Wonderful

The host made sure we had a lovely stay - which we did. On arrival they were very kind and helpful and showed us up to our room. The room was very spacious and was well equipped with everything you needed for a short stay. In the morning we were served a delicious full English breakfast with terrific hospitality by our host. It was great to have private parking at the rear of the hotel as well. Would love to stay here again - thank you!

Spacious room. Basic toiletries included. Staff very friendly. Mini fridge in room. Bottle of water and biscuits in room.

Unnecessary decor being a dust trap. Some detailed cleaning needed, a bit cold to start but warm in bed.

Good Location plenty of car park space the staff was very helpful. Greeted you when you arrived and when you left and very polite I would definitely stop there again.

Nice little place for an overnight stay

Large double room with a big bathroom with shower. Good facilities in the room with kettle, small fridge, tea, coffee, biscuits. Comfy bed. Nicely decorated room Secure place to park behind the building. Close to the front and main parts of Skegness Lovely lady who greeted me when I arrived quite late at night. Very attentive, lovely breakfast. Provided a bottle of water on leaving. Helped take suitcase upstairs Would happily stay again

Because of the dreadful bed, would not stay again.

Size of the room, also landlady was very pleasant, slight problem with her English, it was hard to communicate at times.

Only had breakfast on first morning, it was awful, didn't bother with it on following 2 mornings. The worst thing was the mattress on the bed. It was so old the springs were sticking through, I had to sleep on top of the duvet, and use our coats as blankets.

Great stay with a lovely host.

Good location, owner was welcoming and attentive, she was a great host. Breakfast was served promptly, hot and very enjoyable. The accommodation was clean and tidy, bed comfortable and water hot, room consisted of everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.

The lady who met us was extremely helpful, nice and accomodating. We did not have breakfast as we met family daily, but it did smell nice and seemed reasonably priced. Was quiet at night and beds were comfy, room was spacious and everything we needed was there. It was reasonably situated for getting into town and seafront area by foot.

Nothing really as we only really, rooms and facilities and where it was, was ideal for our visit. As we were out all day with family in the surrounding area and town.

Pleasant stay. Very helpful and pleasant lady checked me in.

Allowed me to check in early and drop my case, which was really appreciated. I was also allowed to leave my bags after checking out, so that I was able to wonder around till my train without extra luggage.

Very secure parking and great value for money accommodation.

Very secure parking round the back of the property ideal for the motorbike, gate was locked at night. Good breakfast. A lot of good little touches which improved our stay such as scissors on the table to open sauce, fluorescent strips on light switches to find in the dark. Plugs next to the bed. Fridge in room with bottled water. Great value for money.

Friendly, clean, well organised.

Lovely member of staff who dealt with me thoughout including checking on and serving breakfast. Breakfast was better than any other meal I had in Skegness. That was quite a low bar as was food in general in town was dreadful, but breakfast in Northdale genuiely was very, very nicely made.

Considering the price and standards of other hotels in Skegness, Northdale really just need to keep doing as they do and they will remain one of the better places to stay.

Fabulous, definitely recommend

The lady that owns this hotel was amazing, so welcoming. Her daughter is also an amazing young woman. We couldn't have asked for more from them, if we ever go back to skegness this is where we'll stay.

Great place to stay.

Greeted by the owner, who was very friendly and offered us a tea or coffee when she showed us to our room. Room was very clean and had little touches that set it apart from other hotels. There were 2 types of milk in the room, along with coffee, decaf and flavoured teas, a small fridge, plenty of hangers in the wardrobe, hooks behind doors, a fan and a decent size shower room. The English breakfast, although simple, was hot and tasty with toast. Tea, coffee, orange juice and cereal is available. Well worth getting to start the day.

Extremely good value for the money

Very clean spacious room and bathroom. The host was lovely and even gave us a bottle of water to take with us when we were leaving. The breakfast was excellent and very good value for 7 pounds a person. The bed was very comfortable and there was a good selection of complimentary tea and coffees and even a pack of welcome biscuits.

Lovely family run hotel ,nothing was to much trouble for them .

The breakfast are excellent,full English ,toast,cereal and juice,tea or coffee and your always asked if you want more to drink .There is kettle etc in your room .It is only a short walk to the shops beach amusement s but is in a quiet location.The hosts are so friendly and they go out there way to make sure your stay is a good one .
