Home from home

Small boutique hotel with generously sized rooms, friendly staff and lovely breakfast. Off street parking very close to city centre. Very comfortable for a solo female traveller. Quiet hotel and quiet location

Only niggle was the overhead shower only gave out tepid temperature water but bath and shower head attached to bath gave out lovely warm / hot water. I would have preferred a hot shower but managed to improvise

Fabulous hotel, Annabelle was a lovely host. We had the taster set course meal which was excellent. They have great kitchens that you can look into.

Convenient for a business stay, a bit overpriced

NIce room (I had the Rose / 2), OK building.

It's a bit overpriced for what it is, breakfast was not included, a bit far from the center (I used Ubers to move around).

Delightful hotel in perfect location.

Beautiful hotel in a quiet location on the edge of the city. Just a10 minute walk or a free bus ride into town. The rooms were excellent- comfortable, elegant and relaxing. Great breakfast with perfectly cooked eggs on demand. Lovely outdoor seating area in the very pretty gardens.

Interesting location, nice place, good staff

Parking possibilities, good mattress, interesting location, staff very helpful, excellent restaurant available, bathroom big enough, wifi working well, enough spaces for suitcases, nice bath and shower

No classic soap provided next to the sink, only liquid soap small plastic bottles, pillows are horribly thin (when your head is on it they somewhat vanish), the towels for the bathroom are not very soft...

great little hotel next to the city center

We stayed for one night, and the location was great (next to the city center) and the hotel was perfect. Small hotel, decorated with lots of love for details. The rooms were spacious and equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast was great, plenty of local produce and responsive service. The private parking lot behind the hotel was also very convenient.

It's really a lovely little hotel, and there's only one minor point to complain about: The side entrance to the hotel is very convenient, as it leads directly to the parking lot and exit from the main elevator/stairway. But the outside door doesnt shut properly, and we found it open in the afternoon and even at night when getting back from dinner. The surroundings appeared safe enough, but hopefully this gets fixed soon.

the staff were so kind and helpful and the property is close to everything you need in the city centre and the heater floors were amazing 🤤

TV was so old I’m pretty sure I had the same one as a child, I’m 29! 😂

Accommodation with a difference and a fantastic restaurant - recommended

We had dinner in the restaurant and I can honestly say it was probably the best meal I have had in a restaurant ever. We had the tasting menu which was a delight in every course. If this restaurant was 400 miles closer to home we would go every week. Our room, the library, was perfect in every way.
