It was brilliant.

Plenty of breakfast options, juice, fresh fruit, cereals, toast and full english breakfast. Very good quality food and tea a plenty. Located 5 minutes walk from seafront and 10 mins walk from railway station. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean with tea and coffee facilities replenished daily. Comfortable beds and slept really well. Owners Alan and Cathy were warm and welcoming and made our stay perfect. Alan's tips on where to eat n drink and where not to were invaluable and we took full advantage of them.

Perfect long weekend for my wife’s birthday

Breakfast was superb, Cath and Alan were perfect hosts, made us feel very welcome and part of the family. Great location, walking distance to all the attractions, bars and restaurants and well away from any noise

A lovely little 2 night stay with lovely hosts.

Cath and Alan were lovely people. Very warm & welcoming. I had my 5 Yr old Grandson with me and they made a little fuss over him. He kept asking me " Where's Alan " . He wahtedbto give them both a hug when we left. Cath gave Regan a little glass of milk for bedtime as I told her that's what I gave him at my.house. There was also a lovely little bag of sweets upon our arrival and left on our bed. Thank you. It was a nice gesture.

Nothing really. We knew in advance what to expect so there were no surprises. Perhaps consider younger guests (kids)may have smaller or larger appetites and want more or less of one item on their breakfast. Regan loves his sausages! He definitely needed two which you happily provided. However, I think this may be a problem if you are precooking them and miscalculate numbers.Luckily, I opted for a 'no sausage' breakfast so he was able to have mine. Thank you for doing this.

We highly recommend and great value for money

Ideally situated close to the town, only 5mins walk, but quiet enough to thoroughly enjoy. I shared a room with my brother, with en suite, and it was spotless. Although it was very hot at the time, the room was cooled by a ceiling fan, which was great. Breakfast was excellent. Choice of fruit juice, choice of cereals, a cooked breakfast with toast, which was spot on, and a pot of tea or coffee each. It’s the first time we had been, but you would think we had always been friends with hosts, Alan and Cathy. So friendly, and a great sense of humour. Even the other guests wre friendly. On site parking and a table and seats to sit outside and chill

Comfortable bed, ceiling fan to keep us cooler in the hot weather. Everything very clean and comfortable, if we required anything at all we only needed to ask Alan or Cath. A choice of juice cereals toast and cooked breakfast every day.

Perfect for short or longer stay, totally recommend.

The breakfast is a lovely full English breakfast, but you can have it any way you like,Alan & Cathy ask how you like it. There are other breakfasts cereals etc. They a a friendly funny couple, can't do enough for you. This is our 2nd time here. Wouldn't go anywhere else. You ate 5 min walk to arcades, beach, all the amenities. Totally recommend.

If anyone complains about staying here, they need to get a sense of humour. The place is located perfectly. Alan & Cathy lovely couple. So there's nothing not to like.

Fantastic hosts, exceptionally clean central base to enjoy Skegness, amazing place to stay.

Hosts lovely, parking fantastic and the hotel is exceptionally clean. Location is very central to attractions and makes getting around without transport a breeze. However, there are also plenty of buses running up and too to Ingoldmells etc. We chose not to have breakfast but judging by the standards I am confident it would have been superb. Despite the central location there is no traffic noise so that is a bonus. Well worth a stay.

Mattress on one bed slightly too thin for me. However, might come down to personal choice really.

Lovely room, great location, and even better owners!

Brilliant stay at the tudor lodge for me and my daughter. Spent a few days exploring Skegness and needed a comfy, quiet place to stay. Bedroom was lovely, and owners were even better! A real home from home 5 minutes walk to the parade, so didn't need our car at all, Alan even let us leave it there for a last look around at check out. Breakfast was lovely, and Alan and Cath are always on hand for whatever you need or a recommendation. Lovely clean room in a quiet road perfect for families. Would definitely go back :)
