The Mayfair

It was really clean, the beds were so comfy, the breakfast was absolutely delicious, location was fab. The hosts were really friendly, kind and helpful. It really exceeded my expectations

Some of the decor could do with modernisation but the hosts haven't had it long and you can tell they're putting effort in to modernise. It doesn't detract from the experience at all though!

Great location, quiet yet just a few minutes away from all the attractions. Rooms well furnished , very clean, and convenient layout - bedside lighting. & tables etc , and generous supply of tea and coffee in room on arrival. Hosts were excellent, and even suggested a ground floor room change to accommodate some mobility issues we had . Really thoughtful, and very considerate of our individual accessibility requirements, and went out of their way to accommodate our specific needs. Oh, and very good breakfast!

No lift! But the ground floor rooms were excellent in terms of anyone with mobility issues , so it honestly didn’t matter!

It’s exactly as advertise. Owners have done the best they can with the building. Clean and comfortable.

The room was specious and the service was friendly they accommodated for my daughters allergies and you couldnt really hear others moving around My daughter even said she feels like they picked up on her nervousness and made her feel comfortable with talking to them

Theirs not really much we didn't like just nitpicking items 1 being the stairs they felt awkward to manag as if it could of benefited from the banister being slightly higher and folling the wall all the way round not braking into sections The other thing is £10 a night for the dog in one way I get in another way if we wanted to book for longer I wouldn't of been able to cover the extra charge and only mentioning this after staying in a hotel that only wanted me to leave £2 to cover any extra cleaning that may be needed after a week But I definitely would consider going back to for a short stay
