Lovely place to explore Luxembourg City

Only there one night but very comfortable and pleasant

The reception staff were a bit off with me when I asked something “well you didn’t book with Hilton” so they knew I had booked through booking.com and didn’t seem to like it

Shame on the management and Hilton Hotel chains!

I can give give a star for the lady who checked us in and for the cleanliness of the bathroom.

1. Problems with hotel room keys! 2. Dingy rooms and poorly lit rooms! 3. Coffee stain on desk! 4. Rooms were cold. Heating system was broken down long back according to reviews from past guests. No necessary repairs made! 5. Pool showers cold. 6. Pool water lukewarm. 7. Changing area for women had a weird smell, hair on the floor, unhygienic and unkempt! 8. 330ml of Coca Cola costs 6 euros! Such a rip off!

Fantastic 3 night stay at a superb hotel.

The Hotel is a distance from the town centre so you will need to rely on the number 4 bus that runs twice an hour up to midnight. Getting out to the fringes of the city gives you a better idea of where people live and how life is in Luxembourg. Having arrived, the reception staff were exceptional throughout all the shifts. They were professional and polite and resolved an issue with my booking immediately. Our room was superb and breakfast excellent. The pool and excellent gym were great additions to use. We were very impressed with everything and have only high praise for the way all staff made us feel welcome and the efforts they put in to do this.

Absolutely nothing. The bathroom could have been more modern but it was cleaned every day by Housekeepers who were diligent and reliable, changing towels. I’m not going to find fault when none existed.

Great location, near to a Bus stop for free travel into the City. The room was clean, comfortable and a good size. The staff were very helpful and we would stay here again.

It was adequate as a budget hotel but I would not stay there again or recommend it to others

Room was well sized and the hotel was clean

It was difficult to go directly to and from the airport without taking an extortionately priced taxi. The heating in our room did not work (it was -2 degrees outside at night) and despite asking the reception about 5 times (and being reassured we were going to be helped each time) we did not have anyone into our room to fix it over the course of the 2 nights we spent there.

Easy access, comfortable and professional

The gym space. They could improve this amenity. Also, since the gym doesn't have a camera, we had to deal with several children alone during the workout, some as young as 2 years old. They were taking risks lifting dumbbells. This isn't a playground. I reported it to the front desk.

I made a complaint about the television in my room not working, communication etc. This was dealt with expeditiously by

A bit way out of the city centre and transportation to and fro was a struggle on the day I arrived. Other than that, it’s quite secluded and serene.

The lack of communication- calls went unanswered severally and I was left stressed and anxious as I needed to get in touch with the hotel.

DoubleTree by Hilton

Well situated, outside of the main part of the city, with a reliable free bus service. Staff were very friendly, with most able to speak excellent English.

On the three days we were there, only one lift of three seemed to be servicing the 19 floors, which meant waiting for up to 10 minutes for access. Ww also thought the price of breakfast was rather extortionate at 25€ per head.

Nice big rooms, with king size bed. Parking was clear and good spaces.

The lifts took a long time to call and were always full at busy times. We took the stairs down for a finish.

Our stay for 2 nights was very relaxing. Rooms and other facilities are really nice. No 4 and 32 bus stop is just 100mtrs from hotel. This needs to be included in hotel website.

Will not redo

The breakfast and the treadmill.

The bed, the outdated room key situation. The one elevator that wasn’t working. And the situation with the parking ticket and having to call to get someone to open the gate so you can leave.

Awful stay and unhelpful staff. Refused to give us water to drink, and change an uncomfortable room.

Very disappointing stay. We booked three rooms, all of which had broken air conditioning during a period of extreme heat. The rooms were unbearably hot, and none of us could sleep properly. The hotel acknowledged the issue and issued a letter confirming that a refund was appropriate — but only one of the three rooms has actually been refunded so far. To make matters worse, there was no drinking water provided in the rooms, and when we asked at reception, we were told they couldn't give us water because it would affect their audit. This was a basic need that was completely dismissed. For a hotel of this standard, the lack of functioning AC and refusal to provide water is unacceptable. I would not recommend staying here unless these issues are addressed.

Stay in nature

The hotel was in the woods, a refreshing experience in a natiral setting. The room was spacious and clean. The reception was so helpful in letting us choose the room we liked. Parking was convenient and staff was nice. We had an enjoyable stay and definitely we would choose this hotel again.

I would have expected a better breakfast selection, being in a Hilton. The food items were standard, nothing special.

Friendly staff, ensured we had a walk in shower has my husband hadn’t long had a knee replacement. Restaurant for breakfast was busy, staff worked really hard to keep it replenished. Plenty of choices. No issues with toasting my GF bread in the kitchen to avoid cross contamination Bedroom was clean, spacious, bed and pillows were very comfy. Very helpful at reception

It was clean, staff was nice and spoke English. The bar was very nice. The breakfast was nice. The pool was nice and clean, not heated like advertised.

None of the outlets in the room worked. Had to unplug lamps to get them to work. The gym wasn’t anything special, No treadmills.

It was still a great stay

The Breakfast was really good and the service was also good.

The room was so dark and lonely that we were booked at the last room where there was no view by the window but we only see leaves from the forest and there was no direct sunlight coming through our window although it was very sunny outside.

A nightmare named Hilton

Friendly stuff, good Breakfast

It is very rare that I write reviews, but in this case, I feel compelled to share my negative experiences. For a price of nearly €200 per night, I expected much more. The rooms are outdated, dirty, and in no way reflect the pictures presented online. Everything outside the lobby looks run-down and far from what the photos promise. The elevators are extremely loud, making a restful night's sleep impossible. From the outside, the building resembles a prison rather than a hotel. The location is also disappointing, taking 45 minutes to get to the city. The only positives were the breakfast and service, which were acceptable but certainly not up to Hilton's usual standards.

Nice, clean comfortable room, nice breakfast! Bus from the center can't reach the hotel after 22:00.

We really liked that the room was big, clean and comfortable beds, There is an office also which allows comfortable working environment. The breakfast had lots of options

There was some noise from the elevators. Also the buses in the city stop relatively early so it is not that much a convenient location if you want to have a drink in the city and use the bus.

Comfortable and convenient

Really comfortable and everyone was willing to help and friendly. You can take a bus to take you around the city very close to the hotel's door so, even though the hotel is not in the city center, you can reach there quite easily. The location is very neat with the forest right at your doorstep.

Everything was nice, I don't have complains.
