast was continental but exceeded any that we’d had before elsewhere, so much choice and hot food options as well, first class and excellent value for money.

We found our double room 8 was quite cramped and not much room to move around without bumping into something, we had a separate toilet and shower room in our room but we found the toilet room was extremely small, knees were basically touching the wall when sat on toilet, it was quite uncomfortable to be able to use the toilet.

A lovely 2 nights in The Singlecote Hotel

The breakfast was well catered for. The room had everything you could think of to help the comfort of your stay, the bed was extremely comfortable, there was a fridge, mirrors, toilet rolls, hairdryer even earplugs. Very clean hotel in every way.

Brill stay, so close to everything

Just got back from a great few days here in the family room with my two girls. Two double bunk beds & a double bed, so comfy. Also decorated lovely lots of Easter touches. The fridge in the room is so handy & had cold water in ready. Kettle & plenty of cups, tea, coffee etc even washing up liquid! Even though breakfast says continental you still get hot choices, beans, sausage, tin tomatoes, boiled egg. Plenty of croissants, cereals, breads, yoghurts, flapjacks! It was more than enough & the dining room had little extras for the girls like easter chocolates & games. Such a nice touch! Thank you. Also so close to the beach & shops etc… such great value for the price.

Comfortable and compact single room. Well appointed and spotless. Breakfast catered for every imaginable taste. I would describe it as 'continental plus', as some hot food provided. Excellent!

Perfect

Absolutely everything was perfect, me and my dog went away for the first time from Monday till Friday when we arrived was greeted by the owners who were super welcoming all week. The room had everything we needed from a drinks a kettle and a fridge. The breakfast was amazing such a variety to choose from. The property is a 5min walk to the beach and main strip. The room was super clean and so was the rest of the property. Everyone who works for the Singlecote was kind and we’d have multiple conversations a day. Just absolutely perfect my dog loved it for his first holiday and they even gave him a surprise treat upon arrival. They also do their own dog treats which I brought and my dog loves them. Couldn’t recommend this property enough!!!

Nothing everything was perfect. The only thing which me and the owner was talking about was the King room which I stayed in has had a massive renovation. They are planning to update the photos of the room very soon

Great location

The hotel was accessible by foot from the train station, and close to the beach. The breakfast was great, lots of choice and lots of it. Dog friendly. Friendly staff, clean premises.

The bedroom was probably a little too small for all that was squeezed into it - a king sized mattress on a double bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe, small fridge, one chair . It might be better to have a smaller (queen) bed, combined wardrobe/drawers and a second small chair.

Friendly and welcoming hosts , nothing was too much trouble , went out of they’re way to make you feel welcome Room was clean and warm , fridge , hot drink making facilities, iron , hairdryer , tv Location was excellent within a short walking distance to the centre of town ie 1 min Breakfast was excellent Would definitely recommend and definitely Tay again
