Okay but not great

Great location!

The staff is okay but not really friendly and you’re expected to do your own dishes or pay a fine. We asked do some extra coffee and sugar sachets and were told we can’t have any. Very embarrassing :/ for 100€/ night I would have just expected a bit more. Can’t recommend

Fantastic stay for the entire family!

The location, the friendly staff, the pool for the kids, the spacious apartment with a fully equipped kitchen.

Minor detail: not enough towels, and it took 2 trips to the reception to get the right amount of bed covers organized.

Comfortable, modern, clean. Very friendly staff. The internal parking was very useful to us, even if the access is a bit "labyrinthine". Excellent value.

Decent hotel at a reasonable price in a central location

Check-in was fast and uncomplicated. The reception was open 24 hours. The staff was friendly and answered our questions. Our apartment was fine. The furnishing and equipment in the apartment, including the kitchenette, corresponded to the description in the offer. The air conditioning was working properly and managed to cool the apartment down (35°C outside). Luggage storage after the check-out was possible (2 Euros per person) and the room was locked. The beautiful old town as well as the central station and several tram and bus stops are very close to the hotel.

The room offered a French double bed and a sofa bed (as described). Unfortunately, there was only a duo-blanket in the double bed. When we asked the staff for a second blanket late at night (because we did not see it earlier), they gave us a bed sheet which was fine for us. The sofa bed was quite squeaky. The furniture is a little worn. There was no dishwashing detergent in the kitchenette.

Satisfactory stay for Strasbourg. In a good location.

We ended up with a room with a kitchen which we didn’t consciously choose but was a great bonus as nothing much was open to eat on Sunday! Beds were fine, bathroom had what it needed and the hotel was located 10-15 mins walk from the station. It was 15-20min walk to the main old town attractions. There is a large mall with a supermarket across the street which was convenient.

There was a big pointless shelving unit which made the room more cluttered than it needed to be. I would have liked a shelf to put my suitcase on.

Staff were warm and kind.

No facilities in the room. Everything is paid and not even coffee/tea is a complementary. Absolutely, poor sound proofing. Can overhear all the conversations from rooms beside.

It's close to the downtown core and across the street from a shopping mall. Room was comfortable and quiet, and the air conditioning worked well as it was 32C that day.

There was no parking available as was advertised. On arrival, the hotel was completely inflexible about check-in time.

Very poor

We stayed for seven nights. We got no cleen towels and no cleaning in the room during our stay. The place is well worn and definitely not worth it. We never used the pool, since the smell of clorid was ALL over. It is very overpriced!!! We cannot reccomend it.

Overall decent stay, but disappointing on some fronts.

I liked that it had everything we wanted including a Kitchen and moderate sized bathroom.

There was no parking in the hotel and we had to park in a parkade when it was stated that the hotel had parking. The hotel did not serve basic stuff like salt and pepper. When asked, they stated they did not have any pepper in the hotel! During breakfast, when pancakes ran out an hour before closing and we asked to see if they were more pancakes coming. They stated "yes", however, no pancakes came till the end of breakfast.

Very comfortable, spacious, bright and nice room with minor issues

This was the second time I chose this apparthotel because I liked it for the first time. This time, I got a very comfortable, silent, bright and spacious room on the seventh floor that I liked very much. The arrangement was very practical and the room was quite clean. The little kitchenette was well-equipped and I did not miss anything. The air condition system is very useful, when it is hot outside, so I really appreciated it. I loved the fact that my room had three windows and there was a window on the bathroom as well. This provided the whole room with a lot of light and fresh air and the view was really nice from the seventh floor. I had everything I needed, so there is nothing to complain about. :) I will choose this accommodation next time again. The location is also super, the city center is just a few minutes away on foot.

There are smaller things I did not like and one bigger issue. The latter one is the WiFi which is disastrous. Not only is it extremely slow and it disconnects constantly, but it is not protected with a password at all which is quite a big problem when there are so many scams out there these days. It is not safe at all and the hotel has not improved the quality of the connection, since I have been there for the first time in 2021. Not even a tiny bit. This should be quite a basic thing nowadays. In Eastern Europe, we had such an Internet connection about 20-25 years ago, but at least, it was protected with a password even back then... So please, let's change this! It's a shame in such a nice hotel. Smaller issues are the following: the elevator for which I usually had to wait for a very long time on the seventh floor; the worn furniture of the hotel (broken off parts, rotten corners in the bathroom); weak hair-dryer in the bathroom (it's okay in the summer, but I wouldn't be able to dry my hair completely with this in the winter). Because of these, either the price should be a bit lower or the owners should fix these from the costs guests pay. Otherwise, this is a very nice place to stay in Strasbourg that I would highly recommend.

Neglected, badly maintained, but clean

It was clean and relatively quiet.

My room 506 was not well maintained at all. Crumbling fake leather on the chairs, stained curtains partly hanging off the curtain rails, cupboard doors sticking and scraping the floor, and the thermostat not working. The kitchenette is behind a pillar with hardly any room to open it. I’ve stayed in other Odalys with exactly the same furniture but far better maintained. This is really not acceptable for the price.

2 nights stas in Strasbourg

We have a bit mixed feelings after this trip. The rooms were fine, clean and comfortable. The service was OK, although they were only answering if we had questions, so nothing special. We had to announce, when we want to have breakfast, although it was a buffet breakfast on the ground floor. Why? The pool was never available for us. We asked two times. The selection at the breakfast buffet is OK for a couple of days. Location wise the hotel is very good. A very big shopping mall is in the front of it and everything is in walking distance: city centre, tram, cathedral, restaurants…etc.

This ‘studio’ is bad value for money and the upkeep of the rooms is poor.

The location near the station is convenient, and the shower is decent.

Unfortunately there was a lot wrong with this hotel/room. The room smelled strongly of smoke and marijuana when we entered. The kitchen facilities are minimal at best and the dishes were dirty. The pillows on the bed were so old and worn out as to feel like they were stuffed with a few cotton balls. The thermostat was set to 35C and it was impossible to change (no wonder the corridor was boiling as well). Lastly, the ‘luggage store’ provided by the hotel is not secure and we did not feel comfortable leaving our bags there.

Definitely not a 4 star. Furniture was old and damaged. Nothing offered other than soap. no coffee or tea. Breakfast downstairs was not enticing at all. e.g. the slices bacon were lard and all stuck together hardly cooked; looked like they had just been defrosted as a bunch.

poor hotel, no room to move in your room

between the bed and the 2 suitcases and the two of us there was NO additional room. I should have paid more elsewhere and had room to walk in instead of having to walk over the suitcases. awful...

read above. we also selected your hotel for the pool, paid extra as opposed to other properties, got there to find the pool was out of order the whole time. very disappointing....
