The location was perfect. Very close to city centre and the main station. There were no amenities (tea, coffee, shower gel). The room was really simple and nice but for a shorter stay we wouldn’t recommend this hotel as you’d have to buy everything do yourself or bring your own tea/coffee.

Excellent location with breakfast included. An entire apartment including a kitchen with a pool downstairs. We were very happy!
There was nothing that we didn’t like about it. We enjoyed it very much!

Near train station and mall, you can walk the city- you don't need any transportation. The location was very good. The room was cleaned every day and beds were convenient.
Breakfast could have more options but in general terms we were satisfied by the room and location. Maybe it was a little bit pricy but it was during Christmas time.

Room- Great size but was too warm even when stat was low.
Breakfast was fresh but little choice.
Location perfect for walking into Strasbourg
Pool- it was very cold.

While check-in and check-out were fast, we decided to leave after just two nights (out of three planned), booking a four-star replacement for the final night - which was brilliant in comparison.
The staff was pleasant and helpful, offering appreciated apologies when we explained why we had to leave. However, their service couldn't compensate for the poorly implemented, outdated, and degraded infrastructure.
Ultimately, the stay ruined our holiday. For the price paid (€640 for accommodation plus €130 for breakfast/taxes over three days), a four-star hotel in Strasbourg should offer a drastically superior experience.
Both rooms we were given (the second after requesting a switch due to the poor state of the first) were significantly worn-out and did not reflect the photos on Booking.com.
Room Issues
The issues were numerous, ranging from major to minor:
- Damaged Condition: Stained carpet, a worn-out/creaking couch, and yellowed plastic covers (e.g., A/C). Curtains and wall decor looked cheap and were in poor condition.
- Poor Ventilation: Toilet and bathroom ventilation was poor or non-existent.
- Noise/Sealing: Windows did not seal properly, allowing noise from the nearby train and tram.
- Inadequate Fixtures: For a 4-person apartment, there was only one towel hook and a small radiator, resulting in towels ending up on the floor. Towels were poorly placed next to the sink.
- Outdated Tech: The TV was very old.
- Access: Key access was difficult due to a poorly lit corridor.
Common Areas & Amenities
- Corridors: Dark and covered in grey carpet.
- Elevators: Not synchronized, requiring multiple button pushes.
- Reception: Three or four tables were inconveniently placed right in front of the reception desk.
- Smell: A very strong smell of chlorine from the -1 level swimming pool was noticeable, sometimes reaching the breakfast area directly above.
Breakfast:
- The selection was limited and very basic

Friendly staff, helpful and kind !,
The pool was perfect size for a quick dip
Nothing. It met my needs on all fronts

I loved the fact the hotel was so close to the main station and the city center. Everything was walking distance and easy to find for everyone.
I found the breakfast very disappointing for a 4 stars hotel, it was with basically no variety, items were missing often, and the only person there was very stressed. The whole experience was just disappointing. I had much better breakfasts at 3 stars hotels. Also the fact they did not have a 24 hour reception was not nice.

Loved the staff, the comfort of my suite, the breakfast and the fascinating archeological dig of the ancient Roman city walls uncovered and featured in the breakfast room. Best coffee in Europe!
I had ‘do not disturb’ on my room as I have valuables and wished to keep my room locked and private.
However cleaning staff entered my room while I was exploring the city. This made me feel uncomfortable and my privacy disrespected.
The parking next door was fantastic!

The location is close to the train station and the City centre is just a short and nice walk away. The staff was also very helpful and friendly.
The pictures on booking were clearly taken some years ago when the rooms where less lived in. The layout and colours were a bit depressing. Though the room was spacious it felt neglected and not taken much care of.
It seemed like old flats were quickly converted into profitable apartments rather than a purpose built apart- hotel.

The room was reasonably large and the bathroom was clean.
The facilities were a bit dated and the swimming pool was nothing special and the sauna was not included in the price.

Room very cleverly laid out to make good use of space - perfect for a couple for a few days. Two ring hob just enough if you want to cook for yourself, small sink and dishwasher, dining table which pulled out from under the main desk, decent-sized closet and the bathroom included a bath as well as a shower. Hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from Strasbourg station. Didn't try their breakfast so can't comment on that. Pool in the basement was very welcome in the evening at the end of a hot day exploring the city. In Strasbourg, the Cathedral is a must and the view from the top of the tower is fantastic.
Could have done with either a dishwasher tablet or a small bottle of washing up liquid and a scrubber.

The room was cozy and clean. Breakfast was good. The location is very close to the main station and yet away from the crowded areas.
The closing times for the pool (currently 8pm) could have been extended. The pool was closed by the time we came back to the hotel after roaming around the city.
4.0 / 10.0
The staff was friendly and the room was big. The train station couldn't really be heard with windows closed.
It was convenient to have a little kitchen, especially for keeping things fresh in the fridge and quickly making some instant coffee after waking up, using the electric kettle.
The microwave looked clean, too.
Since it cost about 100€ per night, I have to criticize some things I wouldn't mention or expect from a ~40-50€ stay, others aren't cool for any price:
* The room was not very clean (e.g. there was dust on bedside tables).
* The hotel was quite old-fashioned: no key cards, just regular metal keys, old carpet, no smart TV, old-fashioned curtains, which easily fell off).
* Old, small TV with few channels and no Smart TV features.
* Things were broken (e.g. towel hanger broke off bathroom door since the wood was old and moist).
* Swimming pool water was very cold; colder than in an olympic / sports-focused pool.
* Sauna not only cost extra, but had to be reserved (and heated up) a day before.
* Room was not cleaned, nor sheets changed daily, just towels were changed out. (Not good if you sweat at night in summer; e.g. water stains on bathroom sink were left and not removed) On top of that, they reset the thermostat to ~18°C every day, even though I prefer it a bit warmer.
* Hair dryer old / cheap, not really working well - would need to bring your own.
* On checkout day (not sure if related though), from early morning on, there was no warm water neither in the bathroom nor the kitchen.
* Breakfast space looked small and crammed in the back of the lobby; therefore I didn't choose breakfast at the hotel.

I had no complaints 👌

Amazing and friendly staff, very clean and the location is top! Best sleep of my life!
Due to the location is a bit loud and therefore cannot sleep with the windows open. The breakfast could have a bit more variety.

I enjoyed swimming pool after a long trip, it was an excellent evening relaxation. I liked the lobby where breakfast is served, it has a good vibe, lots of light, nice. My room was very cosy and it had morning sun, very nice.
I would love to see a bit of green plants around in the lobby where breakfast is served. Also the swimming pool area has much more potential. It could be a bit more "spa" style, i would add some how "warmer" feeling to it. I wondered why sauna was not available. I think that you should informa guests how much is the extra charge of it. It is embarassing to ask at the reception. My Last remark is regarding breakfast. I was a bit surprised there lots of ham but no cheese to put on bread. I would also welcome some eggs and some warm option.

Location is very central and convenient, if you come by car there is a public parking next door (around 13euro/night). Rooms are spacious, bad was confortable. Nice bathtub.
No coffee sticks or teabags, that would have been appreciated. The reception is closed from 22:00 and we were not aware. Luckily the staff sent us an email at 20:00 to let us know how to get the keys... It all worked out in the end. But this would have been better to know beforehand.

Cute room, nice hot water for the tub. Kitchenette was stocked with pots, cups and plates.
Walking distance to the city center and to a mall that also has a grocery store in it.
No hangers. The room was hot even though it was cool at night and I had the windows open. I asked to turn on the air conditioning unit but the receptionist said they don't use it in the winter. I explained that I really just wanted to use the fan option to circulate the air but he said he couldn't do anything to help me.

Very clean, bright, spacious. Furniture in good condition. The bed is incredibly comfy. Almost meets expectations.
The coffee maker is just for show. It does not work. The technology is a bit old.

Just the room has a smell which is very uncomfortable. And it doesn't really look like 4 star
