We arrived by train, and the hotel is situated right on the main square in front of the station. Excellent situation. There are always security issues very near to a central station, so you have to press the buzzer to be allowed in. I didn't mind this. The room itself was of a very good size (apparently, we had been upgraded). The bathroom was a touch old fashioned but otherwise it was excellent. There was a busy weekend breakfast room, and some tables were put in the bar area in the reception area. I liked being out there as it was lighter than in the breakfast room itself. The breakfast was pretty much European standard: breads; meats; cheeses; eggs and all the sweet things you associate with breakfast. There was more than one station for coffee, meaning that refills were easy to get, and the running out of a machine did not spell disaster. There are, of course, trams nearby running into the commercial centre and cathedral. The sights are a short walk away so if you are less mobile, bear that in mind.

Not having a private parking could be a deal breaker. They do have an agreement with a parking nearby, but it's public...

Excellent room - comfortable, clean. Staff were superb. Very good breakfast. Location is very good - close to tram, train, walking to centre.

The room was good size - the window opened up to a wonderful view of a park outside the train station - the lighting in the room was good - the breakfast and the breakfast room was great - great restaurant next door.

I would like some Decaf coffee to be available as I can’t drink ordinary coffee for medical reasons. We would prefer mugs in rooms to small cups and would like some milk pods to be provided- being English we have milk in our tea. I did go to reception who kindly gave me some milk.

First of all, the staff was helpful and very kind, especially Oleksandra! They made sure that our special day for my wife's birthday was even more special. The food is more than decent and there is something for everyone. The car park is very close to the hotel, it is covered, large with an ATM and a toilet. The hotel itself is in a very good location for exploring the city. I recommend this hotel 👍

The location was very convenient and the breakfast was delicious and bountiful.

The location is excellent and I have stayed here before, for that reason. I always arrive by train and the station is directly opposite the hotel. Also, they have added the security of lockers for stored luggage, which is a nice idea.

Location is great, it is right next to the train station. Even if the hotel next to the train station area is very quiet and safe. Many thanks to Gabriella, she navigated us and told about all interesting places.

Unfortunately we had broken shower, not a big deal but it was an only negative moment within the hotel

Huge comfortable bed, bathroom with bath, shower, bidet. Super breakfast. Excellent facilities for storing luggage. Very close to station.

Not enough lighting. The shower flooded the whole bathroom as the seal was broken on the shower door.

WOW! What a wonderful establishment. We had the expected 200m walk from the station and met an exceptional receptionist Gabriel who was able to expertly convey so much information about the hotel and the town. I can't compliment her enough. Without even asking, Gabriel found us another room as we arrived early and this was an upgrade to an spectacularly huge room. This is the company's policy I found out later. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff here, who had been really well trained in superb customer service. This extended also to the staff in the breakfast resturant (the food was really tasty and plentiful and replenished right up until the end of service. Would love to return to Strasburg and stay here again.

The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast had a decent selection. The location is perfect, just across the street from the train station and only a 10 minutes walk to central Strasbourg.

Despite the few positive aspects above, this was the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a hotel. Even if you select to pay directly upon arrival, the hotel does a pre-authorization check of your card in advance. My first card did not go through for some reason, and I immediately responded to their message explaining that I had changed my card and to please let me know in advance if there were any issues. I did not hear anything further from them and my reservation remained confirmed even up until the morning of my arrival. The hotel then decided to try the second card at 12pm on the day of my arrival - while I was on the airplane! When I immediately called them to tell them that I was arriving from the airport, I was told that my room had already been canceled and there were no more rooms available; apparently they had a waiting list of people and one person was already offered my room as soon as they canceled my reservation. For the inconvenience, I was offered to stay in a room that was not nearby to this hotel. Unfortunately, this was not an acceptable solution for me because I was on a work trip with 4 other coworkers staying in this hotel, and on top of it, I am pregnant and did not need the added stress of this entire situation. I have never stayed at any place where their administration waits until the day of a person's arrival to check a card and cancel the reservation. If they had made the second attempt in advance, when I promptly changed my card and notified them of this, then I would have been more than happy to provide my husband's card or a coworker's card to ensure the reservation was not canceled. After expressing my discontent at the situation in person, they suddenly found me an available room 1 hour later. As happy as I was to not have to go somewhere else, this was honestly the most stressful and unbelievable experience and should never happen to anyone, pregnant or otherwise. Need to improve your administration skills!

the breakfest was announced as exeptional - the food was ok but a really small variety of food so we were quite disappointed, quite old furniture - the picutres on the website are not what we had
