Liz and paul were lovely hosts. The area itself was also very nice. Our room was lovely and we were only a 5 minute walk away from the pier. I would 100% recommend the hotel to my friends and family. We look forward to staying there again soon.
Shower pressure was a bit weak but it was noted the second we raised the concern, everything else was perfect.

We loved the fact that we were staying in a quaint Victorian style building.
The only thing that would deter us from staying here, and only in the hot summer months, would be that there is no air conditioning. However, it's very clear in the summary of facilities and there are fans available.

We can definitely recommend The Trelawney Hotel. The location was exactly where we wanted, close to beach, 15 minutes walk to marina. Bus stops right outside. The guest house was spotless, hosts Paul and Liz were lovely. Breakfast set you up for the day. Room was impressive. We will definitely be going back.

It was ok. Breakfast pleasant except the smell of cigarettes on staff
Stank of smoke in entrance hall and corridors despite no smoking signs. Staff obviously heavy smokers as they too smelt strongly of cigarette smoke
It was the only thing that spoilt our stay.
