It’s worth the money as it’s an expensive city, but could do more on maintenance and check up routines on bed side equip

It’s easy to get to the city from here and you have lots of places to stay and relax in the lobby. The entrance feels welcoming when you’re not stuck by the one door that is closed and the right door that is only open. I love the studying rooms and the breakfast area is nice as well. Lift was working fine and there is bathrooms on every floor. Parking was not an issue honestly and there’s vending machines as well

My bed side light didn’t work and I had to turn either the phone switch or the whole lights of the room which was very inconvenient. The bed sheet you have to do them and also remove them and put them downstairs. Only one shower was working from two and it’s a hassle to wash shampoo off your long hair with a 20 second time frame as the water stops coming down before you have to turn it back on. Stuff hospitality wasn’t the best, can be some improvement but ok.

Standard hostel in a central location.

Modern hostel in a central location with generally clean facilities. Food in the dining area was good value although the breakfast was quite basic. Evening meal options were much better. Recommended for a short stay.

Disappointed

The free breakfast was great, although limited selection

The beds were very uncomfortable, taps and shower were faulty and led to the room being completely stacked with water all the time. Very expensive for a hostel especially considering what it was worth. Staff were curt and rude. Location was inconvenient if you wanted to travel to the cit center. No self-serve kitchen area which was disappointing

Wouldn’t rush back but it did the job

Bed was comfortable and room was clean

Lights in room and hall way were very bright - they could dim at night. Doors slammed and no way to close softly. Staff seemed to be put out by having to assist with check in or any questions. Breakfast was free and decent but unless there early you miss out.

Pleasant hostel to stay in Luxembourg.

Good location Easy to get to with public transport . Rooms comfortable. Breakfast was ok they ran out of orange juice, yogurt on some days . Free storage lockers.

Some staff were not helpful especially the bar staff. I asked for hot water twice it seemed like the guy working in bsr was counting how many cups of hot water I had, there was no kitchen or kettle to boil hot water . The lights in shower kept going off! And water have to keep pressing it down. My lower bed request was met after speaking to.manager with my hip replacement otherwise they put me on top bunk bed!!

Clean but lack of respect and customer service

* the staff were so rude the entire time . Horrible customer service * They provide breakfast which is always a plus , but it starts at 6:30-9 . When me and my husband would go at 8 there was no salad or fruit , or yogurt left out- they would not restock at all..so we were left with cold bread and cold cut of meat ... I didn't eat .. * When our roommate asked if they could restock the worker basically yelled at him that this was free and he couldn't expect more then this.. it was rude and embarrassing . I wouldn't return just for the lack of respect . If it says breakfast till 9 then they should provide it. * We were in a basement room with 4 people and NO FAN OR AC. The window wouldn't even open and for two days the staff refused to go down to open it for us???! I have no idea why they wouldn't help but it was miserable . * There was not even soap for washing your hands... Too cheap for hygiene ?

Great location for getting value for what you spend.

The location was superb can be reached with 2 routes of public transport. Location is very close to most of the attractions including 2 museums. Breakfast was simple but for a hostel very good. They do lunch and dinner thae same menu but for the price and quality exceptional. One day i even had rabbit as the main meal. Everyone in the staff was very helpful. Loved staying at this place.

Great place overall but be prepared to feel the summer heat in the rooms.

I love the location and the staff. I also love the fact that breakfast is included. Breakfast was great by the way. I also like that you can do laundry for a fee. So convenient.

As with most accommodations in Europe, air conditioning is hard to come by. My stay in this lodging was the most uncomfortable in terms of room climate. Even with the window opened, air circulation just wasn’t good.

My stay was okay and I will definitely be staying again if I had the chance.

I only stayed for a day in this place, but it felt like I stayed for a longer period. It left a lasting impression on me. The breakfast was good and the restaurant had a variety of meals.

I was sleeping at the top bed and the next time I will have to add a preference of not staying at the top it was difficult getting down for me.

Simple, but perfect for a solo traveller with a budget

Had a good stay at the Youth Hostel. The rooms were were clean and had spacious lockers, the bed was comfy, the breakfast was alright. The location is perfect to explore Luxemburg. The staff were friendly & helpful. All in all not much to complain! Bonus points for the lockers in the hallway so you could store your luggage before or after check in with no extra cost. Super helpful!

The toilet & shower were in separate rooms which in theory sounds good to avoid the spaces being crowded/needing to wait to use the restroom whilst someone else is showering. However, the toilet didn’t have a sink so if someone was indeed showering, you weren’t able to wash your hands after using the toilet. Not ideal. Also the shower had an automatic light that shines right to one of the beds so if someone uses that room in the middle of the night you will wake up to the light, which is unfortunate. Other than that nothing to complain.

Good hostel in luxembourg

Staff are friendly and efficient. It's clean, has everything you need, has a bar and restaurant, rooms are spacious and comfortable. Arrived on a Sunday evening, had the dinner which was nice, left Monday. Breakfast is provided. It's basic but part of your stay..towels are provided at a 5euro cost (have to pay a deposit)..they also take a 3 euro deposit which I didn't understand. A nice mix.of people staying there when I stayed in May.

Amazing place! Everything close by!

Amazing staff, very comfortable room with an amazing view and all the tourist attractions within walking distance. Loved this place very much!

I just wished the restaurant was opened later for those that come back late and want a bite to eat. Other than that, I loved everything about this place.

Short stays

Staff very helpful and breakfast was included was a bonus ., but we paid for towel etc .good location central with the bus 10 mins from town . Lots of bars restaurants 'main attractions etc . Bed bunks were okay but a bit outdated . Security yes cameras everywhere etc . Lots places to sit and relax .

The toilets in my floor there were so dirt when I arrived . I don't know probably was a group of kids visiting from a school but they need to check them often and cleaning regularly . No toilet paper , showers need cleaning . The bunk beds old and very uncomfortable .

Not a lot of other options so it would do

The only hostel I could find in Luxembourg city. Breakfast is included but wasn’t to my taste could have done with some fruit or vegetables. Bed was comfortable and shower and toilet were close to my room.

Felt like a hospital and smelt like one too. No curtains on the bed. Corridor light is always on so when people come in at night it wakes everyone up also the door is very loud. Lots of screaming kids whilst I was there. Staff were very slow to check me in they said they were changing over staff but considering I was soaking wet from the rain they probably could’ve been more helpful.

I hate giving titles

Not far from the buses or an uphill walk to get into town. Close to a strip of bars/restaurants. Nice clean room, separate toilet & shower but still joined to the room so convenient. Nice downstairs/common area. I liked that the window opened right up as well

The shower room had a sensor light that you couldn't turn off manually and it shined right on to one of the bunks. Not sure if it's the same in all rooms but that was about the only fault

Would definitely stay again here

Friendly Stuff and all pretty organized and clean. No waiting for check in. The even gave me soya milk as I am a Vegan. Very nice. Beds with light and power to charch your devices. Big lockers in the room. Very central.

The Coffee was bad and the door made a horrible loude noise when open and closed.

A drugged man was walking around in the hallway until late at night, it felt unsafe to use the restroom facilities. The staff was not helpful - they had told us we can all stay in the same room but proceeded to place us in different rooms. Also the term "youth" hostel is misguiding, the other visitors were clearly over 50. I do not recommend to stay here.

Definitely nice if you want to be near the center, without a lot of comforties

Really in the center of the town, in 10 Min by walk you are in the historic center. It is also nice that if you want there is the possibility to eat lunch/dinner there.

The breakfast could have been better, the bathroom at one point didn't had paper (which is of course a bit annoying).

Very good

Locker just beside your bed with enough space. There is a lamp and plug beside the bed. Shower room with separate shower cabins, with space to leave your things and get dress. Great location

Pillow good enough but not great. Breakfast was basic that's ok, but no more fruit at the time I went for breakfast at 8am
