Pleasantly surprised

Booked this last minute as an apartment I had booked cancelled. The room had automatic blackout shutters and air cooling, which was brilliant especially as it was a heatwave when I was visiting. Bathroom very clean!

More an aesthetic thing than anything else as the bed was actually quite comfy but it was a mattress on a fold out couch.

Clean hotel

Parking is a few minutes walk away from the hotel. On arrival we had to find parking and then check in before we were told where the parking location was.

Lovely hotel in beautiful Belair neighbourhood, 15' from city center.

The decoration, cleanliness and general state of the room.

Staff could have been more warm, they have difficulties by speaking in English so maybe in French, Italian or Luxembourgish would have been better

I can call myself now a regular at Albergo Aida. I am never dissapointed.

This time there was only a triple room available and we were only two. There is no option for a two use of a triple money wise. I had to pay it as a triple use even if one bad was never touched and so about towels. Cleaning and maintenance will be below the regular price for a triple room completely used. Maybe consider advertising a double use for a triple room just as there is the single use of a double room? Just a thought !

Not a good experience Aida

Pizza restaurant good, shower good

Towels thin and not enough, a/c did not work, bed too small and uncomfortable, lighting switch did not work properly (could only switch on and off from main switch at entrance). No lift, therefore nine flights of stairs which were steep and very narrow in places, to reach 3rd floor room. No water or tea / coffee facilities in room. No breakfast served. Pretty poor all round really.

It's exactly what one's needs for a night in Luxembourg (5 bus stops from city center).

The rooms are an extra business to a restaurant and if you arrive in between lunch and reopening for dinner, you have to wait. Of course this is said in the email one receives before arriving, but if something unexpected crosses your path and you arrive exactly when noone is there - you have to wait. And sometimes it's uncomfortable.

Okay for budget travellers.

Very close to the city center and good communication. Great italian resto (which is probably the main business and hotel is just side business). Rooms were clean and tidy. The staff was not only nice but very helpful and joyful.

Very limited check-in and check-out hours (check before you go there, otherwise you might sit on your luggages for some time). First time in my life in hotel in the west I have encountered such practice. Very small rooms. I had bad exposure of window towards AC exhausts in my room which was not only making it ugly but also a bit noisy.

Very modern, lovely space, extremely comfortable, great shower, air con

No elevator, a challenge if you have much luggage Street noise so need to keep windows closed and sleep with air con on (at least there is air con!). Assume there are internal facing rooms too, which I will ask for next time. Would definitely stay again :-)

My stay was perfect. The only thing I would suggest is to have a coffee machine in the room. Very useful for business travelling women starting their day in their room :)

Nice little room, close to the center

Close to the center, next to the bus station, clean, restaurant down stairs if needed.

Not a straightforward check-in if you come outside the set time interval. There are some roadworks just outside the hotel, the bed kind of hard for me and a little too small lengthwise. Limited space for clothes
