Nothing we thought we booked a flat not a tiny room

The toilet was dirty there was cigarette burns on furniture! The door looked like it had been kicked a few times Didnt even stay and booked somewhere else

Lovely, immaculately clean!

So clean! The room was immaculate. There was a fridge and tea & coffee facilities. Shower hot. Bed comfy. Dog friendly. Location great for town centre. Check in really easy.

Difficult to park. Please bear in mind in Peak season. There is a car park on next road. Clarity on check out time. Booking.com said 9.30, property sign said 10am.

Good location but apartment was a total letdown!

Location was very good, WiFi was good! Bed was reasonably comfy!

Leaking tap in bedroom (carpet soaking) site manager came & switched off the hot water & said they'd come back the day after- NO ONE TURNED UP! we ended up with a wet carpet, NO HOT WATER & black mould on the kitchen ceiling! would NOT RECOMMEND!

The location, and they accepted dogs cooking facilities were good

It was very small, I stayed with my grandchildren so shared a bed with my grand daughter but the camp bed was poor. My grandson slept on the sofa. There was no outside lighting, I’m disabled so at night it wasn’t good for me at all. The back step was huge.

Good value especially for a dog friendly flat

The main benefits for me were that I could take my Labrador and that the location was great. Very close to the beach/lake/sand dunes for walking the dog, and close to the town centre. Plenty of free, unrestricted on street parking right outside, and a huge pay and display car park very close by. The flat had all facilities and a very good kitchen are with everything you could need, although I didn’t need much on this visit.

The decor is a bit dated especially in the communal areas. My bathroom was across a landing outside the flat, although locked and private to me. The mattress on the double bed was a little bit uncomfortable but the sofa in the lounge which converts to a bed was very comfortable.

Enjoyable

We’ve stayed a couple of times before but this time we were upgraded to a flat free of charge. Had everything we needed and liked having easy access to the garden area at the back of the property.

The toilet and the shower was in a very small space but do appreciate that it can’t be helped in a flat

The location is great, we have been there quite a few times and always had a nice flat.

This time we had an upgrade from a room only to a flat, it was one we had never been in before ,This flat we were in was sooo very very small. The bedroom was ok. We had only seen photos of the flats we had already been in before

Decent location quite central. Clean enough. Quick response when I messaged about parking.

No toilet in flat. Lock on toilet. Didn’t like having to walk across communal area in middle of night to use toilet. Didn’t realise this when I booked. Wouldn’t have booked if I’d have known. Totally spoilt the stay..

Great little room.

A lovely little room, just what we needed for a weekend away.

The website says free wi-fi but couldn't even find the wi-fi name that was on the door in the room. The bathroom was very small.

Bad place to stay

Not a thing

It was full of dust it hadn't been cleaned at all the sofa bed sheet had stains and hairs on no new sheet so did the double bed me and my son didn't sleep at all the dinner table hadn't been cleaned there was biscuits on it when we arrived there was no hot water to wash plates up I really wouldn't have stayed there and we definitely will not be going back there

Great location, only a short walk to main part of town. Room was a decent size, and had everything we needed. Cleaning staff were friendly and helpful when we saw them.

I find this question difficult as I was generally happy with everything. The only thing that could be a bit hit and miss was parking. Fortunately we managed to get a space on the road at the front of the place, where there are no restrictions, and I was able to leave it there for the duration.

Great location, 10 minutes walk from the beach. Available parking. Kitchen has all basic but necessary tools. Comfy beds and sofa bed, clean mattresses and pillows. however the folding bed was not comfy and has a broken bar. Beautiful front and back garden

Staff did not respond to communication through booking.com but they responded to direct calls Wifi is not good speed and sometimes patchy. The bathroom in the upstairs flat is located outside the flat. This was not mentioned and was not convenient.

Happy

It was a really nice place, we have used these flats before, several times, it's in a good position for all the amenities, close to the beach ⛱️, restaurants, shops funfair etc, we will definitely stay there again.

The only thing we didn't like was the bed mattress in the bedroom could do with changing, i could feel the springs through it, it's a good job the weather was warm because I had to lay on it to make it more comfortable. The bed settee was fine

HORRENDOUS

Nothing, arrives to key safe entry. Looked like a building yard

Mattresses stained, fousty smell, I know it's pet friendly but not even fit for a dog to sleep never mind adults. Looked like a builders yard, payed £55 for room additional £10 for dog we took one look and drove home. Very disappointed asked for a refund no reply.. My advise: STAY AWAY DO NOT BOOK ITS ABSOLUTELY VILE.

Holiday flats skegness

Location was very handy, short walk to all amusements and shops, and a decent area to park to. Front garden was beautiful, flowers and enviroment well looked after. Upon entering the property looked very quent and homely. No strange smells (considering they do allow pets) Free books to read to. Access to an iron (but no ironing board) Complementary biscuits and tea and coffee with uht milk. Hand wash and toilet rolls and even towls was available for us to use. Bedding was very soft and light. Shower was a nice strong shower with plenty of water pressure, very little signs of mould in bathroom too which is lovely to see.

Room 1 we stayed and there was cob webs in clear view, moths and daddy long legs, some dust around skirting boards. Cups where clean but the glasses had finger prints and smudges over both glasses. The toilet fan didn't work (or we had no idea how to make it work) WiFi code was on back of door but WiFi name was not shown when searching. The bed..think this had seen better days-even tho it's been reinforced from the look of it ..the slacks didn't seem very sturdy and it was a very rickety, that felt like it could collapse at any moment. The mattress was awful, didn't sleep well at all. You could feel either the springs or the slacks through the mattress and it left pressure pains on hips, back and neck and kept us awake most the night.

the staff gave us the wrong code to get the key so we couldn't get in, and nowhere to park whatsoever. asked for a refund or partial refund and was denied, complete waste of money for something that was no fault of our own and had to book elsewhere last minute. also i had it booked for 2 adults, a 1 year old and a newborn, they didn't tell us until the day we was on our way down that we would be stopping on a sofa bed which i think we should of been made aware of this beforehand. awful customer service would not recommend don't waste your money don't stop here

The electric shower unit is positioned outside of the shower tray, the shower tray is very small. No wash basin in the ensuite and the basin in the bedroom is barely big enough to clean your teeth in. The mattress is worn out and very uncomfortable so a poor nights sleep. The room door looks like it has been broken into and the main entrance door looks as if it has been broken into that many times it a wonder it locks at all. Cleanliness is obviously not a priority. Definitely not a place to return to.

Location was just what we wanted. Central to bars, shops, restaurants.

Bathroom across hall that we didn't know about, poor water flow from shower. Lumpy, very uncomfortable bed. Extremely noisy residents at the property. Cost of 2 night stay, expensive!

Ideal location. Approachable hosts.

The communication from the Welcome Flats, before we arrived, was exceptional. We didn't need to call Simon but another resident did and he was there to help within 5 minutes...excellent! Good for a couple of nights stay and the furry grandchildren would have been made more than welcome. Definitely dog friendly. Great location.
