Good but not perfect

We expected a bit more for this price. The bathroom felt very outdated, there was a bad quality showerhead and the bathtube was clogged. Ventillation wasn’t good either No carpet in the room The sauna was tiny and the steam cabin had a bad smell

Ideal for a weekend in Luxembourg

Very helpful staff, they helped us with charging our electrical car in the premises. The location is also very convenient, with nice views of the city and 10 minutes away from the center by public transport.

Despite the rain and cold, our first taste of Luxembourg was wonderful — thanks to the warmth and comfort of Meliá Luxem

We loved our stay at Meliá Luxembourg. The hotel strikes the perfect balance between modern design and understated comfort — bright, spacious rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows and thoughtful details like the Nespresso machine and premium amenities. The staff were exceptional: warm, professional, and genuinely attentive without being intrusive. The location is ideal — peaceful, green surroundings in the Kirchberg district, yet only minutes from the old town and European institutions. Breakfast was superb, with a wide selection and excellent quality. Overall, it felt effortlessly elegant — a hotel that knows what travellers value most and delivers it with quiet confidence.

The room was perfect. Ritual products in the bathroom. Very friendly staff.

Only one remark : the tortilla in the bar was not good. This is one point which definitely needs to improve.

great location to participate at the National Day of Luxembourg !

We chose not to have breakfast as both days we were there we had nice restaurant lunch reservations. However we were told when we arrived we could have a coffee and a croissant as a courtesy. We just wanted coffee. First morning all fine. Nobody asked anything. Second morning I was interrogated as a thief ! Had to sign a bill that in the end the reception did not pulled out when we left ! Weird experience. We spent both evenings at the bar and those guys there are gold !

The room was very clean and comfortable. I was only in it for one day but it served all my needs. The staff were particularly helpful and pleasant,

The breakfast was expensive - even for Luxembourg, so I went out to a cafe instead. The tea/coffee in the room was not really sufficient, even for an overnight stay. But the staff were very helpful and replenished the tea.

Hotel was beautiful, spotless clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was great, literally a 2 minute walk to the tram line which took you straight into the centre within 10 minutes

The hotel was undergoing renovations while we were there, so was a little disruptive. Also the hotel would really benefit from a separate bar area for a drink, there was only the restaurant and it lacked a bar atmosphere

Great experience, very professional and helpful staff

It was a last-minute booking (following a bad hygiene situation at our original hotel), and the hostess at Melia was extremely accommodating and helpful, she even gave us a room upgrade. The hotel room is very clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and clean toilets. Great view of Luxembourg too. Good sauna area. Will definitely be booking Melia on my next trip

A great place to stay if you’re coming from out of town for a concert at the philharmonic. The location is literally rig

Location next to the Philharmonic for a show can’t be beat. Range of toiletries provided was a nice touch. Welcome drink voucher and room upgrade was a nice gesture although I’m not sure what the upgrade was. All staff was super friendly.

Areas under construction include a restaurant so there’s only one restaurant. My dinner was overpriced and not very good. At €34 for a seafood rice dish I was disappointed by the overcooked and tough shrimp and it’s consistency was more like porridge. Doors slamming in corridor in the morning actually shook my room. I’m not sure if it was due to cleaning staff or guests but it was jarring.

Fabulous hotel.

The room was fabulous, the bed was very comfortable, the food was impeccable, and the staff were wonderful.

Although it was situated near a tram stop and next to MUDAM, there weren't a lot of restaurants, nor any nightlife near it.

During the breakfast the self service pancake maschine should work better :)) and we were asking for the robes, but felt dissapointed, because they were really worn out… but clean.

the hotel is very close to the Teathre in the European quarter in Luxembourg city; the room was at high floor as I requested and was very nice.

A very nice hotel only a few bus stops from the city center. Pet friendly with good food and nice rooms Breakfast is amazing and very diverse - worth it Staff is nice and helpful

Only downside is that theres no parking for clients and the public park is very limited (also a few minutes away from hotel) Theres a private parking right next to the hotel but its expensive

Good hotel, really bad staff

The location is a bit outside of the centre but very easy to reach the center by tram.

Breakfast was ok for the price, but the lady in the breakfast restaurant was VERY VERY RUDE! We have booked the breakfast for the first morning (we stayed there for three days), but the receptionist forgot to registered our name/room in the breakfast list. The lady was immediately throwed her annoyed face to me and called the receptionist and blaming them for forgetting to update the list. I think she should keep calm in front of me, i am a customer and the fact that my name is not in the breakfast list was not my fault, so I dont deserve her annoyed face. At the same time my husband was accompanying our 1,5 year old boy walking around the restaurant, she was also mad to my husband because my husband and my little boy walked to the other side of the restaurant which is not part of the breakfast place. Despite the horrible treatment of this lady, we still booked breakfast for the next morning. The same lady came to our table said that i have to watch my boy so that he does not throw away any food on the floor because they can not clean it. She talked really rude this time. My little boy was not throwing any food the floor, but the day before he ate boiled egg and some of the yolk fell through the floor. I understand it's more work to clean it, but she can tell me in a nice way and not being rude, also if the hotel does not want to clean more for kid's guests, why do you offer a family room? I offered her to put a napkin underneath my boy's chair, so then it's easier to clean any food fell unintendedly to the floor, and she replied: NO, IT DOESN'T HELP, PLEASE DONT DO IT, JUST WATCH YOUR KID! At this point, I dont enjoy the breakfast in this hotel anymore. I would not go back to this hotel as long as that lady still working there. We decided to not have breakfast for our last morning, heck if I can cancel the last night I would even cancel it! The last thing, when we checked out they charged us for three times breakfast.

Great location for the hotel, next to the modern art museum and the philharmonic! It is easy to get there.

The design of the hotel rooms is so austere that it could even be said that it is not homely. Maybe it is suitable for business people, but not for ordinary travelers/vacationers...
