Would definitely stay here again

Very cute vintage hotel, clean, cozy and centrally located next to Garre, they provide some bathroom items like cotton, soap, cute tips, also coffee and tea in the room along with water was great to have! Super easy check in and check out, they also took care of my bags on my checkout day so I could keep touring before my flight.

The vintage floors, the vintage items and books, magazines etc on hallways, the coffee and tea in my room as well as the fresh water in lobby and there was some pastries in lobby as well.

A fun comfortable evening on our way back to the UK.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, hotel is a great fun mix up of styles. We were lucky to get one of the parking spaces, which was a big bonus. Location for what we wanted (an overnight stop on the way home from Austria) was fine, but may need checking if you are looking for a longer stay. Unusually, there is free water in the room and a water machine in the reception with glasses for both still and sparkling water. Overall, I would happily stay here again, so what more can I say. :)

Nostalgic hotel close to the train station

I liked the nostalgic decoration in the living room as in the hallways. My room was clean and comfortable. It was an advantage for me that it was so close to the train station.

Pleasant but reception staff need additional training

The hotel entrance, rooms and overall look and feel is nice.

The way I was greeted at reception. I arrived around 22:30pm and the man at reception declared that I had no reservation without double checking. This was not what I was expecting given I was travelling alone.

A charming historic hotel with excellent service, spacious rooms, and a perfect central location.

The Perrin Hotel is truly a historic gem in Luxembourg. The property is beautifully decorated, very clean, and offers spacious, comfortable rooms. What really stands out is the warmth and professionalism of the staff. The gentleman at the front desk, who has been working there for 60 years, was especially memorable and added so much character to our stay. The hotel’s central location is a big plus, just steps away from the Central Station, restaurants, and shops, making it easy to explore the city. A perfect blend of history, charm, and modern comfort—I highly recommend it!

Fantastic service in amazing surroundings and wonderful staff.

This hotel is simply wonderful. The rooms were lovely, the salon and reception area are beautiful, and the staff were exceptional. The pastries in reception as well as plenty of water were ideal for a treat, and its proximity to both the station and the city were ideal.

Delightful Stay

The elderly man at the service desk was so welcoming and helpful. For instance, one evening I left my small backpack in the restaurant that is tied to the hotel. The next morning I asked if he would check with restaurant staff about this when the restaurant opened for the day. When we returned later that afternoon, he summoned me to the desk. Sure enough he had recovered my backpack. He also gave us essential information about getting around in Luxembourg, which made it a delightful stay.

CARLTON NOT ANYMORE....IT'S PERRIN..

The location excelent, but the premises had a very old look, and being the Carlton previously it may have been very nice. I think needs renovation .

Did not have air conditioning. Curtains, rugs in the corridors and furniture too old. The owner was nice but very strict. No flexible. I think it was a sad facility . I did not take photos, sorry.

Very pleasant.

We stayed for one night only to see Luxembourg. The location is perfect and the gentleman on reception, who appears to be a permanent fixture, was most charming and helpful. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for him. There is a feeling of history to the hotel, though it was obviously once much bigger and more grand. However, it retains a lovely feel, and is very clean and comfortable. If you want jacuzzi baths and silver service, go elsewhere. I however will happily return here.

Ok for 1-2 nights but with earplugs

- great location, very close to the main station and about 15 minutes on foot the city centre - nice room - view from the windows into the courtyard (it was good because I’ve experienced no noise coming from the street as I’ve read in other reviews)

- No soundproofing. When someone flushes the toilet in other rooms, it is very, very, very loud. I think I have never heard it so loud. You can also hear people in the hallway and voices in neighboring rooms. Be sure to take care of earplugs. - The man at the reception was not very friendly. I didn't feel like a welcome customer, but rather like he was doing me a favor by letting me stay at this hotel at my expense. - There is no room to store luggage, they do not issue a number. So theoretically anyone can take my luggage. I felt not completely safe - The check-in process on paper. A little modernity wouldn't hurt - The room had a smell of antiquity, but this was resolved by airing it out.

Great hotel close to city center of Luxembourg.

Very good location, close to P+R Bouillon (20 minutes by foot, but buses are free, so you can use it for 2 stops). In Superior room we had a bathtub, which was a great advantade! All clean, comfort bed, huge room. Good atmosphere in a hotel, old fashioned, but in a very good condition. Very nice Mister on the reception, very kind, wanted to help with everything and speaks a few languages :)

Excellent Option in Lux.

My first time in Luxembourg City. Location: Perfect 9/10, The hotel is located very close to the main train station, 3-4 bus/tram stops away to the major attractions and 20 min away from the airport. There are many good groceries, supermarkets, nice cafes & restaurants around. Bus, tram stations are within very short walking distance. Check-in & out: Easy and smooth 10/10. Personnel: Overall kind and helpful 10/10 Room: Room is enough in size; furniture is of good quality and comfortable. Basic toiletries including slippers are available. Heating works well. Cleaning was very good. Modern WC/shower and overall high hygiene standards. The surrounding area was silent. Excellent sleep quality, bed, pillow, quilt, and mattress 10/10 Plus  Two bottle of water, kettle @ room and some croissants & purified water are free @ lobby Common spaces: 7/10 Wi-Fi: 10/10 Security: 10/10 Overall: my experience was 9/10 and I will consider staying in this hotel again on my future trips.

Excellent value-for-money option near the city center

This hotel is an excellent value-for-money option! The rooms are housed in a beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated building, conveniently located near the city's main train station and just a short walk from the city center. The rooms are well-equipped with all the essentials, and the beds are very comfortable.

The neighborhood can feel a bit sketchy, particularly in the evening, and the staff's English communication skills could use some improvement.

The manager is extremely nice person. Very welcoming, kind and polite. The Hotel is comfortable, and it looks like you have dived into 1960’s! It is charming!

The room was extremely small, and we could barely move around inside. The room also lacks a mini-bar, for people to use it at discretion.

Mrs Giane is so kind and the hotel has a very nice sfeer.

The only thing that I can complain is the temperature... was too warn and the tour ventilator was not enough...
