Very good and I would stay again and recommend it to others.

The location was superb and the staff were very helpful.

The location in the centre has a downside at weekends. We were on the front of the hotel and Friday night was noisy until 2.00am. The other nights (Weds and Thurs) were very quiet

A great weekend break

Lovely room and really well located in the old town

A little on the expensive side but the stay was lovely. Only downside is that there can be quite a bit of noise at night as it’s so central. Didn’t bother me as I sleep easily but something to be aware of

Overall a good choice in the centre of town

Splendid location in the old town of Luxembourg, in front of the Ducal Palace. Large but cosy suite, very good bed, quiet. Friendly restaurant with simple, heavy Luxembourg dishes but interesting LU wines

Lovely place in old town Luxembourg

Lovely appointments, great restaurant and breakfast in room, beautiful views. Loved the heated floors and the overall decor.

Tub was a challenge due to its height and the slippery floor without grab bars.

Amazing staff, lovely hotel!

We loved staying here! We got to experience the restaurant downstairs as well as all the local Christmas markets and this hotel and staff made our stay an absolute dream! We did not experience any lively nightlife at all; we would absolutely come back to this hotel.

Very well located hotel with a lovely restaurant. Very friendly staff.

Excellent location for visiting the Old City and, as we were driving, parking facilities (payable) very close to the hotel. If parking is booked, they also provide very good details on how to find the hotel. The hotel was lovely. Our room was one of the suites with a nice separate sitting room and a good sized bedroom. Bathroom was also a good size and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we ate in the restaurant on our last night which was excellent with local food and very friendly staff. We were there on a Friday/Saturday and it's very close to some of the local bars but the windows were triple glazed and did prevent the majority of this noise coming through. A lovely central hotel for seeing Luxembourg.

There was no air conditioning and it was hot. The windows faced the noisy side and we didn't sleep until 3 a.m.

Pretty boutique hotel, right in the centre of Luxembourg, with spacious, comfortable, high-end rooms.

With no surprise given its prime location, there is some noise until late because of the bars and restaurants with street seating all around the hotel. However, the double windows are very effective in cancelling most of the noise and it did not impact our sleep.

Great stay to explore from

This hotel is perfectly located for exploring Luxembourg City, with main attractions, shops and great restaurants within walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our suite had a separate sitting area, making it a comfortable stay. The bed was okay, and the wifi worked well throughout. No air conditioning, but we didn’t need it in early May. If driving, park at Knuedler Parking (google maps have it marked). It's a 5-minute walk away, and accomodates larger cars.

This is not a negative about the hotel, per se, but do note that late-night noise from restaurants and tourists in the street made it impossible to keep the windows open at night when sleeping. Once closed, they blocked most of the sound.

Too Noisy to Relax

Unfortunately, we did not notice the fine print regarding the street noise and the fact that the hotel does not offer refunds in case of cancellation for this reason. As a result, we were unable to sleep during our entire stay. The bar directly across from the hotel stayed open until the early hours of the morning, with loud music and shouting from people well into the night. Something is clearly wrong—it’s not sustainable for a hotel and a bar to operate directly across from one another unless all guests come with the intention of partying. The windows provide absolutely no sound insulation. The reception staff were quite rude and seemed unwilling to explain how the breakfast system worked, with the exception of one kind lady we met in the morning who tried to make up for the situation. The breakfast is also overpriced for what it offers. Overall, we did not enjoy our experience and would not recommend this hotel.

Great stay and would highly recommend this hotel for any city break in Luxembourg.

The staff were amazing, friendly, helpful providing an excellent service. The location was perfect for central old city and shops, bars, restaurants and sites. The food was excellent.

Paying extra for breakfast was unwelcome given the price we paid for the room.

Having stayed here a few times it was, once again, nice to have a spacious, clean suite with comfortable bed and useful features like bathrobe, tea / coffee / minibar / slippers. Really friendly welcome and helpful staff throughout.

The only disadvantage of this hotel is the noise caused by the activity outside early each morning. Given the (really good) central location this is unavoidable and not something that can be mitigated.

The hotel was a delightful experience.

The hotel location is excellent. It is within walking distance of so many attractions. It was charming to be in such an historic building. The staff was wonderful. They went above and beyond to explain the features and options of our stay.

One of the most charming features of the hotel – it being in an historic building – is also one of the downsides. There was an elevator available, but it could not be reached without taking at least a few stairs. This is not a hotel that would be workable for someone with significant physical disabilities.

The location of the hotel is so good, if you are without kids… While the hotel is located in old town, surrounded with geeat bars / restaurants.

the location should make it very that it is not baby/stroller friendly. we struggled a lot with the stairs and tight lift. no accessibility at all. While the staff were very nice in helping us with lifting the stroller

Parking was awkward but staff guides you through it! Just dont forget anything in your car as theres no access once parked!

located in a place where the gps couldn’t easily find. recommended the hotel give detailed driving directions (or tell peeps to park at the Astrid parking garage (pretty close)
